I’m super happy with everything I got done in this salon and the spa as well, my to got person for coloring is Laurie and for haircuts and styling Rosa, I highly recommend this place and believe me you will never regret it! I’ve been coming here for years! Staff is so friendly and always do an amazing job! Elle is my go to person for hair color! Morgan, Casey, Rosa, and Shannon have cut and/or styled my hair and they are all amazing! The massages are great as well!!

I absolutely LOVE everything about Melandre! I always go to Elle for my color/balayage and Melissa for my cut and they never disappoint! Im someone who has always been super picky about my hair and I can honestly say that I have been 100% in love with my hair every time that Ive gone here! The experience is always relaxing, the salon is spotless and everyone is so sweet. No matter who you go to, you will have an incredible experience and leave feeling a million times better than when you walked in. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself with a day at Melandre!

I never write reviews, but really wanted to write one for this place. So Im extremely picky with my hair. Ive gotten it bleach somewhere else before and hated it. Then had Laurie do it and never switched to anyone else. Only trust her to color my hair. Love and always does what I ask for. Shes always the sweetest! Only problem is that it is pricey for me.

Had a prenatal massage twice by Fran and I would highly recommend her. She’s sweet, great energy, and really knows what she’s doing !

Ive been a long time client of this salon. The staff and stylists are friendly, professional and provide excellent customer service. The salon itself is stunning and visually appealing. Such a Beautiful salon, staff is so welcoming and professional. I was given a soothing, great wash by Shelby & then a fabulous cut by Melissa. I have very curly long hair, before I was washed Melissa brought me over to her chair and discussed my hair texture, type of cut I was looking for and made some great recommendations. She gave me a beautiful cut and blow out. She was very friendly and took her time with my hair. Im very pleased and will definitely go back and continue with Melissa. Great ambiance, prices & staff!!

Love this place. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. I see Elle and Stephanie for color and couldnt be happier with the results.They just remodeled too so its very modern looking.They also have a spa upstairs although I havent tried it yet.

Nice clean and relaxing salon. Service is great. I can’t say enough about Lisa in nails, Lyka in the Spa (not sure if spelling her name correctly, apologize if wrong) Both these women take their jobs very seriously, very knowledgeable, and by far go out of their way to make sure you are leaving happy and satisfied. Great asset to the Salon. Also had coloring done by Ray who also falls under the same category.

Johnathon is my best change for 2019. My hair color is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I’m So happy and blond...to have more fun LOL. Finding someone that loves what they do and puts their heart into it means you’re going to look fabulous 🥰

It took me a long time to find a salon I liked in my area but hands down Melandre’s is the best. Stephanie and Rosa are amazing and I could not imagine going anywhere else.

I’ve been coming to Melandre for years and I don’t think there’s a place around this area that can compare to it. Everyone is profesional and efficient, from the front desk to the beautiful spa upstairs. Elle does a fantastic job coloring my hair and I can’t believe the amazing facial I just got from Lauren. It was my first time with her and I was hooked. Stephanie and Natalie could not be nicer and accommodating. They are the best! Rosa will give you a great haircut and you can also buy really good hair products. Wether you are looking for a great cut, freshen up your hair color or pamper yourself on the beautiful spa, Melandre is worth every penny! No need to go to NYC to get high quality City services!

As always a Great place. Ray the colorist is excellent. The stylists are fantastic. The front desk staff is knowledgable and very efficient. The salon has a wonderful selection of hair products too, so you know you are always treating your hair right.

I have been coming to this spot for years. I love everyone there. Most of all I love Fran. She is AMAZING. She gives the most incredible massages. I feel that she is a natural healer and just knows what she is doing. I highly recommend her for your spa services.

I had a prenatal massage with master masseuse Fran and it was wonderful. She listened to what I needed and provided an atmosphere that was welcoming and relaxing. The spa was clean and well-kept and its employees were professional and courteous - I would definitely recommend the spa to others.

I went in for a FULL head of highlights. Got a whole different service & she didnt even give me highlights on the lower back of my hair. My total was over $300. I was so upset but i had to leave to pick up my child from school. When i went back the next day they added the highlights that were missing but it resulted in uneven hair colors. Now i have to cover my hair with a hat bc of the unhappy results. ✊

Excellent salon with great service, very professional, great hair products and very talented stylists and color experts. All of this,with a make up counter, nail salon, and full service spa! Great attitudes and very friendly!!!! Very reasonably priced for all you get!

I went to Melandre Hair Color and Design on April 18th. I went for a facial. It was great. It felt so good on my face. My blackheads were removed for the first time in years. My face felt smooth and refreshed for several days afterward. I also had a fifteen minute foot massage which felt great and eased my tired feet.

I have been getting my haircut here for about 15 years. Everyone that works at the salon and spa are professional. All staff are well qualified and experienced. The spa atmosphere is truly relaxing, the facials and massages are second to none!

I have been going to Melandres for 10+ years and couldnt be happier with the service. From color to cut to blow out, I trust all of the employees with my hair. I am never disappointed. I highly recommend Melandres. I am always more than pleased when I leave and I also find it to be an enjoyable place to be. Everyone is so friendly and cares about your needs. Dont hesitate, their the best!

Not at all impressed with my hair cut with Loni. I told her that everyone wants to texturize the hell out of my hair - a technique that is not good for my hair. She then proceeds to point, or notch, cut it. Evidently shes not aware that is an actual texturizing technique. I held my breath. And for good reason. It came out terrible. She cut it uneven on top of that. For $40 this would be a terrible hair cut. For $70 its disgusting. Im not sure what the level of competency is at this salon - but if the rest of them are like her - the only thing they know how to do well is charge.

Always too notch customer service, my preference is Ellie for color and Lori D styling, but everyone is professional and gifted in their craft. Always a wonderful experience.

I go to Teresa Nydam for hair color and styling. I cannot say enogh about her expertise, professionalism and warmth. She has great ideas about what I should do with my hair but she is also willing to listen to my ideas and preferences. Together we come up with great hair color and a hair style I lovel.The salon is busy but quiet and serene - oh and Alex does a fabulous shampoo, makes your scalp tingle!

I wish I could give this place a negative review because it doesnt even deserve one star. I had a HORRIBLE experience the owner is a very rude person, they use the Groupon just to bring you so they can add more services and charge you a lot of money for it.I will never go back to that place again because i was very mistreated by the owner. I paid $100 +$59 that I paid Groupon but the owner asked me for more money and when i refuse to pay the extra $45 she asked for she said that I embarrassed her and told me OK just pay the $100 and leave.I have been to many hairdressers over the years and this without a doubt is the WORST and most un-enjoyable experience I have ever had in my life.My advice to others is that if you are looking for a high end salon experience please go somewhere else.
