I’m not one to write negative reviews but unfortunately this is the second time similar event has happened here. Nice looking location but rude staff that can’t handle basic customer service. Appointment set a month ago for 3pm and then they claim they talked to me earlier today and said I said I wasn’t coming for a 3pm appointment. When I showed the screenshot of the MISSED CALL from 2:33 she then says the appointment was for 2:30pm. I have a screenshot showing the call was missed so how could they talk to me? Rather than fixing the situation the lady at the counter became defensive and took a “too bad” attitude and said I’d have to reschedule to another day.Poor customer service and terrible attitude for a place that charges double that of the competition. I don’t mind paying more for quality but I will not put up with poor customer service and still pay more. Rather than adjusting and pivoting and offering to help rectify the situation they staff wanted to instantly get an attitude and escalate a simple error or mistake. Maybe learn from the situation and call or text appointments prior to an appointment???????????
My new go-to place. I’ve been going to Sports Clips for years but when I moved further south, the locations just weren’t as good. I saw this place and decided to give it a try. Glad I did, because I had a great experience! Great hair cut, very friendly staff, you have your own space (as opposed to an open floor type of thing), and a shampoo is included in every cut. Highly recommend!
I’ve been going to MHH for a while now and have never had any problems. Today I had a rare day off so decided to treat myself to a haircut and color touch up. I went online and made an appointment for one pm and showed up at said time. When I entered one of the ladies behind the counter scowled at me which was odd but whatever, the other lady greeted me warmly and checked me in. Turns out the cranky lady was Elizabeth who would be cutting my hair. When I was called back I was asked what we were doing for the color and I told her we were going back to the light hair I had done before there, she then rudely said that “we don’t do that here anymore because it’s not worth our time, so what do you want to do” then just stood there until I was like then I guess we’re not doing color today then. To which she responded “so just a haircut then” (obviously just a haircut, it’s a barbershop-what else would there be if not color) and I answered yes. She then roughly proceeded to cut the hair after me explaining the cut. When completed she never offered a mirror or anything to inspect it; I was going to let the whole thing go but upon getting home and inspecting it, the cut is uneven and by far the worst cut I’ve ever received from MHH, hence why I decided to write this since that was just one strike too many today. I left a $1 tip (having been a server during college I know an under tip is far more insulting than a no tip to tipped workers, so it sent a message… for comparison I have always otherwise tipped $15 or so on the haircut bill of $20 here and proportionately more when getting a color), however I still might call and demand a full refund for this service as it now puts me in the position of having to set apart more time to go elsewhere to get my hair colored which coupled with the completely unacceptable service today just makes me disinclined to think it unwarranted.

I had an excellent experience at the new Mens Hair House in Oak Creek. After a few poor experiences at another nearby establishment I was excited to see the Now Open! sign at the Hair House. Upon entering I was greeted by one of the stylists (not badgered by 4 trying to get a client). She kindly welcomed me and gave a brief but helpful outline of the offerings. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the style of the establishment. The half-wall stalls made me feel like I was the center of attention instead of the bullpen style at other places. My stylist was very helpful and attentive to my vague request and did a wonderful job. I was very pleased with my experience and I am extremely happy to have access to an online appointment program. 5/5 highly recommend.
Came there the other day to the receptionist (Sydney I believe) being berated by a customer who expected to be seated right away. People need to understand that they are very busy and an appointment is recommended. Even after the fact, I was then seated by Olivia and had one of the best haircuts Ive had. She was very positive and we talked about familiar interests in music and other hobbies and she lit up. I will be coming back to visit these ladies very soon.
Not inexpensive, but the hair cut was just what I was looking for, and trimming of my full beard came out better than expected!To say nothing of the hot towel & vibrator massage of my shoulders. And my barber, Geni, was very personable & pleasant.
Go there to get my haircut, went theres as walk in. They told me they didnt have anything for an HR, so I said okay came back an hour later still had to wait. Go to get my hair cut the lady asked how I wanted it, I said bald no hair. She then tell me that I should come in and have it shaved I said ya thats what I wanted. She ask the manager then come back and says we have no time. Well I ended up paying for a haircut that I didnt ask for went home and shaved my head my self after paying for a haircut. Guess I wont be going back would not recommend this place to anyone.
Called the day before to schedule an appointment for my son. The person I spoke to scheduled him for 9:00am. We get there the next day only to find out he was NEVER scheduled. The receptionist says she can have Holly cut his hair. WORST mistake ever! Holly asked how I wanted my sons haircut. ( My son has curly hair and his hair length is above the shoulders) I specifically tell her to trim his hair and to cut his bangs up to his eyebrows. Holly begins to cut his bangs only to cut almost to the root way above his forehead. Completely NOT what I asked for. I address this to her and she says “ it’s because he has curly hair” that is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I go to the receptionist to pay for “THE WORST HAIRCUT OF THE CENTURY” and she charged 17.95! I didn’t say a word but as I’m looking for my money she says “You know what? It’ll be $5.00.” The receptionist even recognized the haircut is HORRIBLE! She was kind enough to give me a Free haircut coupon but honestly I don’t think I will go back to this establishment. If you go to this place DO NOT SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH HOLLY!
I have been here a few times in the past and had pretty good service but this time... Not the case. I had Neregin, she seemed rushed and impatient, scratched my head pretty bad multiple times with how hard she was pressing, did not ask how I wanted the front lined up like most do, just went ahead and cut big sharp corners in my hair. shampooing my hair was so over fast it lasted maybe 60 seconds at most, and he left so much hair all over my face Im glad I saw the mirror in my truck before I went anywhere else. Will not be going back.
Came in at 12:18, stylists all appeared to not have a customer in the seat. I was told the earliest I could get a beard trim (15 minute) was 1:00. I understand that appointments come first, but there were literally NO CUSTOMERS in the building, and I can’t get seated for the absolute quickest service you offer.

Never again! The first time, I was a walk in. They told me it was an hour wait, which I thought was reasonable. I went and did some shopping and came back an hour later, only to wait for another hour. Today, I called around noon, soonest appointment was at 2:30. When I arrived, I told the stylist I also was interested in a shave, and she condescendingly stated Im not going to have time for that I replied that I was never offered a shave....but since I wasnt, I figured they would have the time.Needless to say, Im done being treated like a second rate citizen and will continue to drive PAST the mens hair house to go to lady Janes!!! Although the distance is double, Id rather receive good service!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been going to the Oak Creek Men’s Hair House for at least a year. Keep in mind you can choose who you’d like to have cut your hair. If you’re displeased then speak up about it. Me personally I’ve stuck with Cindy, because she gets me. Always knows how much to cut every single time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else ever again.
I walked in this business as a walk-in 30 minutes before closing time. There was not a single person waiting in the lobby for service.There were 3 staff members there chatting with each other, one of which got up from her chair to greet me just to be told that they were booked solid for the night and would not have time to cut my hair. If they are content in life with whatever money they are making and do not have the ambition or desire to make more that is their personal business, however considering Mens hair house is not their business as the owner I would be concerned. I am self employed as is my wife, we would be extremely disappointed to know our employees were Turning away paying customers without justifiable reasoning. Needless to say I will not be back.
First time coming to the Mens Hair House in Oak Creek and it was very nice. The people are very welcoming and greeted me as I walked in. Felt very welcomed. Rebecca was great! It was really nice to talk to her and was very friendly. She did a great job cutting my hair. I would recommend anyone to get their haircut here. The establishment is very clean and spacious. 5 star all the way around!
Been there twice so far, great place, great atmosphere, hot towel, shoulder massage. I wish they would keep in the system previous hair cut info do you don’t have to explain again what you want. Other then that it’s great!
I can only say amazing things about the Oak Creek location. Walking in I was impressed with the warm and friendly environment. The staff was very welcoming and made sure to get me taken care of right away. I had Rebecca cut and style my hair and it was by far the best cut I ever had. She was very easy to talk to and a lot of fun; and I can not say enough about the haircut I received. I have already recommended quite a few people so I would highly recommend this place and ask for Rebecca!!
Beware! Very rude employees. If you are even a couple minutes late, including giving them a call to let them know that traffic slow you down you can kiss your appointment goodbye either that or pay full price and forgo your hair wash if you’re lucky. Then (if I’m not mistaken her name is Lauren) proceeds to have an attitude the entire time arguing with me about my sons head Whether or not he has a cowlick, making my sons hair look atrocious. 2 people walked in the entire time we were there... they claimed they were booked all day. It has now been over half an hour and no one else has walked in.... we are sitting at the restaurant next door for lunch and we just take our business back to the barbershop. I advise anyone else to do the same.

Let it be noted I strongly dislike getting my haircut.That being said this was the best hair cut of my life hands down. I can remember everyone who cut my hair since I was little and some dude name Ron cut my hair 30 something years ago. Usually haircuts for me are hit or miss. But this lady (I do apologize I forgot her name it started with an N) was wonderful. It was the most through and professional cut I have got in a long time. I went home and took pictures of it cause I was so excited Haha. I got my haircut twice now once by Elizabeth and another with their Assistant Manager Teri. Both were super nice and easy to talk to and ask you before they do anything if its ok. They care about water temp and towel temp too. All the negative reviews are people who did not schedule a appointment. I suggest you schedule a appointment before hand so you can get full undivided attention. AND SHOW UP ON TIME, THEY ARE BUSY! Not that walk-ins dont but they are rushed to finish you in between appointments if you are a walk in. I will continue to get my haircut at this place. Thanks!
Lauren sucks. Made my sons hair crooked and blamed it on the angle he was looking. I didn’t even bother arguing, I just went home and laughed and realized how dumb she was. Tammy was just standing by the register the entire time staring at me and “more than likely” gossiping about me to the receptionist. Wow was she unprofessional. She was at the forefront of this business and you come off like that at customers; u really think they’ll be back?
Husband called this morning, made a 5:30 appointment for today. Walking out now at 525 as the lady never put him down, and the soonest they can do is 730!!!! Waist of time and gas, and they lost a customer for good. Didnt even apologize... Acted stupid, asking who we talked to, (didnt think we needed to remeber names of who we make appointment with) saying she was taking calls all day. Just no customer service and lack of empathy.
Usually I am not the type to write reviews. However, thanks to my less than satisfactory haircut provided by Lauran, here I am.The experience started off with Lauran asking the receptionist how late I was (3 minutes to be exact), it was only passive aggressively downhill from there. I asked for a messy faux hawk, just not super pointed. That request about exploded her brain. She responded with “So you don’t want a faux hawk”. I would like to recommend she google “Messy Fauxhawk” and look at the first few images.Anyways, after that disagreement there were two issues. 1: She spun the chair, and did not walk around. I could argue that’s efficient, so no big deal there. 2: She used clippers to cut the top of my hair. This left me with an un-messy, rushed, very even great clips-esque haircut.In short, I cannot believe I paid for that haircut let alone tipped $2. I have had many good haircuts at this location, and I will come back to this establishment but never to Lauran. This is the reason for one star: Good business, horrible stylist.Styslists I would recommend: Nikki and Teri.

I wanted to like this place, but I found it incredibly disappointing. I had received a coupon to try it, and I dont think Ill be returning.Firstly, the woman who cut my hair didnt really have much of a personality and I just kind of sat there in awkward silence, and the actual haircut wasnt particularly the highest quality.Secondly, I find it incredibly frustrating and irritating when businesses do not accept American Express. I shouldnt have to transfer money from my bill payment account to my debit card because they do not accept my credit card. Even more frustrating was that their wifi was incredibly slow, so it took forever to transfer money on my phone.Lastly, I was the only one in the store on Tuesday at 5:00 pm, and I got the impression from the staff that they would rather just hang out and do nothing than service a customer. This place had an attitude, and I didnt like it. I honestly dont think its any better quality than any other haircut chain.

Please countinue reading my experience from a hard critic.I have enjoyed many a haircut over my years, mainly from my childhood barber who to this day still cuts my hair time to time throughout the year. I have also had the inconvience of a bad haircut from franchise salons/barber.Now the men’s hair house is superb. The prices are extremely reasonable for everything you get.If you are an adult, you should be aware for best results make an appointment. I am positive that walk-in service will be a wait. ALWAYS make an appointment. They do not take American Express, what a shame, go to an atm and pull $40.00 dollars out.The barbers/stylists are there to help. So work with them. The job is to cut hair, if you want to be silent then they have to be silent. They are there to help YOU so work with them and tell them what you want and how you want it. Work with them throughout the entire haircut, otherwise you will leave with an average haircut.They did my hair and beard, they shampooed and conditioned my hair while giving a hot towel treatment. Then I received a massage.There were two employees working and it’s a Tuesday morning, no one else there. So, I was able to be seen immeadiately. I was impressed with the individual televisions in each cubicle, I was impressed with the education I received in beard care, there were a few things I wanted in my haircut and my stylist was more than accommodating.If you want to just get a haircut and leave 15 minutes later after forced small talk this is not the place for you. You want a full immersive experience than you may have found your new hair maintenance establishment.For a haircut and a beard trim and shape I paid $28 dollars. I was tended to for about an hour. For the price and the quality of attention i give my seal of approval with two thumbs up and ten stars If I could. I will be returning and reccomending this to all my buddies!!***important note*** these are professionals they are there to help and provide you a valuable service. You get out what you put in. Work with these dedicated individuals. If you don’t you have no right to post poor reviews if you didn’t follow appointment edicate.

Took my son in. We didnt have an appt, d idnt know we needed one. Two barbers sitting, 1 other barber with a client. We were told the two sitting barbers had appts coming in. We waited 20 min, we were taken by the barber who was busy when we walked in. The 2 barbers waiting for appts. were still waiting. Smh. I should have just walked out.The service was okay, the cut was okay. Nothing special to bring me back in to be ignored again.

My friend keeps going to get his hair cut and he keeps ending up with Cindy the hairdresser. Unfortunately, Cindy does not know how to cut a straight line on someones bangs...multiple times. When asked to fix it she blamed it on a shadow. He will not be going back to Cindy anymore.
