We’re not from in town & our car caught fire on the highway. We never called this agency but that’s who came to get our car. We were trying to come get our stuff and get back on the highway as we are driving from Chicago to Texas, but they made a big deal about having the registration when it was literally still inside the car and they acted like they couldn’t go grab it for us so we could verify. They also know it was our car because they saw us when they picked it up. We kept telling the lady we’re from out of town so it’s hard to get another copy right now but she didn’t care and was still rude about it. They made everything 10x more difficult. We were then charged 300$ just to get back and see our car and we tried to grab some clothes and they said we had to pay another $300 just to get our stuff. Then when we finally got back to our car they said we can’t even take our clothes out of there. Never heard of that rule in my life. So we just had to say goodbye to ALL of our clothes because of this company. If I would have known they were unprofessional and rude like this, I would have told the police to find a different towing company. Horrible experience! Sad that these white people took advantage of us because we’re black.

The driver was very experienced and did a great Job.I was told one rate and charged a higher one, but it was worth it.

J hook was probably one of the best tow companies they help me out with getting my truck on stock they even came and got me to bring me to my truck the guys were extremely nice and got it out within just a matter of 20 minutes or less they were extremely knowledgeable very helpful and they got my truck out without tipping it over I give these guys a four-star

The kids had a great time grandson loved feeding the gators and the petting zoo was fun the employees were friendly and kind

I called just before the second big snowstorm in a week was supposed to start in earnest. They came immediately. Despite the heavy snow and ice on the road, they were able to tow my husband’s vehicle into a very difficult parking slot...ON THE FIRST TRY, they got it perfect!! Very professional. They know their job. Would whole-heartedly recommend their services.

First they gave me two different rates on how much it would be for the towing. Then, they parked my car so far away on the parking lot it was towed to. The last thing that really got me was that they said that they don’t give change so they took all of the money I had for the tow plus more. So they basically pocketed the rest of my money. I will definitely not be using their services again!

All things considered, they were very nice, accommodating and understanding. I thank you guys so much because we absolutely needed all three of those things this morning. God bless!!!

No one would answer the phone

This is the worst place to ever get a tow from! The owners are super rude and disrespectful. I will never want anyone to have the experience I had with them! 50$ tow is better and have way nicer people working for them. My driver was unknowing of what happening. He would never give me a straight price to pay him. This was the worst place I have EVER used. Never ever use them again!!!!!!!!!

We have a 42 foot American Coach with Jeep in tow, that stranded us is in a busy intersection on a Sunday afternoon. Our warranty company couldn’t find anyone so we googled JHook Towing. The owner came and immediately helped us get to a safe spot, He knew right away the logistics of dismantling the suspension and prepping the tow. He didn’t have the equipment but returned to his shop and came back and got our Motor Coach towed to the dealership for repair. He treated our Motor Coach as if it was his own and treated it with kid gloves. Very professional, concerned, and kind. He takes his job very serious and will make sure as a customer you are satisfied. We highly recommend this company for all your towing needs. If he can tow a 42 foot Diesel Pusher he can make it happen.Thanks again for coming out on a Sunday and making sure we were taken care of properly.

I had a wreck in Sherwood. I could have called AAA and they would have towed it free. I pay monthly for their services. One SPD officer said it was ok then an arrogant cop said NO, he had already called theirs. When I called them a lady said it was a little under $200 to get it out. I asked if I could wait until payday and all she said was “sure”. Before payday came I got a certified letter stating it would be just under $600 to get it out. I called and it would ring one time then hang up and that happened several times. Yesterday I received another certified letter saying it would be over $1100 to get my car. They threatened to sue me. How do they expect people to afford that?

This company is unprofessional, rude and bunch of crooks. Do not use. Called to get a winch out for a tractor/trailer, owner knew the trouble location and named his price for the entire job (750) and gave 1 hour eta. Called back 2 hours later and owner was lost and had no idea what I was talking about, he dispatched a tow truck then. Driver winched out driver in 10 minutes and then requested 100$ dollars extra and proceeded to add tax which was all included in the original quote. Owner was too big of a coward to answer my calls after that and instead had his tow truck driver threaten to impound our vehicle if we didnt pay. Luckily the call was recorded and I will be reporting it to both BBB and DOT. This company is exactly the reason why towing companies get a bad reputation and they ruin it for the hard working folks that still do honest work.

My car got towed when was in sherwood and when I asked where located and how much the lady was VERY rude and short with me . I called back to get the hours office is open because they are not open 24hrs . She told me to go to website and hung up!! I went today to get my car an it wasnt 4:30. The man said they were tired and going home I would have to come back so. Now I have to wait and that means more money at 30 a day!! J Hook is a joke of a towing company!! Never use them.. not professional very rude!!!

If I could mark no star I would. Called and got our insurance to send us a tow. ETA: 45 minutes. I understand that they can take a while. We wait an hour and then I call AAA. They say that the driver got tied up and will be there in 15-20 minutes. I called my AAA back after another 45 minutes and they called the driver who said it was going to be another 20 minutes. 😡😡😡I do not recommend this company who obviously doesnt care about customer service. We then waited another hour and 40 minutes after we were told it would be 20. We have now waited 3 1/2 hours for a tow truck.

Ive been watching where you and others honoring and thank those working hard to help those battling covid-19. My daughters are nurses but dont work in Little Rock. My oldest helps bring babies into this world but walks the same halls as those helping people with covid 10. She works in Hot Springs dont for get those hospitals. Calling for a tow company is never a pleasant experience because obviously something is wrong. I have never met anyone more kind, more compassionate and just down right good. If I ever happen to need a tow again, I will always call these guys. If you need a wrecker service, I urge you to call them. From the moment I called I was thanked for my business. On. A. Holiday. They didn’t charge me extra, they were prompt, kind, reassuring and extremely willing to help me get pulled out of the mud. I was so upset when he arrived that I told him this had just been the worst day, he looked at me and said “Not anymore, I’m here to make it better...” and he absolutely did. I will never use another tow company in my life. He was kind and even when I was crying (yes crying, it was a REALLY bad day) he said “it’s okay, I hope you have a happy new year...” just turned my day around. I am sad I didn’t get his name but I will be calling to find out what it is because he deserves a giant thank you!

Nick came to pick up my vehicle in less than 30 minutes. He was very courteous and even helped me push it in the garage when we arrived at my home. The bad reviews must be from people who had their vehicle impounded because I have no complaints about their roadside service!!!

My car was impounded due to me letting another person use it. My car is in my grandmothers name who lives two and a half hours away. They allowed my grandmother to fax her drivers license and writing from her authorizing the vehicle to be released to me. The several times I called to see if the fax came through the office was very polite. When I got to the office to get my car I only had an ID which was my own fault and all I was told was I would need a licensed driver. Thats very understandable considering that is a business and there is liability involved. I was able to go get a friend who had a license and then had no problem at all getting my vehicle out. Since I jumped right on getting my car out, I didnt have to pay days of storage and only paid 139.00. I believe that to be a very fair price, after all its a business and there is cost they have to pay to keep the business running. Thank You J Hook!!!

I blew a front tire on my RV on I-40 North of Little Rock. We were only 6 feet to the right of the road, I could not safely pull off the road more, and it was unsafe to stay where I was. I saw the negative reviews on line, so I called everyone else first. Some could not tow an RV, most were only available after 8 am. Finally one wrecker driver who was supposedly on call that night (but did not want to get out of bed) referred me to J Hook.J Hook promptly answered the phone, came out after 12 MN to help and both dispatcher and driver were very professional. I highly recommend J Hook. Driver was on the way to his home when he came to help. The charge was reasonable for the equipment needed and services rendered.He pulled me to a safe place as I was in a spot unsafe to change the tire. I was very happy with the service, and no one else supposedly on call 24/7 would actually come out that night.

Worst service ever! Never use! Customer service is horrible and they are nothing but a money racket. They wanted additional money for me to access my own property AFTER paying my original bill! Go anywhere else but here!

I got stuck in the mud last night when I pulled over to inspect my truck 😊 east on 40. I called JHook an they showed up within 10 minutes and pull me out. I was only down for 25 minutes and back on the road. Now that is what l call fast service, thank you JHook.

If 0 stars were an option, thats what this company would receive. They charged us$1000 to store the trailer for 1 day. Thats right, 1 day. They completely took advantage of the situation by gouging us and then proceeded to talk down to our dispatcher. Take your business elsewhere if at all possible.

J Hook Towing is by far the worst towing service in Little Rock. The employees are unapologetically rude and lazy, and offer no assistance when needed. Like most they charge by day, but they price changes constantly and they typically charge extra. I do not recommend using this business.

They say they are open 24 hours but I called at night about an illegally parked truck on our parking lot and they refused to come at night.

First, didnt call them. Another person on scene of accident called for their car...instead the toe service backed up to my car...the car door was slightly open and the toe truck driver, not wanting to get feet wet, pulled my car out, ripping the door off..they charged $450 for a 4 mile tow because driver said he had to wade in water waist deep...so I go to pick up my house keys off the ring..the girl in office said the took 3 keys off ring but now there is only 1...Tammy in office states she took the 3 keys off for me to pick up, but someone put 2 keys back on ring and sent those to house keys with another service that took car to the auto lot....hmmm. they took 3 off, then decided to keep 1 for me to pick up but replaced other keys and sent to impound....so now Im wondering who has my house keys and when they are going to let themselves in my house. They deserve no stars but that wasnt a option.

Was driving to dinner on March 15, 2019. This big yellow 18 wheeler tow truck was pulling a school bus and was in the right turn only lane at Brockington in Sherwood while I was 2 cars back in the straight only lane. When the light turned green the driver of said tow truck cut in front of the car in front of me and drove straight. Luckily the driver in front of me checked up, or that school bus would have rode right over the top of her. You have an unsafe driver working for your company!

When I found myself in need of service here ( CMV) upon completion I felt like I was treated like a criminal( attempted theft of services) they had payment and doing what they needed to do to clear bill ( call efs) whereas they obstructed my trailer so I couldnt attach it and head on my why, once I received a receipt of payment( which no one issues prior to everything being paid in full). As anyone knows time is $$ for a truck driver. Where they are located you cant magically disappear with a semi truck and trailer. Truck stuck in their garage for days.

Driving from NJ to Tennessee and on our way our trailer tire blew out leaving us on the side of the road. Jhooks pulled over and saw me on the side of the road to help me. They took me to go get a new tire and installed it for me. Very nice service and people, definitely recommend

Their service doesnt deserve this 1 star. Mechanics are horrible and management doesnt care. As stated above, you will be hung up on, you wont get return callsI had a truck breakdown in Arkansas. When we placed the call to them we stated we need some radiator hoses and coolant. Mechanic arrived and they said the water pump was out and that the truck needed to be towed to the shop. This was a lie. After the driver has described what was happening with the truck I knew it couldnt have been the water pump. I towed the truck to St. Louis, MO and paid $4300 for towing. Once it arrived to the shop here, We found a big hole in the top radiator hose. We replaced the radiator hose ($30) and the truck was back in business. They charged me $306 for service call with $29.99 fee for antifreeze and said it was gushing out of the water pump. Well that was also a Lie. I submitted a video and pictures to management(TIM) to look into this and was told its his word against yours, and Im done here talking to you. Please, stay away from this shop and find somebody else.

Very rude and disrespectful and also will release your vehicle to anyone even if it was reported stolen...they released my vehicle to the ones who stole my vehicle...they will be sued,!!!! Good thing I have an attorney thats gonna expose their unprofessionalism

After initial contact, their customer service ranks about as low as possible. It seems they have an attitude that you are at their mercy. If at all possible, I suggest calling someone else for towing needs. Well see if things turn around tomorrow.

Theyre are rude as possible. Will hang up on you multiple times. No website or management to assist you with your problem and charge you outrages prices. There is no one in the office multiple times of the day so youre stuck paying additional STORAGE FEES. They need to be put OUT OF Business.
