I would have given zero stars, but it’s necessary to give a rating in order for the review to be posted. Therefore, I had to give them one star.Pilot delivered my order without notifying me, and therefore I wasn’t expecting a delivery on the day it arrived. They left the item in a precarious and unsafe position in the lobby of my building. The box was damaged and, therefore, I could not tell if pieces of the assembly hardware were missing. When I informed Pilot of the above, they took no responsibility, saying they’re not sure about the lack of advance notice of delivery and told me to contact the vendor about any missing parts. Pilot took no responsibility and washed their hands of the matter.

I had to buy all new appliances as I lost my house to a house fire, had them delivered and didnt realize that they did about $2000.00 in damage. After getting a number of different quotes for them, they said that they would only pay $500. I declined it asking if they were going to do the work themselves as I am not responsible for the remaining balance of the damage and now they will not respond to any emails. I wish the place we bought out items from would use a different delivery company or get their own delivery service.

I received a confirmation text that our delivery would take place on 3/23 between 11am-3pm. My husband had to take the day off so he could wait for the delivery. I double checked the Pilot website the day before to ensure that it was still confirmed since my husband will not be paid for his day off. The website still showed the same information, delivering 3/23 between 11am-3pm. I even tried to call over 5 times and waited for 30 minutes for someone to come on the line. I could never reach anyone. The next day he waited for 3 hours for our “confirmed delivery” I got concerned and checked the site again.....guess what it was changed to deliver on 3/25 between 3pm and 7pm. Things happen but we never received any calls, emails or text messages.....nothing!! I called and waited for over 20 minutes then finally got transferred to the Chicago terminal. Basically told me oh we had a glitch! How does this prevent you from contacting the customer? So now we have no delivery yet and my husband will miss out on two days’ pay!! If you can avoid using Pilot please do so!!!

I ordered a rug from Walmart. I called pilot freight to set up delivery as the tracking on THEIR website stated that it was on its way. The person I spoke with said that Walmart had actually never shipped my item to them and that it was Walmart’s fault. So I called Walmart and they said that the rug HAD already shipped to Pilot Freight. So basically it was a blame game on whose fault it was and then FINALLY after speaking to multiple unfriendly people at Freight services, they admitted my area rug was in fact lost, that it was their fault, and that I should probably just call Walmart for a refund. Not sure how a company can lose a 13ft rug?!?!?! They are not upfront and honest and I can’t believe the little regard they for their customers.

After so many no shows and cancellations, the two jokers who eventually showed to install our washer and dryer up did $2,000 of damage to our brand new LVP floor because they failed to install the feet on the pedestals and dragged both the washer and dryer across the floor. They eventually reimbursed us, but that was like pulling teeth too. Avoid Best Buy’s contract installer, Pilot Delivers, like the plague. So much stress and expense, I wouldn’t do it over if the items were free.

Ordered a mini bike from Walmart- Pilot delivered it upside down, leaking oil everywhere.and cracked the storage tank. Returned it to Walmart and reordered. This time the mini bike was delivered on it’s side with a dented gas tank and bent chain guard.

I ordered a big screen from Dell, who chose to use Pilot as their freight service. Dell handed it over to Pilot 10/26, with due date 11/2. When it didnt arrive, i called Pilot, they said, Well, we were over weight, so we will have to send it on a different day. Fast forward 1 week, i cant get through their unusually high call volume. This morning (11/10) i finally get through, and they tell me it was transferred to another shipper for final delivery, and that shipper would be getting in touch with me. I called that shipper right away, and that shipper said, we just received paperwork for that delivery 2 minutes ago, and im sorry, but we dont deliver in your area. They were just giving you the runaround. They do this to us a lot.

Poorest customer service ever. Was emailed about a delivery 4 days in advance. Was supposed to get text instructions on the delivery. Day of delivery; I got a call saying they were 10-15 mins away. I waited over an hour and got another call saying the same 10-15 mins. Finally they delivery, but then just stand outside waiting for a signature. Didnt even bother to deliver inside the building and complained about waiting for said signature. I live in a 2 story building; they couldnt be bothered to walk up the stairs to get a signature. Also, the drivers werent wearing masks and complaining about getting Covid. Also, they required a signature on their personal cell phone. Disgusting service and now we have to get tested for Covid. Thanks Pilot you absolute trash delivery service.

They actually arrived when they said they would, and Id give more stars for that, but the one delivery guy was incredibly rude, swearing about having to go up the grass hill after saying they could only go where there was a sidewalk. Going up the grass hill wasnt necessary; there was a sidewalk literally next to them. Then, while halfway down the walk, said we dont go inside unless you tip us! .... Ive got no words here - it was a bizarre and unpleasant experience!

Pilot was transporting a package from Dell. Sat in my local city for over 10 days prior to delivery. Called the main line multiple times and you either never get through as others note or they cant really help. Best thing is to go to their pilot delivers site, enter your shipping number and hope that it returns the error code which displays your local pilot number. This helped but Im still greatly upset that in 2020 a package can sit for 10 days without contacting the customer or let alone actually delivering it.Pilot Freight obviously put a lot of money and talent into their website, phone system recordings, and such. Unfortunately, that is just a paper tiger and the money would have been better spent on execution.

2 drivers. Dont know their names. Came to my moms apt to pick up a Futon, she gave them $20 bc she didnt have small currency. I saw them taking down the item by the door when i went to her house,i told her she should wait for me to tip them bc she didnt have small change. After they took her money which i didnt know about it,they also took my $10 and didnt say that my mom already gave them $20. After they left,my mom told me & i got upset for her to give them too much & for them to b dishonor. I called the # when one of them called me on the way there,he said they were out if area& will come back to return my moms money but they never contacted me. I texted. No respond. I called. Phone went to voicemail. They ignored the text& call. They got the money which i dont think they deserved bc the Futon is not heavy for us to spend $30 for tip. I wanted to say something but i guess they needed that money more than my mom. Now Walmart said my item lost by Pilot during the Transaction bc i asked where is my refund? Now tomorrow i have to make a conference call so Walmart can find out whats going on??? Never go through this Company again.

Waiting for my package for 3 weeks can’t get of hold off any one was on the phone for 2 ours and it just hung up on me. DO NOT USE THEM PLEASE DON’T USE THEM SAVE YOUR SELF A HEADACHE !!!!!

One star for the nice customer service people. Mypackage was in transit for over a month, in that time they scheduled and missed 3 drop off appointments with me and lost my package several times. If I hadnt called about 15 times I doubt it ever would have gotten here. When it finally DID arrive the box was damaged and I never got my promised call 30 minutes before their arrival. I wouldnt recommend pilot to anyone and I will not order online with world market again if this is who they choose to work with.

Terrible for residential deliveries. Made two appointments, had to stay at home waiting for freight to arrive on two day, only to be told that it wont be and I will have to take another day to finally receive my shipment. Do not use.

I ordered a TV and it was shipped via Pilot Freight Services. I had never heard of them before so I did a quick Google search and found very poor reviews. This made me nervous, but my experience ended up being five star so I want to give credit.Package was shipped on a Tuesday and I was told that Pilot Freight would contact me to schedule a delivery time. By Thursday I was able to schedule a pick-up on their website for the following Thursday. On Sunday afternoon I received a call from Pilot Freight saying they would have a truck in my area on Monday and asked if someone would be available for an early delivery. They estimated mid-morning. I agreed. Monday morning around 9am I received a call from the driver saying he was enroute and would arrive in 30 minutes. He was here in 30 minutes, dropped the TV, and was on his way. Very pleased with the delivery. Packaging and TV were in tip-top shape.

My order arrived late, and damaged. Replacement item was unfortunately shipped through them as well. Item is late again, now, due to a typo on their shipping label. Getting through to my local agent the morning after our second scheduled delivery date, wasnt possible. I finally got a call 7 hours later (about 2 hours before end of day) saying they can deliver my item EIGHT DAYS from now. This is expedited shipping mind you. Im canceling my order and will NOT work with them again. Ive never had such issues with any other freight company.

Unbelievable. Picked up my order on Dec 13. And finally was delivered on Jan 3. 35 mins, on hold with customer service then told good bye. Three days I stayed home waiting. Horrible place to do business with. Dicks Sporting Goods uses them. Wouldnt give you five cents for either one of them

Very slow delivery time. Order was pushed back twice, customer service reps have no idea what’s going on and just give you phone numbers to other places to get you off the line.Tracking is essentially useless, they will rarely update the tracking and when they do it is generally incorrect. Tracking will say arrived in the city it is to be delivered in and then sit there for a few days. When nothing is updated for a few days and you call in they tell you it is sitting on a dock in a completely different location!Terrible shipping company, I hope I never have an order shipped through this company again. If I could go lower than 1 star I would.

Order shipped on 12/2. Scheduled delivery for 12/9. It didnt show up. Rescheduled for 12/14 didnt show up again.Now I have to wait till 12/21 and I doubt itll show up then. Horrible costumer service. Sorry if you have to get a package through them.

Very rude on the phone. Tracking is a joke no updates for days then multiple updates in one minute with the product being all over the place. Slow shipping and must schedule a delivery.

Worst of the worst. Scheduled app for a Sunday at 1500 got there early no one in site no answer, stayed till 2100 trying to contact someone and nttn. Came back Monday at 0600 before they was open and once they open they say we will be last to unload when we was the first one there because they needed to unload all of their Monday trucks first before we got unloaded. we was a Sunday truck (yet they Sunday guy never showed up) never delivering again to them took them 5hrs to unload us.
