Very impressed with Total Air Solutions. Despite it getting to be after 6 pm, the serviceman, Jacquelin, drove from Sarasota to our place in Redington Shores to repair the A/C. Jacquelin was outstanding. Professional and friendly, he had both parts needed for the repair on his truck, and completed the service in one appointment...giving us a cool home again. Amber at the office, called me repeatedly to keep me posted on when they would arrive. Note - I called the company late morning and they had me fixed that evening. Well done!

Our two systems were old and one quit working. So I did some checking around with friends and family to decide what company to use for a new installation.After getting some estimates I decided to go with Total Air for a few reasons. First I had a neighbor give a glowing recommendation of the quality and continued service provided for his unit. Also, I really appreciated the detailed estimate that Al gave me. Technicians Bobby and Kyle arrived early, worked an 11 hour day, were professional and provided a smart, practical solution to a logistical issue. Our a/c unit stopped working on Saturday. We called Total Air Solutions and were advised that weekend calls cost more so we decided to wait until Monday. Jeff Sebastianelli my service technician was very professional and knowledgeable. The large capacitor in my outside unit went bad and had to be replaced. While he was fixing it I had him also install a current regulator (Kickstart) to hopefully prolong the life on the capacitor. Instead of drawing massive amounts of current on start up it draws maximum of 10 amps which is what the capacitor is rated at.

Returned from a month long vacation at 7 PM to find the thermostatreading 87 degrees. Immediately, I knew something was wrong and called Total Air Solutions. It was after hours, but the service rep answered and said they would contact the on-call technician. The on-call technician, Wilder, made contact and drove down from Tampa (an hours drive for him - one way), arrived at 9 PM and saw that the compressor capacitor had failed. He replaced it within a few moments and the system operated well after that. Wilder saved us from what would have been a sweltering night, if we could have even managed to sleep in an 87 degree house overnight. Wilder and Total Air Solutions hit a Grand Slam last night, thanks to their culture of customer service. I would recommend this company to anyone, anytime.

Prompt, Professional service. They were recommended by a local business that I use, so I called them and one of the owners personally stopped by and quoted me for annual maintenance service. My A/C is kept running great by the techs that service it every 6 months. The last tech (Ginny) did something to eliminate the light vibration that had been part of its operation since we bought the house 4 years ago. All of the techs are first rate.

Virginia, (Ginny) was our Service Technician today and provided excellent professional service. Amber called us from TAS office to tell us that Ginny was ahead of her schedule and could come earlier. Terrific! Ginny checked our AC system and made a detailed report. She answered my questions and even cleaned the cover of the vent for me which required a ladder! We are pleased with the service and signed up for another year of AC maintenance.

If you are thinking about getting your AC done you should absolutely consider Total Air Solutions. We recently purchased a home and needed a complete replacement of our system as it was getting old and there were some humidity issues in the home. We agreed on the system we would use and the team started the work to replace it and then we found out the previous system was was a disaster. Not installed correctly, other systems were damaged to put the ac in our home, etc. Robert, Wyon and Rob communicated with us throughout the the entire job, gave us options to install the system the right way and rolled with it to get it done right. I am very glad I had Total Air Solutions put this system in my home. I know it is done right and I know that it will last for years to come!

Our AC was making loud noises and our thermostat shut down. Kyle M came out to fix it. He was on time, very polite and fixed our problem in no time! He even went the extra step and changed out our air filter after he fixed the problem.

Stay far away from this one. Asked for a price on replacing a warrantied Carrier evaporator coil (that they originally installed in 2016) - they agreed to $350. Told that their tech would have to diagnose the issue himself, no charge. Next day he diagnosed an evaporator coil leak. Next two days I called the office multiple times to ask if the warrantied part had been ordered. Called again was told I needed to speak to Frank, the service manager, found out later he is the owner. Frank said the new price to replace the warrantied coil is $595, take it or leave it. I asked why the new price? I had spoken to Andrea all week about the issue, and nothing has changed (need warrantied evap coil installed). Frank, the owner, said he didnt care what she said, and hung up on me.Classy Frank. Thanks for wasting both of our times.

First company I called sent Service Tech who took pictures and immediately recommended I replace my unit because of dirty coils and its age, and sent a salesman out the NEXT day and tried to get me to sign for a whole new system for the NEXT day! I had NO air and it was 85-90 degrees in my house. I have asthma and COPD and needed something quick. Total Air came out that same day, actually diagnosed my problem, and fixed my unit for 1/5 the price. I had to wait 1 day for them to order the part, but Gary came out as soon as the part arrived at their office, and did the installation at my house at 5 p.m. at the quoted price! Just dont find service like this anymore. And my A/C is running great now! Wont use anyone else from now on.

These guys replaced our entire ac system and much of the ductwork, in 1 day. They did a fine job even though the attic was HOT the install team kept at it til they finished, from 8a til 6p only stopped for a short lunch.. Prices on par with most others but Sales and install folk were experienced and totally open to any concerns prior to work done.Totally happy with the experience and would highly recommend.

Our air conditioner was not working on 5/13.My husband was not at home so I called the office and spoke with a very knowledgeable lady who asked me a few questions and told me that Jeff would be by to look at my system that afternoon. Jeff arrived on time, checked out the problem and explained to me(in a way that I could understand) what needed to be done. HE was very pleasant and efficient.The Filter in the kitchen needed to be changed which he did. Because the air filter was in the kitchen it was quite dirty. Jeff really went above and beyond. He replaced the filter and meticulously cleaned that grill covering the filter. I especially appreciated him cleaning the grill because to reach it I or my husband would have had to get up on a ladder which is quite dangerous due to our age. Again Jeff could not have been more pleasant and professional

Evan arrived on time, at the early end of the window which is much appreciated. He worked efficiently but was very thorough in checking the system fully to make sure everything was in working order. He was able to detect an issue that needed to be repaired. Before providing a quote, he called in to the manufacturer to check the date on the system and my warranty status and helped me through the process of speaking with them as well to make sure everything was in our name as needed as the second owner.Before leaving, Evan was able to get us working again to hold us over until the part came in to be replaced. He was here on a Friday morning... I was told to expect a call on a Monday with a date on when the part would arrive and we would schedule the repair - to my pleasant surprise the part was already in when I received a call Monday morning. The repair is already scheduled for this week, 2 days later. Very impressed.Prices are reasonable. Every staff member I’ve spoken with has been helpful and pleasant. No hesitation in recommending this company for your HVAC needs!Edit: 11/12/19 - Updated to add, that I have signed up for the annual service agreement, they called to schedule when the 6 months had passed, and the technician that came out was on-time, very friendly and the system maintenance was very thorough. Still 10/10 would recommend.

I had my entire AC/Heating unit replaced in my condo. It was a very tight fit not to mention the cramped space on the roof where the compressor needed to be placed. Their technician was able to find an exact fit and they had the old wall hung unit removed and reinstalled in one morning. Excellent, clean installation on a new metal stand. Who knew I should have a floor mounted stand? Now the wall doesnt vibrate when the unit runs. The new heating unit kept tripping my 40 year old breaker. No problem, they lent me a new breaker until I could obtain a replacement. Excellent to work with and the price was very competitive. I have recommended them to many friends.

I would like to say how happy I am with Total air solutions. The whole process was very easy, and I was definitely given the best deal. Other companies quoted the same systems at much higher prices, which made me confused until I spoke with Al about it. Not all AC companies are the same, and I will be recommending Total Air Solutions to anyone who asks me about AC companies. My new Carrier system is working great.
