I have been there 3 times. Trans. fluid on the steering wheel the first time and brake fluid on the shifter the second. Went back a few months later for a charging issue. The problem was corrected, but got the car back with no a/c, no clock, and no cruise control. Never got a return phone call! Very poor customer service!!!

Finding an honest person to do any type of work for you is always nerve wrecking, whether it be a mechanic or whatever the situation. But when I went to Swansons auto, there wasnt an ounce of shady activity. There is literally no need to go anywhere else, these people are just simply good and have respect for us less knowledgeable people.

I’ve gotten my nitrous bottle filled multiple times and never had a problem with it or getting them filled from them. Price is on point and doesn’t cheat you out, weights the bottle before and only charges what he puts in. Great shop to take your car to and have it worked on.

Fast and friendly auto repair. I was driving back from Sarasota to Fort Myers and my serpentine belt broke. Called Swansons and they said bring the car by. They fixed it with no issues and fair on price. They have a coffee machine in the waiting room with a tv for customers waiting. Overall nice experience.

I cant say enough positive about the guy at Swansons; 4:45 this afternoon, Id just pulled into a business and discovered a hissing noise coming from my drivers side rear tire. Not knowing anyone for tire repair, I Googled tire repair near me, and it gave me Swansons, just 4 minutes away. I called them on my way there, and pulled into their lot. The guy plugged it and we were on the road again in less than 20 minutes; no charge. Of course, we gave him $20 in a show of gratitude, which we had to push for him to accept.What a breath of fresh air our experience with them was! Two thumbs up!

Brought a couple sets of struts to him to have the springs swapped over onto new struts. Really quick turn around and clean job. Fair prices. Ill continue bringing work to him when I need it done right.

Cost us $1000. He couldnt fix it and kept the money. Had to go elsewhere to get it done correctly. DO NOT USE.

They could not diagnose our problem correctly. After a couple days they gave us a guess of what it might be and quoted a high price of over 500 to fix it. We took it elsewhere and someone else diagnosed it. Turned out to be a 145.00 part. Its not that I do not think they are honest. They seem to rely on computer diagnostics and with some cars (especially older ones) thats not always reliable or readable. They were very nice. I think they may do okay with easy things to diagnose. I just wouldnt go to them if you have a problem that isnt obvious. Thats just our experience with them. .***** I updated our review to three stars. The reason is because after seeing our review, Swansons called today to see if there was anything they could do to make things right.*****

I moved to Colorado two years ago. There are two things I miss from Florida: Publix subs and Swanson’s Auto. Haven’t come close to finding a mechanic half as good on this side of the Mississippi.

Best mechanic in town. Brought in my car for transmission work, the dealer said it was a torque converter. Wound up being a simple fix!

The guys replaced my ignition lock cylinder and changed the oil. They were friendly, courteous, and knew what they were doing. They were professional, the work was done in a timely manner, and the price was reasonable. Ill definitely be going back. This company is run by two brothers that do a great job in their work. I was seen right away, and they fixed my AC problems quickly and efficiently. I mostly do all my own automotive repairs, but I really dont mess with HVAC or Transmission. Mechanics can be hard to trust sometimes, but this is a company that will get all of my business going forward.

I was told I needed rear axle bearing and was quoted over $600 at a place 2 driveways down from Swansons. They said the parts would be $110 EACH. I took it to Ron at Swansons and he said he could do it for a lot less. He sure did! $360 was my total and that was even with an oil change. I was only without my car for a day once we agreed to do it. He seems honest and knowledgable and I would recommend him to my friends and family. As a female, its scary when youre trying to find a mechanic that wont rob u blind. Im relieved to know that I have found someone that I can go to when I need him. Thank you Ron!

Performed professional fuel system cleaning, spark plug replacement, MAF sensor replacement - a tune up on my Beetle.--Work performed way under budget.--Super fast service.--No wait.--Conveniently dropped me off and picked me up at the library.--My 14 year old car hasnt run this good since it was new.When others told me that my engine was dying and wanted to replace the whole thing, I did some research and suspected it was just a faulty sensor. Stumbled upon Ron Swanson in the online yellow pages - researched his shop - turns out he is not just an innovative mechanic, but has a lot of talent and skill.I recommend them to everyone. We were traveling from Ohio, on ourSecond day the air conditioner locked up. We contacted them and they were able to see us right away! They were honest and disconnected the A/C andDid not charge us! I brought my car to them after it stalled out on me. After a couple of days of trying to diagnose it in between other cars they worked on, they concluded it was my PCM (Powertrain Control Module) which would have cost me a little over $500 dollars to fix. Getting the impression that not much was done to inspect it outside of hooking a computer to it, I wanted a second opinion because I dont have much money to begin with and blowing $500 dollars or more on a probably is hard decision to make. So i took it somewhere else. When I picked it up the battery was dead and it is less than two months old. At least I know they tried something. Plus to their credit, they didnt charge me a dime. Most places want $75 to $125 dollars just to look at your car. To put things in perspective, the car is very old. It is a 1995 Buick Regal and though you can run diagnostics on it, the results will not be nearly as precise as modern cars that have sensors for everything. The vehicle has a little over 250,000 miles on it and I have been driving it for a while with the check engine light on it. One of the symptoms, other than the car not starting, of a bad PCM, ECM, is almost, if not all, the sensors show bad. To their credit, had I brought the car in before it broke down, their diagnostic tool probably still would have lit up like a christmas tree. They called me a few days later to see if I ever was able to discover the problem and I did. It was the ICM(Ignition Control Module). So they were close, but over $500 dollars would have been spent and car still not run. If you have an older car I would suggest attempting to find a mechanic who has experience with them which is getting harder to find. If you have a newer car then Swansons may be the place for you. I dont believe they were dishonest in any way, nor did anything to try and take advantage of me. When I get a later model car I would be willing to give Swansons another chance.
