The folks here at Midas are very helpful. Needed an oil change and tire rotation and these guys had the best price ($20) as part of an ongoing promotion and did the job in 45 minutes. They seem knowledgeable and Ill be back for my AC recharge next summer.

Ever since Eddie left Midas it hasn’t been the same!!! The new manager Matt is HORRIBLE!!! My family and I have been going there for 20 years now and will never be going back. When I went in this time they charged me double of what I always get prices at and when I went in to get my car so I can have it done somewhere else Matt told me that he can’t give me quotes because his family runs the company and they can change the prices to what they want so he wouldn’t give me paperwork… talk about being LOYAL to the costumers.. that’s only half of it don’t even get me started on how when I picked up my car my check engine light is now on and I know for a fact it wasn’t…. This place needs a better management and better customer service skills.! Matt is rude, thinks he better than everyone, and talks trash about former employees to the customers!!!!!

I had a brake job done in June. The manager is wired he is doing to much. I got my oil changed to leave town and my brake fluid cap was missing .I went back and it was a joke to him Matthew C.The mechanic that worked on my car got smart and I went there with him. I would not go back ever. They are the worst. I am going to have my car completely checked for everything they said they did.

This is the only place I will take my car! The man in there is always honest and reputable. He also has better prices than anywhere around. I drive a little farther to get there but it’s always worth it because I know my car is in good hands! I had to have my headlight changed and Delta sonic wouldn’t even do it. I took it here and paid less than $20. So worth it would recommend this place to anyone who needs anything done with their car

Old returning customer.My bill has high but 40% lower than the normal. Needed the entire exhaust system oxygen sensors, cats and all. Long Warranty and complete job with no corner cutting. Also seen a lady who needed serious work but I checked and they gave her a deal as she was a single older lady with a 1993 domestic. You will pay a basic lower price than others from a premium company.I recommend calling first. This place is a hot spot for good service and gets busy.

Very nice people, the owner Joe was very friendly to me and gave me a great deal for my oil change! Plus let me know about what was wrong with my car otherwise to without charging me. Definitely recommending that you come here for your car care/services! Definitely 5 stars.

Visiting and staying in Oak Lawn back in January during the extreme cold, a whole bunch of warning lights started to show in our Escape. We had a 18 hour drive ahead of us the next day so we needed to be sure what was going on. Brought it in and the staff was extremely helpful and honest. A very trustworthy establishment.

Okay, so I love this Midas--weve had nothing but good service and everything.BUT.The website clearly has a link for appointments.Having learned the hard way from another retailer, I called to check whether there were appointments available.Oh, we dont take appointments here, I was told. First-come first-serve.That needs to be indicated on the website, then. And the misleading appointments link needs to be removed.Or--better idea? Actually TAKE appointments. Because not all of us are enthused about playing lets-go-to-the-races to try to get their car in by 7 AM in the hopes of being the first in first-come-first-serve.

I have been here three times so far. I willcontinue to return because I feel very comfortable that the managers and workers are honest and straightforward with customers. I have never felt like they were trying to overcharge me. In fact, two times they did not charge me at all. One time it was because my windshield was not moving and he fixed it in one minute. The other time there was a check engine light and the issue was likely due to a computer sensor in my Lexus. Even though they could not fix that issue, and they recommended I make an appointment with the Lexus dealership, they did not charge me anything after spending several hours running comprehensive diagnostics. The manager Eddie provided me a printout of the codes I would need to show the dealership so that could streamline the process.

The service was just okay, I kinda felt a bit dismissed. They just wanted you to pay and leave so they can get on to the next. Also a bit pricey for the repairs. I most likely will not be back to this location. The reason for three stars is because the repairs were done well with quality parts.

I had to have timing chain & water pump replaced. Problem diagnosed quickly & I was given quote shortly after. I got car back same day. It runs fine, Im very pleased so far. Thanks Eddie Arroyo and the Mechanic who worked on the car.

Eddie was great, told him what I was looking to get fixed, he then told me what I needed and gave me a complete breakdown of what I need done. Didnt try to sell me on any of it and told me exactly what I needed for my visit and how to prevent further issues down the road. As a guy who does 99% of the work on my own car, I can trust this shop to take care of my car. Great location and great staff!

Not friendly at all. Cashier was rude. Jiffy lube is a little bit more expensive but at least their friendly I rather pay extra for better customer service. Never giving this place another dime.

This is best Midas shop in town. They are under new management since many of the other reviews listed here over 3 years ago. They take great care of their customers and I always go back. I have tried other local Midas shops and they are just OK. This one is the best in my opinion. I take ALL of my cars here. I have never been disappointed. I once tried to take my car to another Midas out by Ohare when I heard a noise while driving. I got a crazy quote that did not seem quite right. I called this shop & the manager, Eddie remembered me & my car right away. I left the other shop & came right into this one. Eddie saved me a few hundred bucks on a repair I didnt need right then and I was up & running the same day. My car has been running perfectly ever since. Very professional, exceptional customer service and always a good value for my money.

Unheard of Service, amazing. My husband was to take my car in this morning for a new battery-he had it on the charger all night so he could at least get it there...of course it didnt start. He went to see if he could at least purchase the battery-The mechanic said hed drive it to our house and install it there. All for less than what other places even start to charge!!!In awe of the service. Very happy

This shop has the most honest and caring employees of any auto repair store Ive been to. I called the store to ask if they were able to change my car battery the same day. I explained that I wasnt sure when I would be in because I was waiting for AAA to come and jump my car. Eddie remembered me, drove to my house a few blocks away, jumped my car, and changed my battery at the shop within 10 minutes of me arriving at the store. I will definitely be back and will recommend this shop to anyone who asks! Thanks Eddie!

STAY AWAY !!This manager does NOT know how to do muffler and pipe work.On top of that he ABSOLUTELY does not know how to weld metal.Very, very, very sloppy work.I almost puked when I saw it. I could have made him fix it, but I just wanted to get the heck outta there.Never again !!I paid another shop to do it right. 😢

My daughter even drives 45 minutes from the north suburbs to come to this Midas! I feel they are ALWAYS fair, honest, and certainly not pushy! My family wouldnt go to any other Midas!!! 5 plus!!

If I could give this negative stars, I would. I went in for an oil change, they were too busy and told me to come back. My car was giving me problems earlier that day and they had to jumpstart my battery. They told me to keep the car running and come back later. I couldnt do that since it would have been a colossal waste of my time.I went to auto zone and they told me I needed a new battery. They replaced it and my car worked fine afterwards.I returned to Midas for my oil change and informed the person at the front desk that I had my battery replaced and just needed an oil change. He looked at me like I killed his dog. He then went on to lecture me that I should have just come back and he could have done the battery change and for a lot cheaper. I told him I didnt have time to waste and got it done elsewhere. All I needed now was an oil change. He went on and on about how I messed up and paid too much for my battery. He then quoted me $30 cheaper at his shop than auto zone. I told him $30 isnt much of a difference. He said, Well, if you have $30 to throw away, I dont. He went on and on lecturing me about what a bad decision I made going to Auto Zone.I sat down and waited for my oil change feeling like I was sent to detention for doing a horrible thing.No one should have to feel this way. I went to Midas for an oil change, not a lecture. If they had time to look at my car in the first place, I wouldnt have gone elsewhere.Bottom line, horrible customer service. I called corporate and filed a complaint. I will NEVER return to this Midas and I will refer all my family and friends to another place for oil changes and auto repairs.

Went in for a new alternator and battery..Paid $700... The alternator lasted a yr and 3 months because it was a refurbished part....Why would any shop sell you something and dont tell u its not new and charge you for thr part being new....

Came for an oil change I purchased on Groupon, got told the internet isnt working! What kind of service is this?!

Long time area resident: My girlfriend went in with a Groupon 3 times and each time Eddie said there was a 3 hour wait. (They dont take reservations) Another gentlemen walked in and was told to come back in an hour by Eddie. My girlfriend asked what that was about and he laughed and and began berating are about her Groupon. Told her to get her fatass out of the shop while waving a tissue in her face. He was so aggressive that she had to call the police and file a report.EDDIE is a scumbag dirt ball who treats women with disrespect and I will tell EVERYONE I know never to come here.

Amazing deal for an oil change

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I habe a 2009 Ford Fusion. When I got my car back, it is now making a crazy noise when I drive (which was not there before). My husband called and asked them about it; they told him to have me bring it back and they would put the tires back the way they were. I took it back so they could rotate the tires back. It is now even worse and more louder than before. Sounds like my tires are going to fall off. Now I have to take ot to the mechanic to see what was done to my car. Really disappointed.
