Very professional. Very prompt. Very knowledgeable. The gentleman came with his mask on. He showed before and afters of the inside of the chimney and it was clean as a whistle. His inspection showed that we may have to make some repairs in the future. Gave us advice on a few other things pertaining to the fireplace around the house. Overall a fantastic experience. We needed a safety inspection of the wood-burning fireplace in our new-to-us older house. Its seen a lot of neglect! Our inspector did a great job of setting expectations and explaining what our options for repairs are. He understood our priorities and calculated his estimate based on them, which we appreciated.We then did repairs to the exterior brickwork of the chimney, including replacing the crown and doing tuck pointing. The two-person crew were efficient and did a great job of letting us know where they were in the multiple-day process. Were happy with the result!

They’ve cleaned and inspected both gas and wood fireplaces for us. They know how to handle issues that come up but I never feel like they are adding services or expenses we don’t need. We needed someone to come out and inspect our chimney before getting a wood burning insert. Our technician (Vitale not sure spelled his name correctly) did a great job. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He showed pictures of the inside of the chimney and explained what he saw. He checked out boiler and hot water heater connections to make sure everything was safe. Would recommend them.

Chimney Monkey came out to remove the old clay liners and install new one on a vintage building. Their inspection found that the flues needed much more work than we thought. They completed a full repair and did amazing and impeccable work. The crew could not have been more nice (Rufino is the best!), they kept dust and mess to a minimum, cleaned up when they were finished, and got the project completed with great speed. The pricing was fair, and the company made sure it was done to perfection. We are using them again for future fireplace and chimney projects. You wont find anyone better!

My chimney was leaking condensation into my basement when the furnace was on, due to the previous owners of the home not properly sealing off the old stack pipe vent into the chimne from the original furnace of the home. This problem became worse when I had a newer more efficient furnace installed. The previous owners also used wood to put the new stack pipe in, which is combustible. Chimney Monkey came out, gave me a fair estimate, installed a chimney liner, sealed off the old stack pipe connection with concrete, and removed the wood. Good work

After searching online and reading many reviews, we hired them to install a gas fireplace unit and new fireplace doors for us.I can’t speak highly enough for them. This business is run with integrity and professionalism, which is not easy to come across these days. They took good care in our house to keep everything clean and tidy. They were prompt to follow up on all communication and went the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. I highly recommend them and will use in the future for any other chimney maintenance needed.

2 new chimney caps were replaced (see photo). Our older existing ones consisted of wire metal cages where one of the wire cage tops had come apart from the sides. Chimney monkey offered black galvanized steel or stainless steel options. I chose the stainless steel options due to longevity. They were prompt, courteous, and did an awesome job! I am happy I called them.

I have a decorative fireplace with what appears to be a gas line so I thought it could be converted into a working fireplace and I had ZERO clue how to go about doing this. The folks from Chimney Monkey were responsive to my voicemail (responded within a few hours); professional and patient on the phone (I asked many questions, potentially dumb questions); and considerate in letting me know an earlier appointment was available.The inspector walked in and in about 2 seconds knew / told me that the fireplace is not a functional one despite the gas line and what appeared to be a chimney. He could have left right there and then but he offered me options and described how some of the work can be done. He conducted himself in a professional, cordial, and informative fashion!The icing is that because of that, Chimney Monkey did not charge me the fee! This was a huge job including repairs and replacement on two fireboxes, chimney flue liners, smoke boxes, and chimney crowns, along with tuck pointing both chimneys. The team protected the interior of the house with sealed plastic “tunnels.” Each night the site was cleaned and secured. The completed job is beautiful. I highly recommend them.

We bought the house a year ago and didnt use the fireplace yet. We decided to get it inspected before first-time use. The crew of two arrived a little earlier. They had masks all the time and used disposable shoe covers inside of the house. The team identified several problems but didnt push those problems to be fixed right away, just made recommendations and offered an estimate. They ended up not doing a chimney sweep since the fireplace didnt need it. I highly recommended chimney monkey. The company representatives are very responsive; prices are similar to other places where I requested an estimate.

I called Chimney Monkey to clean and inspect my wood burning fireplace and see if my gas fireplace needed cleaning. They ended up inspecting both and determining that neither needed cleaning. The technicians came to clean and inspect my chimney. The cleaning was good and i also Tipped them 20%. When they were leaving, one of them broke the damper when closing it. They told me they were sorry and would be back with a replacement. I’ve called a few times and also emailed. They responded with “I’ll let the team know you are requesting a replacement “.... NO THEY BROKE IT!! ThIs is ridiculous. No one will call me back. Do not use them
