Had the windows retinted at Pleasant Details and Tint on my 2004 Ford F-150 Lightning. The old tint was starting to lose its ability to keep the hot Charleston sun from baking the interior. After talking with Matt we decided to go with the ceramic based tint to help with keeping the cab cooler in the summer months, which to be honest here is like 8 months out of the year. Matt did an excellent job removing the old tint and adhesive as well as applying the new tint. I was pleased that he went beyond and made sure to wipe the interior door panels down after he was done. Ive had experiences with other shops that just leave the water residue on the panels. I highly recommend if you are looking to get window tinting done to contact Matt at Pleasant Details and Tint.

The guys at Pleasant Details did a fantastic job cleaning my car up! I called on a Saturday and was able to bring my car in first thing the next Monday and it was ready by late afternoon.Six months without a garage or wash left a nice coat of crust and matte finish on the paint as well as tree sap little black dots. First picture is showing the little back dots that would not come off, and second pic is how gross the trunk crust was. You would never guess that all that grossness was caked in the trunk or that it wasnt a fresh paint job when I got the car back. Inside of the car was also immaculate (though it was def not as gross as the exterior).

This is a unique team who goes out of their way for all their customers. They are amazing at everything they do.

My engine room looked like a warzone after traveling from Yokohama, Japan to Los Angeles by ship, then from Los Angeles to South Carolina by open truck. Not sure if you can visualize how bad it was without seeing the before pictures which unfortunately I dont have. What I do have is the after pictures that Pleasant Details were very Detailed which hopefully you can capture from the pictures. I definitely plan to have them do some other detail work in the future including my rims, body, and tint.

I’ve used Pleasant Details for a few of my vehicles now and the service is always impeccable. It’s easy to say that everything is great when things go perfectly but a real tell is when things don’t. A few years ago there were issues with a tint job they did for me and it took a few times to get right. Not only did they get it right but they made every effort to make the corrections as easy as possible for me, even picking up and delivering my vehicle back to me and doing a detail on it while they had it. This is the place for tint in Charleston for sure.

I love the work that was done on my car. The clear bra was put on partial hood and fenders. Ceramic Coating was done and my car looks like it came out of the showroom. Then I had to finish it off with the Ceramic Window Tint. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it........

I highly recommend Andrew Hellier who installed our 3M Impact Resistant Window Film at our home. He was professional, answered all of our questions and explained the application process as well as the protective qualities of the film. We are very pleased with the job he did for us!

Absolutely fantastic! There are 3 categories to having work done: speed, quality, cost. They say you can get the best of two of them, but not all 3. They havent been to Pleasant Details! I got a clear bra applied and it was fast, cheap and PERFECT! I originally had it done through Platinum Automotive but done by a place in Mt Pleasant called C.A.R.S. It cost me way more, they took an entire week (as opposed to 1 day at Pleasant Details) and completely botched it so I had to have it removed. Just to show you the difference, look at the two pictures of the carbon fiber trim (pics 2 and 3). The one CARS applied looks like garbage with a terribly cut wavy line through it, where as the one applied by Bradley at Pleasant Details doesnt even HAVE a line! You can see from the other pics as well that everything lines up perfectly and that the clear bra was wrapped around edges for an even more seamless look where possible. Ill definitely be referring anyone to these guys and any future clear bra or tint work I have done will be done by them!

Andrew put some 3M prestige 50 tint on our homes sunset-facing windows and it works great--we are using less AC to keep the home the same temperature. More windows were coated than what we asked for, and this was not included in the final bill. Overall very high quality service, materials, and final product, with a great warranty. Would highly recommend.

We are very happy with this 3M product and the professional and personal service we received. Almost immediately we noticed an improvement in the temperature in our house (cooler in the summer and warmer in the fall/winter), and we feel more secure with the impact rating. This company is PHENOMENAL! I would highly, highly, highly recommend them. We have had two cars detailed with them, and one cars windows tinted. They did an absolutely outstanding job with both vehicles - like brand new! Both cars had dog hair in them (mine had a LOT of dog hair in it) and when I picked up my car I was almost in disbelief - there was not ONE SINGLE DOG HAIR left in my car! I was in shock. If you have pets you know how incredible that is, and I am not exaggerating one bit. Every single hair was gone. They also made excellent recommendations for tinting the rear windows in my car to keep out heat better for my little one who sits back there. They were prompt in their servicing, their customer service was top notch, and the quality of work they did was beyond what I ever expected. Absolutely a great choice for car detail and window tint!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Pleasant Details.I bought a nearly brand new ford focus and unfortunately the person that owned the car before me smoked in it, and although the dealership said they did the ozone treatment as well as a detail the smell clearly showed me nothing was done. With nothing else to do I researched detailers in the area and ran across them. Mike was so incredibly nice, heard me out about my situation and how desperate I was to find a solution. He was willing to work with me, do the ozone treatment and even keep it for days to do the best job they could do!!! No matter how many times it took to steam clean the carpets, etc...he was willing to do whatever it took to help me out. They have been incredibly professional, helpful and caring about the entire situation. When picking up my car days later I was in disbelief at how unbelievably wonderful my car looked and smelt! It was like it wasnt even the same car, I was in shock!! Mike explained to me exactly what he did each day as well as his recommendations on keeping the car this way. It was a great price for what all was done on my car and i am so relieved about the situation. Not to mention days later after my car sat in this wonderful summer heat, it still smells beyond amazing! I definitely recommend Pleasant Details, for any type of service you may need.

We had the invisible bra and interior protection system installed for our ML 550. The staffwas friendly, professional, prompt and provide excellent services. The work was completed as schedule and the car looks great. The invisible bra is truly invisible, the staff went the extra yard to wrap the plastic so it doesnt show and hold strong. The work turned out to require custom cuts, which were completed competently. We look forward to future detail work with this company. Recommend highly.

The employees were very informative and they had a lot of knowledge about the products they sold. Additionally, they were incredibly fast and flawless in their execution of tinting my windows. Some earlier reviews said they do not tint windows anymore, but they now have a full time person doing it, and they do a fantastic job.

I have had two cars windows tinted, my car and my fathers car. Both times the work was done in a timely manner and the work is perfect! My father was in town for a few days and Mike fit him in. It wouldnt be possible for Mike to be nicer and the work to be better!!

I previously had my car wrapped by a business in the Myrtle Beach area and within a year the wrap bagan to bubble and peel. It was a totally unsatisfactory installation and the provider refused to rectify the problem or honor the 3M warranty. First off, I figured that some of these reviews might have been from the employees but I received a recommendation from a coworker to give these guys a shot. I went with the full detail + engine cleaning for $165. It absolutely blows me away at how nice of a job they did, and I will be taking my s2000 there routinely for this detail. They bag your loose belongings, as they literally clean every nook and cranny in the vehicle. They even applied the correct cleaning agent to clean up the dash, instead of just using some sort of detailing wipe. I would recommend this place to ANYONE, especially if you plan to sell a car. I would wager to say it definitely adds a significant percentage to the resale value of my car. Jason - Mount P

I have used Pleasant Tint for multiple cars and have been thrilled every time. The guys that work there are really friendly and helpful, and they talk honestly about the products they have ( and dont try to do some sort of uncomfortable pushy upsell ). They repaired one of my windows that my engagement ring tore into, tinted the windows on my Prius when it was new, and tinted the windows on my Mazda ( which is currently new ). After 6 years, the tint on the Prius still looks just as good as the day it was done! It is FLAWLESS. Ive also used them for detailing - its a little more expensive for detailing than going to one of those side-of-the-road places on Hwy17, but they do a MUCH better job and use good products instead of the cheap make everything shiny stuff that blinds you when you drive and can hurt your finishes. I recommend them to everyone who needs detailing or tinting done, and will continue to take my cars there in the future!
