These guys are amazing! They are prompt, courteous, efficient, professionals! I have never used a moving service before and I definitely have no regrets with them. Our move was great thanks to Number 1 Moving and Cleaning. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. After we had 2 big moving companies cancel on us we reached out to Number 1 Moving and Cleaning with our move from Charleston SC to Denver Colorado. Without hesitation they said they could move us in the short time frame we had and wouldn’t bail on us. We had a large tool chest weighing over 1000lbs loaded up with tools and a number of larger items but with great communication our move was fast and efficient. The day of the move they arrived while we were still packing, they were all so kind and helpful in helping us finish packing. We couldn’t believe that in less than 3 hours our entire house was packed and on it’s way. They also took such great care to not damage anything or cause any damage as they carried larger items downstairs or through hallways.The movers arrived the morning after we both arrived (3 days of driving). Within a few hours we were unloaded. We did have a few items damaged in the move including our washing machine. We understood that these things happen and was an accident outside of all of our control. We weren’t mad in the slightest as Bill was awesome at getting the ball rolling on the insurance claim and getting us reimbursed that day so we could get a new washer. (I just wish the Lowes by us was as good as Number 1 Moving and Cleaning were as we’re still waiting for Washer #3 to be delivered after 2 bad deliveries).From the moment we first talked to Bill until after we had been moved in we had nothing but amazing things to say about Number 1 Moving and Cleaning. They took what had been a nightmare of a move from day 1 to the easiest and fastest move we’ve ever had. If you’re looking to move and have even the slightest bit of hesitation stop and reach out to Number 1 Moving and Cleaning, you will not regret it!

My move was unique because it was delayed 5 days because of real estate negotiations. Number 1 Moving and Cleaning adjusted to meet my family’s needs during a very stressful time while we lived in a hotel. When it came time to move they went out of their way to be available. The team of movers was excellent, thoughtful and a joy to work with. Best moving experience I’ve had in all my many moves. You will not find a better company to assist in you. I 100% recommend. 5 stars!

Can I leave more than 5 stars? Megan and Ike were so wonderful with the after-move deep clean! The house was definitely sparkling when they were done! And they were kind enough to take the left over trash away for us so we didnt have to worry about literally anything once they were done and I cannot be more grateful to them!

If I could give 10 stars I would. After another local moving company did not show up, Billy and his crew saved the day!!I was contacted by Billy after hearing about the situation I was left in. He assured me I would be taken care of. He rounded up a crew and were at my house within an hour. I could not have asked for a better crew. The minute they showed they did not stop until the job was completed.No question of what moving company to use in any future moves.

Really great experience with this company.Wife found them highly recommended on next door. After having some bad situations with movers in the past, I wanted to do it myself with a couple of guys that only cost me unlimited beer. These guys did it in 1/4th the time it wouldve taken me AND nothing got scratched/broken/bruised (which is usually the case when my buddies are overcompensated). Pretty sure I saved money hiring these guys.They were also available to clean the house after they moved me. Bills got a great team of guys that know what theyre doing and really care about good work.

Found this company on Facebook decided to go with them. Im a single mom and it was a good decision they where so helpful and caring of my belongings. They took the stress out of the move thank you guys and I would highly recommend.

I am AMENDING my review upon realizing I was left with boxes too heavy for me to carry, a large box of frozen items left in my storage unit to damage my furniture in an unlabeled box and an owner who does not care! Now he is sending me pictures of my residence “before” which feels like some kind of blackmail as it was untidy. And has offered no way of fixing the boxes THEY left behind or going to the unit they “piled high” to retrieve the frozen box. Not to mention it was sprung last minute that they only accept cash, check or Venmo. Morning of while they were already on sight. The movers were nice but it was extremely disorganized, I’m left to pick up the pieces from an extremely expensive moving company and the boss is just down right rude when faced with wrong doing.

This company helped move me from Atlanta to Charleston. They were on time, very friendly and made me feel like my stuff was in safe hands. I highly recommend this company if you want your stuff handled with care!

They also disposed of some items that were too heavy for us to dispose of on our own. The entire process was seamless.

Just had to shout out to Bill and the Number One Moving and Cleaning company.We just moved to Charleston a couple days ago and originally were supposed to have uhaul ship our items down in U boxes and then deliver them to our house. I had scheduled Bill and his crew to just come unload us. The day we left our NY apartment we found out that uhaul never shipped our items down. They shipped them that day and so everything arrived 5 days later than it was “guaranteed” to arrive (I scheduled shipping weeks ago) then the local uhaul place calls me and says they can’t deliver our boxes because their driver quit weeks ago.I called Bill and he was an absolute life saver. He went to uhaul unloaded all our boxes, brought them to our house and his crew literally got everything moved in in an hour and a half. The crew was amazing, so careful with our items and absolutely no damage to the house or walls. I cannot recommend them enough! I will 100% be using them again.I know moving to the area it can be tough knowing which companies to use, if you need movers this is the company to call.Thank you so much Bill you guys rock!

They moved me from Charleston, SC all the way up to Summit, NJ (during this crazy pandemic no less). They were both friendly & professional, which made the move less stressful. They were on time both with the pick up & drop off. Most importantly, all of my furniture was protected so well there were no new scratches from the move (which never happens)!! Im a very pleased customer all around & highly recommend this company!

Bill came through like a champ!!! I had hired a national moving company for an out of state move and they could not complete the moving of an extremely large and heavy item. Bill showed up at 10:30pm in the pouring down rain and moved the item himself! I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have that he saved the day.
