This place has gone down hill tremendously. We frequent the place quite often and always have to go behind them to finish cleaning the interior. You can literally see the spots they wiped down and places they havent. Also, they tend to hardly vacuum the vehicle.

Wouldnt recommend. Paid for interior clean and its not clean. Theyre more worried about how quick it gets do rather than how well.

In spite of the reviews, I gave it a shot since theyre close to my house. Granted, my car hasnt had a good cleaning in quite some time but I wont bother taking it here again. My husband and I had talked about purchasing an unlimited plan depending on how this went... glad we waited until after so we didnt waste our money. The outside looked good but the inside? It looks like all they did was vacuum the floor mats. So disappointed I wasted my time and money when I could have taken it somewhere else.

Autobell Car Wash on Dorchester Road in North Charleston is a really good option for a car wash when you are on the move and need to get in and out and look good. I really like the speed and efficiency here and all of the features that they have available. They get the job done.

I used Auto Bell yesterday, Feb 10, 2021. I usually don’t get on here and leave reviews because I know that everyone has an off day sometimes; however, I felt that the service was very rushed. I paid for the most expensive package, and they had my car “clean”in no time. There were still streaks on my windshield and windows. The vacuuming was very minimal to the point I’m questioning they even vacuumed in certain spots. I paid extra for my mats to be cleaned, and they aren’t. (In the picture of the mat, there is water on them from where I just got in, but I’m referring to the black stuff that’s there.) I used to work at a car wash, and I don’t know if I just have a higher standard in my head, but the windows/windshield & vacuuming is what I really cared about and they definitely fell short. Sorry, guys.

Everyone was very friendly. They really did a great job. Car looks great inside and out. However I can/could not smell the fragrance. Anyhow it was still a 5 star performance. Thanks.

I took my BMW to be cleaned and they did a terrible job. They charge 28.99 for your car to be washed by a machine and then the employees barely wipe it clean and dry. They let water spots on the trunk and by the gas tank. When I asked if they would clean the tires the guy said it can’t come off! So since when does break dust and grime not come off? So I ended up coming home and completing the job. I will never return and neither should you! Beware they will take your money and do a poor job!

I bring my work vehicle on a regular basis and always have to remind them to do one or two things. Very seldom do they wipe down the dash/console without being reminded. This after being ordered specific. Today they left a bead of yellow pollen around the windows on the truck bed camper shell. They definitely do the least amount possible to push through as many cars as possible.

I come here monthly and the staff works diligently to get you in and out timely while not sacrificing on the quality of their work.

28.99 don’t waste your money if your looking to have your car cleaned. They barely vacuum or wipe down the inside. Never have to worry about me EVER COMING there again!!!! Plus customer service was horrible as well

My SUV looked exactly the same when it came out of the wash!!! We had to point out dirt spots that were missed... They didnt remove the floor mats in the front to vacuum... No tire shine; nothing!!! We had to point it all out after they told us the SUV was done... It was a total waste of $26.99... NEVER again!!!

Poor cleaning job, had to point out several areas that were not satisfactory cleaned and then received an equally unsatisfactory fix to my wash. Don’t waist your money here. $26.99 wash

The kids are always moving and shaking! I never have a bad experience and they are so polite and respectful. Ive never used the inside cleaning options, but I watch as they care for the cars and I would recommend this place to my friends!

Was quick and easy to get the car washed, but I have some complaints about the service.First, I watched them hand dry my vehicle and they only used two separate microfiber towels and used them for the windows, paint, and wheels... And not in the order... They dried the wheels and used the same towel on the paint and this WILL cause scratches.I had to point out several dried water spots that were very obvious. And I gave up after the first 5 or 6 spots. I took several pictures of the still dirty windows, headlights, and the dusty interior.I also now have a small paint chip above one of my wheels that was not there before I went through the wash. My car is not even 6 weeks old...Update, a few hours later: The GM contacted me and they will help me with the issue. Will update tomorrow with more info.Final Update: After speaking with Mr. Woodside we ran it through the wash and had no replication of the damage again on the car.He personally made sure it was cleaned and dried properly and I would approve how he handled the situation. Im sad I have a chip in my paint, but it is more than likely from something else. That is why I am pushing my review rating up to 4/5.Thank you for your professional response to my complaint.

Not the worst car wash in Ladson The machines do a pretty good job of cleaning the exterior and the wheels. Sometimes the kids do a go job at cleaning the interior, sometimes they dont. It gets the job done overall. The superior wash is only $26.99. That includes inside and out, tires glossed, etc. I throw $4 for a tip. You wont find much better for the price. They offer detailing but I never priced it.

Visit for first time on 3-27-21. Can honestly say i wont be going back. The attendant did a very poor job on vacuuming my car. The tires werent even cleaned. They left hand prints on the side of doors. Was very unsatisfied. I paid $30 for a $10 quality job.

Blind person must have vacuumed. It wasn’t even bad to begin with since it’s detailed once a week. He left entire leaves and dirt in all 4 floorboards.I specifically said “interior vacuum and door jambs wiped ONLY”I got everything but that. And then got reprimanded about a ticket when I wasn’t handed a ticket. I went to the street to the other car wash and had them vacuum the interior.I will Not return. I used to come here at least once a month. NEVER AGAIN.

I come here almost every weekend to get my truck cleaned both interior and exterior. They are always quick but they do a great job. Every employee I have had an interaction with has been very polite, they have great customer service. The prices are great, too. I used to go to cactus, but Autobell is better all around, in terms of service, speed, quality, and price.

They did a very nice job on my SUV getting all the stuck on pine pollen off. Very afordable

I do not think I will ever return to the auto bell carwash. The worker assigned to clean my car, did a good job on the visible parts of the vehicle. Anything that needed moving, was not cleaned at all, until I showed him what he had left. He worked on that spot for a while, and did get very slight positive results. I do not recommend this car wash in your future. Service was good, results were bad.

Decent job washing my car.

Went today and got my car washed. I paid for the top service they offer. When I walked back to it I noticed that the floormats still were dirty, when asked why they were I was told Oh, we charge extra for rubber floor mats. First off this was never explained and secondly..... what? This place really went into the hole after it became autobell. Will not return and will gladly drive farther for better service. Had to come home and redo the entire interior.

The price is outrageous for the half cleaning job that is done. I had the $70 plan and have never had my car cleaned properly. I have always used my plan for two cars and when I went the last time I was told that it was only for one car. Seriously, I’m expected to pay you $70 and can’t use it on more than one vehicle! They are seriously losing business since they came out with the app. My family had four plans, now we have none. On top of that every time we went there it was always a problem with my Autobell card or sticker in my door. Each time I went there I was constantly being told it wasn’t working and they would hold me up trying to figure out what the problem was but guess what, they were still charging my card monthly with no problems for all four plans we had. It’s not going to be much longer and they will be out of business.

Im not happy, I have an event tomorrow. I even asked one of the guys if they cleaned the trunk. Ill never be back again.

I’m not sure why I keep going to this car wash, maybe because it’s quick and sometimes convenient. The guys are always respectful and nice. Today I went and there tons of missed spots inside of my car, they barely vacuumed and also they didn’t seem to catch the obvious crumbs I found as well. Every time I go I say I’m not going back and then I go back. I’m definitely not going back, this place is a hot mess. I know the guys say they will touch up anything they missed but if that was the case...I needed another car wash 🙄

Good job with the wash and detailing, however be prepared as tip is added when you pay....5.00 for a 9.00 wash. I prefer to give my tip when the job is done.

Miss the Wonder Wash days. Had my truck cleaned for the first time in months. Outside looked decent due to the automated wash but the interior looks like they did absolutely nothing.... very let down by the work ethic of the employees

If you take your car to this place, please check your side mirrors before having your car wash. Make sure you take pictures to prove that your mirrors were not previously damage. We brought our car here for a wash, and when we got it back the drivers side window was broken. This company will not take responsibility for damaging your vehicle. The manager stated that there was nothing he go do because my car had a scratch on it all ready. It had a scratch, it was not broken. I called the police and the officer stated it was a civil matter and that they got this type of calls from this place often. The manager offered free future car washes, but why would I want to take my cars to irresponsible people. I just wish I had read all the reviews before we went there. Just be careful so you wont have to come out of your pocket twice.

We have had the minivan and the truck washed multiple times at Autobell so far and the results have always been great. They don’t provide a full detail service but we have gotten the top package and for as quickly as you get out of there, they accomplish a lot of cleaning.I don’t recommend the rain repellent treatment as the product they use leaves a visible residue on the windshield, but it’s easy to skip that treatment with their wide selection of wash packages.The crew members are always pleasant, friendly and efficient.The waiting area is very clean and comfortable and it’s nice to have a place to wait while they take care of your vehicle.

Horrible service. Kids playing around instead of working. They lost my car keys. Seats, floor mats, dashboard, etc., DIRT.... TRASH. When you call its of no use. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Corporate customer service who only tells you to take it back so it can get cleaned again... No it should have been done correctly the first time. Plus staying to get redone was not an option. I was already there extremely long with them misplacing my keys........ WOULDNT RECOMMEND THEM TO WASH A TOY CAR.

I paid $19.99 and my car wasnt vacuum good. Along the door seats, trash and DIRT clearly visible. Dont know what they did in the trunk, because it was still dirty. I came home and cleaned the inside of my car better than they did.Only the outside was clean. Then I didnt get any deodorizer and my car needed it.(The guy who cleaned the inside clearly had onions for lunch). Cactus has you guys BEAT, on price and cleanliness!!!!!A year later (4-14-18), and they still deserve less than a one. If you have car mats, they will not vacuum underneath, which is ridiculous. They still dont clean the insides good. Even after I had the young man go back over some spots, when I got home, and did a thorough inspection, I paid 19.99 once again for nothing. Shame on me for being lazy and not going to Cactus or simply cleaning the inside myself. The outside was clean, but didnt look like I just came from a car wash. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO CACTUS OR CLEAN IT YOURSELF!!!!

Floor wasn’t vacuuming windows wasn’t clean especially when I got the $26.00 packages interior wasn’t clean exterior was half done wheels and rim wasn’t clean just overall everything was horrible......Better doing it yourself

I was very impressed with the service I received from the young men operating the establishment. They were thorough and made sure to follow-up and make things right if necessary. I am a club member and feel good about having this place taking care of my truck’s detailing.

I keep going here because its convenient. Less than 1 mile away. Every time I go here they always do something wrong. Today I got the $20 wash and my car looks the exact same. They didnt put the mats back in correctly. Looked like they just threw them in there because they were crooked and not latched at all. I am going back to get what I paid for. What a sad inconvenience. Im sick of their terrible service. Im not returning. Ill take that drive after this to avoid their poor service. Quality over quantity!!!!!!!!!!!The boys were very nice and respectful as always.

Update 3/17/2021: Place has changed badly since last time there. I was charged for a full service and they 3 boys there werent able to clean correctly the car so I had to tell them several time why didnt they clean those parts.Ive read lots of bad comments for this place. But I think they have improved a lot. They did a fantastic job in my vehicle on 11/04/17. No complaints. Also, they look really professional with their uniforms and behavior. Great job guys!!

Had car washed here for the first time....did a great job. Was a little pricey 29.99. They did not tell me about some of their better/cheaper offers, this is the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. Be sure to ask about specials.

Fast friendly service

Auto bell really needs to train their cashiers how to handle money. I went to them to get a 21.99 car wash and paid the young man 2 ten dollar bills and paid the 1.99 on my debit card. When I check my account online the cashier charged my card 11.99 when I paid 20 dollars cash! I come back to explain to the store manager what happened and he counts the drawers and tells me there no extra 10. So either one or two things happened here, either one The cashier stole my other ten and lied about it and charged my card anyway or two the store manager didn’t care enough to check that his incompetent cashier is misplacing money. Never coming back to dishonest place.

Did not clean interior thoroughly. Very disappointed. Giving 3 stars because the guys there were very nice. Unfortunately will not be going back. Missed several spots on the interior. I would have been willing to wait longer for a thorough cleaning.

I went to this location today. When my car came out of the wash, I noticed my front tire was flat! During the wash my valve stem was broken off. The manager attempted to put my spare, he acted as if he had never changed a tire. I had to call my own mechanic to change the tire, luckily he was close by. I was NOT offered any compensation for my inconvenience! DO NOT go to this car wash, you risk more than the cost of a simple car wash. I will never go to this place again! BE WARNED! (Side note...I had to give the one star to allow me to post this warning.)

I’ve been to this car wash 4 times twice with my pickup and twice with my sedan. All 4 times, there have been streaks, and many areas where it has not even been touched since there was still dirt remaining. The inside was barely vacuumed, the doors untouched, only the dashboard and radio were cleaned, that is it. I am displeased of the results from this car wash and do not recommend anyone spend $20 or more on a full interior and exterior wash/clean for it to look nearly the same as it did going in

Customer service is great. If they miss a spot they have a no problem going back over it.

I had a quick experience my car turned out nice Eric touched up some of the spots they missed with no problem at all and was more than happy to make sure I was satisfied. I will come back

One word...Awful! The inside of my car was rushed. They finished my car in less than 5 minutes and you can tell why. My car was half vacuumed and quickly wiped down. 25 dollars for a rushed service. I would not return!

No external detailing services are available at this location, even though corporate told me there would be. If my rims were cleaned I couldnt tell and the hand dry could have used some work.

Decent cleaning. Third row didnt get touched really, same as the trunk area. Everyone else looked great. Seemed too fast to be a thorough job anyway.

Great place, clean waiting area and bathrooms. The car was detailed beautifully, and the staff was so ki d and courteous. Moving to the area soon, that will be my place to wash my car.👍

I really want to like this place and have been there six or seven times, but it never gets better. I repeatedly have to ask for basic things to be redone (vacuuming, cleaning inside door windows, wiping down the edges when you open the door, etc.) Ive asked managers if this is whats normal at their place and received varied responses, including that the staff is tired, they dont clean that part unless asked, or that things have been busted on other cars so they dont want to fool with mine (window shades). Usually I get an apology, but not always. Today my windshield was actually HARDER to see through then when I went in! I have a dark vehicle, so the lint from the towels made it look tacky, too. Drips from the mirrors and the door handles were not wiped down. Thank goodness I had a coupon and didnt pay for a more expensive wash!! The icing on the cake today was the kid who took about three minutes to take off his hat and primp and play with his hair in the reflection of my vans side window. Then he put his hat back on and meandered around to work in my car some more. Meanwhile, cars are backed up and Im waiting for my car to be complete. Unfortunately, Im going back to Cactus...slightly more expensive and 5 miles away, but worth it.

I paid $30 for the best interior/exterior package they have. At first it seemed great. The exterior looked wonderful and it was quick. But almost too quick it took only 15 minutes.The inside was okay. You coukd tell it was vacuumed but the center console was barley wiped, the rear view mirror and side panel of the passenger door were still wet with cleaner, and the cup holders still had dirt in them.I tipped the guy who cleaned it and thanked him.But I will never return here for a car wash. Not even a $4 one. I would not recommend this place.

This new car wash took the place of the one that was in the same spot for years. Yes, they did a good job of cleaning the car, and the workers are friendly and prompt. But. . . the facility is now sterile and bare; it used to have all sorts of stuff available to buy, not to mention coffee, and a nice little place for children to play, etc. There was absolutely no one and nothing inside the building. Kinda weird.

For me to give a one star it is not done lightly. I usually dont give ones. Car was DAMAGED in there wash. Car was NOT clean on the inside windshield was dirtier than when I went in. Had previously had a bad wash and made them do it over again this time I didnt bother. There has to be better car washes out there.

AMAZING!! Best car wash in CHS. Very detailed and go above and beyond my expectations. Interior and exterior is always perfect. Guys working there are always gentleman. Wish they would expand all over. Everyone deserves this experience.

Would really like to like this place, but paid for the most expensive wash and got the following: a wet driver seat that no one could explain since they dont shampoo, a super filthy backseat I had to ask yo have vacuumed again, a halfway-done vacuum job elsewhere, windows that are still dirty, and a dash and console that still have dog fur on them. And the exterior wash left spots and didnt get it super clean as I was expecting (Its a brand new car--its not hard to make it look good). Had to ask for a trash bag to put on the seat so that I could drive back to work. Absolutely no pride in the work they do. The search continues for a good car wash.

I just paid $27 for a car wash. My first time going there and Im very dissatisfied. They advertised hand drying, I have water spots all over especially the passenger side. The roof and back windows are still dirty, again water spots everywhere. Not to mention a nice big scratch down the driver side door. Better off doing it myself. Will never use there services again.

I bought there Super wash (interior and exterior cleaning) and was very disappointed. The back floor and trunk was never vacuumed (it still had leaves, and dirt and even still had an empty water bottle ). The interior doors etc were still dirty. I did ask if they clean the interior doors as part of that package and was told “yes but they don’t scrub or clean it” (he was a teen who was nice about it ) I decided to just go home to detail it myself . I used water and a towel and it all came right off.

Wasnt planning on getting a car wash the other day, but stopped in and was very very happy with the results! The attendants were friendly and did a great job inside and out! They vacuumed, did the exterior, my tires too, and even though I didnt get a wax, my car looked super shiny like it was waxed. Maybe its the process or product they use, not sure. The only thing I feel bad about is I didnt have any dollars in my pocket to tip the guys, so Im going to double up next time Im there. Kudos to JaMaree and the crew there.

The service was good. My car looked the same as it did before I went there. They barely vacuumed it out. They didnt wipe it out good enough. Still dirt spots on my doors. They need to be trained better. $20 seems kind of high for your car to come out looking the same as it did when you went there.

I brought my wifes SUV in today and had to bring it right back because of spots they missed and even on the 2nd go around they still missed the areas I pointed out. I asked the gentlemen for the rag and did it myself. He told me couldnt get it off with the the little bit of water that was left the areas came clean. Wait water left? I thought they were supposed to dry it? Another thing to tell me that my wifes vehicle was parked under a tree and neglected for quite some time was pathetic. Take some pride in your work might and you might be better off. Pollen is everywhere, you washed it two weeks ago I have proof, do you?
