I was not present at the hookup they towed my bass boat and they damaged my boat buckles, when I first called I was told I had to leave a message I believe a week went by no return phone call. I called back and the lady told me to send pictures and someone would get back to me of course no one called or emailed me back. I cannot recommend this place so be weary and be present! Film them loading you up!

Dropped my car off to get an exhaust manifold swapped out and my wideband wired to read for datalogging (it read correctly), along with an axle seal. Pick my car up, the side they did the seal on had the brakes seize, so I had to pay for that; and my timing belt was rubbing against the timing cover (wasnt doing either before I dropped it off).Drop it back off, pay for the brake components. Pick it back up and throw P0171 and P0517, lean condition and high voltage. Im willing to bet my wideband isnt wired correctly now and shorting (on top of reading 10:1 afr in any condition that isnt wide open), causing the P0517, and that my o2 sensors arent in the correct bungs.Im tired of paying for things to get fixed that worked before I dropped the car off.TL;DR: Car was fine, brought it in for maintenance and a manifold swap, got it back with broken brakes. Brought it back to get fixed, had to pay for it, and recieved it with a broken AFR gauge, stuttering motor, and a check engine light. STAY AWAY.EDIT: Someone called and asked me to bring the car back to make it right. I declined since the car only got worse every single time it went there.Edit 2: its been 145 days since they worked on my car. Im still finding things they messed up, broke, or stole off my car.

When to find out whats a loud clunk was in my front end they took it downstairs at 8 8:30 I was told there was no loose parts but they could fix the sway bar bushing while I waited text service instead of having to come back with another date travel time and all really great people

I was told I needed brakes and rotors and I had a light on for abs by my dealership. But I had chosen to have Kleemann do work on my car because they were much more reasonable. I did not need brakes or rotors!! My ABS light was on because it was broken, not because the light is know for coming on all the time.So thank you Kleemann Service center for being honest and trustworthy, finding that I only needed my ABS fixed! Everything has been working fine.

Came to pay my son four wheeler

Brought my older F150 in for repairs. I was convinced that the rear leaf spring was bad and just told them to swap it for me. They diagnosed that it was actuallt the front shock mount and was able to repair quickly. I was so happy with the service I changed my upcoming gas tank work to them, and saved about 900 dollars off another local shops price. Fast, honest and affordable.

About 4 years ago my son totaled my car and it was towed to this location. I went to the location to pick up the paperwork for the registry and town taxes they said they couldn’t provide the proper paperwork needed because they didn’t have a computer system to look up for their tows that it was all paper files and would take some tome to find. So when I asked for them to get my plates they said it was already brought to a scrap yard that they “think” was in Boston. They only held the cars for 2 weeks. At this point I’m feeling like I’m in the Twilight Zone and they woman was so hard to have a conversation with I left irate. Went back to the town clerk how advised me to go back and get something on letter head even if it was hand written to “try” to prevent the excise taxes to be charged in the new quarter. It took me a few weeks to realize I should probably cancel my plates. (I’ve never been through something like this so I wasn’t even thinking of this since the plates were supposedly crushed with vehicle) Went on CT DMV to cancel plates. Low and behold I’ve been being charged with my plates being attached to some minivan in NY!!! For all kinds of tolls. It’s a nightmare going through CT and NY transit authorities to get this dismissed!! I am now in collections for tolls in another state. Because my plates were stolen and I didn’t even know until 4 years later!! Think they could have just pulled the plates off or even contacted us to tell us it would be scrapped??

Brought my sons car in for service. Normally used a shop up north but since I moved I took a chance here. I am glad I did. Fast,honest service and was a lot less than other shops. I was so impressed I now bring my entire families vehicles here for service!

Great place does quality work not to expensive. waiting area has basic cable, free coffee, tea, vending machine is a little pricey.

They like to overcharge for items you did not use. I have waited for 4 days for contact from them. guess ill write this review and contact the Uhaul company as well.Charged me for 40 miles when i used 17.They are NOT open on saturdays your lucky if they can find someone to help you out from the auto service downstairs. Do yourself a favor do not reserve from this place.

I had a very good experience with Kleemans towing and car repair service.I received a call from my son that his car broke down while at school (TRCC) in Norwich @ about 5pm. I was about 30 minutes away, so I called AAA on the way to pick him up. I have been a member for years and thought this was the prudent thing to do since it seemed he needed to be towed. I tow truck showed up to check the battery by about 6pm. I had explained to AAA that it was a new battery and was not likely the problem. A tow would require a flatbed for this type of vehicle as I also explained to AAA. The driver of the wrong tow truck who happened to be from Northeast Towing explained to me his flatbed was about 30 minutes away. So we waited another 30 minutes... After waiting another 30 minutes I called AAA again asking the status of our call to them. They explained that our flatbed was called for an accident and we would most likely have to wait another (you guessed it) 30 minutes. In all we waited for AAA to get a proper tow truck to us in downtown Norwich 3 hours (8pm) and finally called Kleemans. They were there in 15 minutes. My only regret was not calling them first. $70 tow and they did the car repair next day. Had the car back on the road within 18 hours. Fair and reasonable rates. I will not be renewing my AAA membership.Thank you Kleemans for getting us back on the road with kind and courteous service. - Bob N

Got into a car accident this morning - Kleemanns was called by the state troopers to come tow my car for me... When I got in the truck the driver said it would be $230 to have the car towed to my parents house but I was unable to get ahold of them. I am a 23 year old woman who unfortunately did not have $230 to pay the tow man. He said he would have to tow me back to the shop and I would have to pay $130 to have my car released. Meanwhile my brother called me - told me to tow it to the shop that he works at and he would pay the tow truck. Kleemanns refused to tow me there.. Saying that due to the conditions they would have to bring me back to their shop. Originally they were going to tow me to my parents house in mystic, what was the big deal to tow me to a auto body shop in mystic, right around the corner? As a young female I was very confused, upset and frankly pissed off. Thankfully I cried enough that the tow truck man dropped me off at my job before towing to his shop (in the same city). But for them to refuse to tow me where I want to go is just plain terrible business. And I doubt they are towing every car they help today back to their shop. I will be calling whoever I can n(including the state troopers office) to let them know that this tow service isnt out here helping people. They towed me to their shop so they could make money on their next tow. & So they can make money by charging me storage fees. This isnt a fair way to run a business. I told the driver this wasnt right and that im pretty sure it was against the law... his response well thats too bad.
