I used to love this nail salon. Since reopening after the pandemic, my powder SNS chips within a few days. I’ve told the ladies there this shouldn’t be happening and I was told it’s my fault that my nails are too weak. I’m a long time customer too. I gave them several chances but this is the last straw. I believe the products are old and they rush. I’ll be going to a new nail salon.

I was looking for a nail salon that was open on a Sunday and found Diva Nails on Google. Made an appt for the same day and had a wonderful experience. The salon is beautifully decorated to create a zen experience and manager Amy and her staff are very nice. They moved around quickly to accommodate everyone and got me in and out for my gel manicure quickly, while maintaining quality work, which is exactly what I look for in a nail salon as to not waste my entire day doing my nails. Will def be back!

Diva nails - everyone is so polite and customer service oriented! The establishment is very clean and I feel totally safe here and they take all safety precautions.They always have the latest trends with new techniques and I’m always impressed!Great job Diva Nails !

I had been coming to this salon for a couple of years, and only once I was not able to keep my appointment due to a situation with my tire, and forgot to call. The manager, while taking care of my manicure, reminded me to please keep the appointment next time. I apologized and said that I’d come later for a pedicure with my daughter and left a legitimate appointment.I feel very dissappointed because as a way to get back at me, the manager asked that I pay for the pedicure for both my daughter and I in advance. I understood and did so, after all she is looking after her business. But the terrible service is to come.What I didn’t appreciate is that upon my arrival, I felt targeted by the manager because I was asked to sit in an uncomfortable chair to “soak the gel out of your feet,” thus confusing her employee who had not had a customer in an uncomfortable position like this. When a pedicure chair was made available, the employee took me kindly to the comfortable chair. But, she was reprimended by the manager who asked her to place me back to the uncomfortable chair to make room for another customer. This was very unprofessional of her.To not get her employee in trouble, I moved back from the pedicure chair to the uncomfortable seat. The Seat was placed next to a drawer with tools which employees needed and I was asked to move several times away from the drawer.I am in this position at the moment with an aching back. After this pedicure is over I will never return.

Very satisfied w there gel manicure. As I was getting up the lady said your not going to tip customer shouldn’t feel like they HAVE to tip. As I satisfied customer I should be able to recommend customers but don’t be RUDE about it

Been coming here for years, best nail service there is to offer. I’ve been to a lot of salons, and this is the only place that my gel manicures and regular pedicures don’t chip, even after a few weeks! Staff are all so friendly and never fail to make my nails look amazing. Highly recommend!

I was very unimpressed with this nail salon. When my mom and I arrived we started looking at nail colors but not more than 2 minutes we were already being rushed to sit down. The lady said “you need to sit because we have other customers coming”. If that’s the case they should schedule better. My moms pedicure was very rushed. The massage seemed like a pat on her leg and foot and they hardly spent time on her. My pedicure as well as manicure were ok but also felt rushed. They also tried to upsell me if I wanted more than 3 colors and also tried to upsell us on getting the “fasting drying” top coat that supposedly lasts longer. It was convenient to go there but the service was lacking.

So I just went here to try to take off my acrylic set before going to work. Thats all I wanted. I didnt have the time to do anything else. I had no problem with paying $20 even though thats pricey for that service but they said thats their fee. Then they said they had to charge me another $12 to do a manicure with it whether I want it or not... which I didnt. How are you telling people youre gonna charge them for something theyre not asking you far. I dont see any cosmetology rule that says must get manicure if youre taking off a set

I got my first pedicure here in a long time. Susan barely touched the bottom of my feet. The massage was also very short. Start to finish, I was done in 35 min. Very disappointing.Im updating my review as the owner of this business called me to make it right. I appreciate a businessowner who values her customers.

Becky does the BEST, long-lasting pedicures, with a foot massage that will put you to sleep right in the chair.

I have been going to Diva Nails since I moved to Nutley. They are very professional and attentive to my needs. They take the time to complete manicures and pedicures using the correct process. My nails have never been healthier and stronger. Especially with Covid, they have always taking the proper precautions and I always feel safe when I visit. Diva Nails uses quality products and definitely worth the price!

My gel nails came out nice but I ended up with a crooked nail which I mentioned to the tech but ultimately was not fixed properly. I got cut on two of my fingers that burned when she wiped them with alochol. My nails look thick because too much acrylic used, fingers felt like they were catching fire each time under the UV light (also mentioned to the nail tech) and Ive never felt it THAT hot before. I had to keep taking my hand out from under the UV light because I could not bare it more than a couple seconds. The acrylic was not drilled down as much as I think shouldve been. I am big on customer service so I will say these ladies were super sweet and so nice the entire time I was there which is why I leave a 3-star rating and still left the tech a tip. Their facility was very clean and well kept, but I will not be returning here for my fill-in.

This is my second time going and I’ve been very happy with the service provided. The place is immaculate and the 2 women that I’ve encountered have been exceptional. Today I had Becky for pedicure and gel manicure. She was very professional and friendly an did an amazing job. The last time I had Maria for a pedicure and she also was spectacular. Would definitely recommend Diva Nails

So let me tell you why this is my new nail salon. For background information, I’m part of the beauty industry myself so I know quality work when I see it. Now, let’s get into it.1. Right from the beginning when you walk in you’re greeted. There is always a girl that will have you sanitize your hands and fill out a wellness check form (because of the pandemic) and the atmosphere is relaxed even if it’s busy. No bad vibes and you can tell by decor and the items inside the place that the owner wants to invite happiness and positivity which is something I am all about. Life’s too short for a depressing atmosphere.2. I haven’t been told to wait here. At all. I make an appointment. I go in. They’re ready for me at my appointment time. I’m not late to anything so I appreciate that they’re never late for anything either. Somehow they manage to fit in walk ins as well so whoever is running the day-to-day activities is organized.3. Uniforms. All the girls here wear pink scrubs. I have never seen this done at any other nail salon but it looks professional and you can tell that everyone gets along. There are name tags and the stuff they have to perform the services— tools, etc are all properly sanitized. Metal implements are always being taken out of a UV light sanitizer box so the cleanliness of their implements and stuff is there. They also all wear gloves and wrap their pedicure basins in plastic and it all makes me so happy to see because I have been to plenty of salons where I really do wonder what their standard of cleanliness is. So it’s refreshing to go into a place and not worry about possibly getting sick or getting any infections. A+ on sanitation and cleanliness.4. Quality of work. THESE. GIRLS. ARE. BOSS! They listen. They really do. In a world where doctors, hair dressers, and nail techs often don’t hear you out, this is so wonderful to experience. I want my nails done in a specific way bc my natural nails aren’t very thick or strong and they were able to achieve that. I don’t ever have pain during a service. They never cut your cuticle too short or file too deep or ANYTHING like that. I have never been to a nail salon where my nails haven’t burned while doing a UV gel fill. Never. This was a shock to me that I wasn’t in any pain during that kind of service and has changed my mind completely on UV gel manicures.

The new owner Amy and staff are friendly and so professional. My nails always come out looking fantastic. Place is clean and appoinments are punctual. Open on Sundays is a big plus too! You wont be disappointed.

They are very nice here and the pedicures are thorough. Its hard to find good nail salons. I did have one incident here with the nail tech, she got nail polish on my sandals and tried to wipe my leather sandal with remover 😣 (hence the 4 out of 5 stars)... but it was maybe a year ago .. i think that tech nail. Lady is not there anymore. It wasnt going to make me stop coming here because they ultimately a great job.

The salon was clean but very overpriced.I walked in and asked how much was for a manicure and pedicure on a Monday which is slowest day of the week. She advised me that the only options were spa pedicure,peppermint or some other type of pedicure.I told her that my nail were gel(clear)My feet were just regular clear polish.My bill came up to $87 $55 for mani/pedi and $30 for uv gel on my fingers.I gave my credit card and before taking my card she asked if I have a cash tip!!!Very unprofessional and overpriced!!!Beware I live in the city and these prices are higher than Manhattan.I gave two stars because the person who did my feet was good but than they switched to a different technician for my hands which made the tipping go up.

Well.... never again. They don’t display prices and charge whatever they want. Read below.My sister and I have gone to this place in the past. My mother decided to go to get her nails done. My mother is elderly, limited English but enough to defend herself. She gets her nails done, gives them a gift certificate I had for $25, and the lady told her that her balance was $75. So she charged my mother $100 to get her nails done.I went to the store and question the charge. She tells me that she got gel, gel color and gel extension. So I asked her to let me see in paper or on the wall a display of prices. She had a small display on the wall with basic prices and none added to 100$. So I asked where are her prices for how much they charge for gel color, gel extension etc. she could not produce one. I asked multiple times and multiple times she said she doesn’t have one. So they took advantage of my mother and charged her whatever they wanted. They even had a deal for $60, which she didn’t even offer her. So if u go, get ur price ahead. Because it was not worth at no time 100. She returned 20 to me but even at 80, that was not worth it.

First time client... place was nice and clean. I went in for a gel manicure and idk if this is normal for this nail salon but they didn’t do the manicure portion of the service... I was filed and just had the gel applied. They didn’t push/cut cuticles, they didn’t soak in soapy water, they didn’t buff nails. Strange. It’s been 5 days since I went in and 3 nails completely chipped off

DO NOT GO!!! Please do not waste your money and time there. Staff is very rude, RACIST and they have no sense of customer service. I don’t wanna waste more time giving details but save your money and respect by not visiting this PATHETIC place.

I got acrylic tips and in less then a week 3 nails broke. Not only did the set cost me 85 dollars but the lady would constantly cut me and the actually acrylics burnt me. 100% DO NOT recommend coming to this place for Acrylic tips!!!

Workers of this salon have no clue about customer service. I did not believe the reviews and I regret, its true they are such rude and ignorant people, working with customers, providing services!!! Went to diva nails instead of my usual nail salon because it was close to my house. I’ve never experienced such unpleasant and rude people in my life. The entire time I was there they talked about how much work doing my nails were because apparently my usual place uses a different kind of gel. I called them out on their behavior and let them know I would never return to such an unprofessional establishment.

Based on when I made the appointment, the lady was very rude. One of the workers where doing my nails and didnt seem to know what she was doing. She kept messing up and having to take everything off and restart. When the lady next to us was done working on the other persons nails she helps the lady finish mine. We where there for almost two hours. I dont recommend this Diva Nails because the workers are very inpatient and just rude.

This is the worst nail place I’ve ever been to. I got gel nails there and they are supposed to last at least 2 weeks. And I am completely serious 2 nails chipped not even within 24 hours. I was very disappointed so I went back to ask if they would redo those nails, so they did so. Except, two day after that another nail chipped! I went back again for them to redo it because I payed $30 for that awful manicure. Anyway, they did them all again but the lady just kept laughing that happened and didn’t even apoligize once! Anyway, I am never going back there even if that’s the last nail place on the entire world.

Terrible service! Very rude, I have never experienced anything like this. I came and asked for oval shape nails, the woman did them square, when I asked her to correct she became irritable, ROLLED HER EYES right in front of me, then she handed me the file and said If you dont like it then do it yourself!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked to hear that, but I said if I wanted to do it myself I would not come to the nail salon, so she started rushing as if she wanted to get done with it. OMG! This is a salon where they do your nails THEIR way, not the way you ask. Then she begun speaking her language, very irritated in front of me. The worst customer service ever, stay clear of this salon. Never again

If I could choose a negative rating that would have been my choice...the salon is clean but, the staff is the worst! When they want to say something negative regarding a customer they start speaking their language which is not professional. Only the Spanish really put work in when doing feet and I bet they get paid the least. I would never return and would not recommend this salon to anyone! Their prices are also to high for all the competition in the business.

It started off well until I asked to get a clear coat for a manicure. I felt like they were very judgemental of a man getting a clear coat with a manicure. They made me feel a little uncomfortable when they started speaking their language so I wouldnt understand. I was in a rush and they had no one so I tried this place but it would be the first and last time I go here.

Im originally from Fort Lee, home of the mani-pedi. I moved to Nutley two years ago and was on the hunt for a nail salon close by. I love Diva Nails! It is by far the most relaxing atmosphere, things are clean, the place is big with new equipment, prices are reasonable, there is tons of FREE PARKING in a PARKING LOT, and Ive never left there unhappy. Im 27, I work hard, and the last thing I want is a bad nail job on top of a cramp nail salon where I have to search for parking (like every nail salon I tried on Franklin Ave.). You Nutley women are nuts, this salon is by far the best for the money, skill, and convenience. -Sophia
