Stramowski has ALWAYS done an excellent job for my family!!! They are incredibly professional. What particularly struck me was how they were very careful to explain exactly what was needed, why, and what were our options. Our new furnace also required electrical upgrades and they seamlessly handled the quote/work with an excellent electrician, making it super easy for us. They truly are worth every penny!

Set up an appointment last week for a consultation this past Tuesday. The representative was a no call no show. We called them to find the rep double booked themselves. Arranged for them to come the following day, again, no call no show.I called to have a refund issued and was told their “system doesn’t allow that” and they would send me a check. As their previous service has proven unreliable I told them that was unacceptable, and I would issue a chargeback with my credit card company. Who can take a credit card payment but not refund one? Ridiculous.Terrible service and attention to a customer.

Technician called to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time.Spent almost an hour going over A/C and Heating system. Showed me a part that was starting to fail on A/C and replaced it to avoid an emergency call at a later date. He also cleaned coils on A/C so it runs quietly and efficiently. Overall, the technician was very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. I would definitely recommendStramowski Heating.

The tech showed up and installed a new zoning system and dampers due to failure of our old system. They put drop cloths down over our machines, kept everything super clean and were quick. The workmanship was superior, I would recommend using Stramowski.

Working with Stramowski is great! We are on their annual maintenance plan where they contact us to schedule PM service on our furnace and ac. This is great because with busy schedules, we tend to forget. The technicians are experienced. We could not be happier. We are fairly new customers of Stramowski but will be long time customers.

Contacted Stramowski at 3:00pm on a Friday with temps in the single digits and falling. We had no heat and Kim, who answered the phone, was very kind and reassuring. She said a technician would call when on his way and it would be no later than 6:00 pm. The tech came at 4:30, he was friendly, polite, and got right to work. He had our furnace fixed and was out the door by 6:00pm! Could not be happier with the friendly and competent service we received.

Terrible, horrible experience. Their technician broke part of my furnace when they were in my home for just a maintenance call and now I am begging the owner to come fix it and he is blowing me off saying it is not their responsibility. Very unprofessional experience, stay far away from this place with their untrained staff and lack of service.

Beware of this company! On their website they claim that there is no extra charge for work on weekends or holidays. However, this was not the case. They charge you a $139 fee just to diagnose the problem and then charge you an outrageous price to fix it. We were charged $245 to fill our air conditioner with a pound of R22 coolant. The technician took 30 minutes to complete the job. The cost of R22 coolant is $50 per pound. So why the outrageous price!? We were told by the technician to contact the owner with our concerns. We contacted him twice by phone and once by email and received no response. Stramowski Heating will not be in business long if they continue to be dishonest and not address customer concerns. I will never do business with them again. Very poor customer service!

Stramowski has THE BEST customer service I have ever experienced. Jim is down to earth and genuinely wants to help. We needed a quick turnaround due to our home closing date being moved up. We were having our HVAC replaced the very next day. He gave us a breakdown on pricing, and explained everything so that we understood. Our furnace would have leaked carbon monoxide come this winter if it weren’t for Stramowski. We will use them for every HVAC service and recommend to all friends and family.

11:17am update...the VP is coming to check to make sure everything is okay with no charge. I appreciate the fast follow up to this. I dont want anyone to have a bad review...but this was pretty serious, and I felt it warranted saying something. I appreciate that he called my husband directly.This company was responsive, which was great. They told us that we had a leak in our old heater and that the crack was large, and we needed to make sure it got replaced. They replaced it quickly and with that, we were very happy.Oddly, our dog cooper all of a sudden became ill, where he couldnt walk, wouldnt eat, and was very very lethargic and dizzy. When cooper is taken outside, he doesnt want to come back in the house, and hes walking around okay when hes outside. We took him to the vet, and while he is old and has some other issues, we were shocked that these symptoms came on all of a sudden.Yesterday, I became so dizzy that I almost fell down the stairs, and twice almost fell in the bathroom. I took a meclazine which I havent taken in years and laid down. That was the only thing that helped the dizziness, but I remained a little sick and tired the entire day. This morning, our Beagle went outside, came inside and could not walk. He will not eat, and his eyes are shifting from side to side. He is now at the vet ER.The only thing that has changed is that we had this heater installed. I am not saying that Stramowsk is the cause, but to be EXTRA cautious, we called them to see if they could do a check to make sure our air quality is okay, and that there isnt a leak with our heater. They told us they may have to charge us for the visit. I told my husband if they were going to do that, we would call the health department to come and check. That is just something, when something could potentially be a serious health hazard, that should NEVER even be said that you would charge for.Installation great, but follow up...not so much. WIth COVID and money being as tight as it is, to charge for something like this is just not cool.

Had Stramowski install a new AC unit a few weeks ago. Techs did a nice job like always but the unit installed was a different brand than what my sales rep told me I was getting. It was determined to be a misunderstanding and the units are very similar although one is made in USA and the other in Mexico. They ignored my requests for a price adjustment however my sales rep offered to have the more expensive unit I thought I was buying installed but i would not be able to get the same warranty which was equally frustrating. I left several messages with the manager that were never returned. Their Lennox rep called me and got me comfortable with the package I received which helped but this snafu left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I’m happy so far with the unit I received but I feel like I was mislead by the sales rep and overpaid. Not sure if I will use them next time. Their techs are great but the management response (lack of) after they messed up is very disappointing.

Unit is loud. Makes a loud bang after shutting downWorkers left an unprofessional mess. While bringing unit in they went forward in with the dolly instead of backing it in so they damaged the door jam. They proceeded to nail it back together but it should have been replaced and or painted. Also left the siding a mess where the pipes come out the side of the house. I may have given them two stars had it been reasonable to post this review. Unbelievable! Should not be such a process.

I fell that the price I paid for their service was very reasonable and their quality of work was very good. There has only been I feel times where I have had questions and each and every time Stramowskis responsiveness has been excellent.

I contacted this firm after watching their TV commercials advertising their yearly maintenance program. They sent a salesman, who quoted me a price of $5300 to replace my furnace with a larger, no-name furnace. Thats just too high for a straight replacement, especially with a generic furnace...

The repairman that showed up was early. He knew exactly what the issue was and only took 20 minutes to get the heat working in the home. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs there furnace looked at! Will use again in spring when it time to get the air conditioning ready for summer.

Technicians are solid, helpful, friendly and competent. Unfortunately the receptionist/scheduler was completely unprofessional and rude. Would not listen to what I was calling for and hung up on me. I could not believe it. I can’t remember the last time I had dealt with such a poor communicator and incompetent customer service representative.

My heat went out in the morning and thank God they managed to get someone out within a few hours.. the technicians are always informative and super nice... I have always used them for many years.. they have installed both new heating and air in my house and have been satisfied with them and will continue to use them and will always recommend them...

Ive dealt with Stramowski in mostly emergency heating situations. They have been courteous, helpful, and most importantly QUICK, even going above and beyond to help ensure that people living in the home had heat during extreme cold, even on one occasion, New Years Eve when they had already sent most employees home! I recommend them to everyone. Ive never had such good service and will go with them whenever it is feasible.

I made an appointment early in morning with them. And he had called 5 minutes before he was suppose to show up to cancel. I think this was really rude. Not very professional. I would not recommend this company.

I had them come by for boiler tune up and needed a 7.6 gallon over flow swapped. They quoted me $700. With in minutes I had it ordered for $56+shipping. Will never call these crooks again!

Technician came out within 30 minutes of my call, inspected my furnace, serviced what needed to be done and explained in detail the overall condition of my furnace and told me what I might expect in the future. I definitely will continue to use Stramowski in the future.

We have used Stramowski Heating for replacing our steam boiler and attic air handler, and have been very pleased with the results. Their experience with steam systems is important, and puts them in select company for the Milwaukee area. When replacing our boiler, we received a couple of quotes that were lower than Stramowski, but were nowhere near as comprehensive in considering the various factors and enhancements that optimized our system. Also, when we had a couple issues arise after the initial installation, theyve promptly come out to diagnose and then remedy these issues without extra charges. Ive been impressed with the technicians and installers weve had out to the house. They dont cut corners, and they go the extra mile to make sure your system runs well. Our experience with the air handler was similarly positive. In short, Id highly recommend you consider Stramowski for your heating and cooling needs. Based on our experience, I would put them at the top of the list if you have a steam heat system.

Regarding Stramowski Heating :Very, very disgusted with this company. My oxygen dependent mom on a fixed income called for a furnace repair and was charged $159.95 for a consultation, only to be told they wouldn’t touch her furnace because of its age. At no point did anyone ask her, before the technician came out, how old her furnace was. If this is a company policy, one would think you would ask the age of the furnace before wasting the time to come out and not even look at it. The fact that you did not, that you were happy to take her money for NOTHING, shows that this was a total cash grab. That’s sickening.Now she is stuck with a furnace that may or may not last the weekend, possibly having to call - and pay - someone else at a higher weekend rate because of your blatantly corrupt business practices.You should be ashamed of yourselves.I wouldn’t use nor recommend your services to anyone, even if I were freezing to death.

Baught a new furnace and a.c. through stramoski. Both are working and running great. Been working with stramoski for 6 years now getting tune ups.

A couple techs arrived. Did detailed and extensive check of A/C system. More than other companies have done. Explained as they went along too. Spent considerable amount of time, again compared to previous tune ups. Solved a couple issues and offered reasonable suggestions to achieve maximum cooling with our system. No pressure throughout visit. Good cleanup and we’re impressed with results. Went on reminder/alert list for heating and cooling.

Weve been going with Stramowski for a while. They provide great service. They are always knowledgeable and I never feel like Im being ripped off like I have in the past with some other companies. They dont charge more for weekends or emergency calls either which I love. Theyre not over priced either. I highly recommend this company.

When my old HVAC company abandoned me, Stramowski came to save the day! My first interaction with this company was very positive, and I will continue to conduct business with them in the future. First off, they were very friendly and accommodating when setting up a time to provide a quotation on a new AC unit. Having the summer heat, a broken AC unit, an 8 month old and a pregnant wife, it was important for me to get this fixed quickly, and Stramowski came to quote me within 24 hours. The gentleman who quoted me did so professionally, and answered all of my many questions. I never felt like I was being misled or up-sold, as I have experienced with other companies. The price was just right too! The installation team was also prompt and did the job with quality. They answered all of my questions and cleaned up the place to be better than when they found it.Thank you Stramowski!

I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my heating needs

We spent several weeks going over estimates for a furnace and AC install and Stramowski Heating offered the best deal and warranty for the type of equipment we were looking for. Brian did a great job going over all the details and options and the installers did the work in a very clean and efficient manner. I was kept well informed of what was occurring during the install and also what the best options were.

Im giving 5 stars for the integrity the manager, Phil, showed my wife and I when he replied back to our email raising concerns of a visit we had when our furnace decided not to start consistently. The technician that came will not be named as thats not the principle of this review but I think he mightve been rushed as he mentioned he had three (3) other jobs to get to and it was brutally cold out. Maybe he was also inexperienced with a Nest thermostat. I dont know. I am not going to rip this organization like other reviewers did but Id rather be honest and forthright. The service we received was poor at best but I clearly see the management in place at Stramowski takes things extremely seriously and I believe every word he stated in his email. Some outfits wont care, let alone reply....a refund from most? Yeah...right....Im not saying Im done with this company, as Im all about second chances but for now, Ill go elsewhere. The managers response kept a possible client from going out the door for good. Phil clearly understands whats most important to clients and that is integrity and quality. I would recommend them but if your experience doesnt reach your expectations or you think something is off, be professional and contact the company. I did and Im glad I did. I have consistently been pleased with your service. Recently I needed some additional work after Anthony who had been called here on a Sunday due to some flooding problems into the condo below me looked everything over and then told me how the problem could be avoided in the future. My only question is why no one had mentioned the past when the same type problem had occurred with the air conditioner. That time it did not cause flooding but the water did damage the ceiling of the unit below us. We just did not know it until it happened again.I am so grateful that he had the expertise to see what was going on and tell me how to fix it. It was expensive but very worth the cost for the peace of mind. I suggest you discuss it with him and also train all your technicians to be aware of the drain pipes coming out of air conditoners. Are they slanted down to help gravity or installed parallel which allows the condenser to drain onto the floor. I know I am oversimplifying but think it is so important for all upper condo owners to be made aware of.Thanks for this opportunity.
