The entire staff made my experience worth wild. Devin answered the phone with so much excitement to take my call. He was really sweet with helping me figure out which tires my car needed. I got caught in traffic leaving work, and the guys still stuck around to add on the set I called in for. On top of all of that they added on 4 tires for me in 10 minutes to include a new sensor. Sidenote I loved the fact that Matthew took the time to explain to me what the sensor did, and my options in case I didnt want to get a new one. If this same crew is going to continue to be at this location I can promise you its worth the experience. Every last one of the guys were so kind and professional. I know for sure Ill be back. Purchased two tires. They lost a lug nut. Manager expected me to go to the parts store to purchase a new lug nut. Then he would reimburse me. Your mistake, and I have to go to the parts store? Then the tech came back from lunch, and openly lied about there being a missing lug nut when he took off the tire. Wouldnt that have been something you would have notified the manager, or the customer of immediately? That they were missing a lug nut when you first removed the tire? Lug nuts dont just fall off.SMH! Must be nice to have so much business that you throw away loyal customers.

I called for a quote on some tires for a company trailer was given a out the door price and in the end the price was suppose to be more than I was quoted Devin I think his name was in the office was great about it and professional I’d went the wrong location and he went and got the tires and still done it at his location couldn’t ask for a better first time experience for someone in North Charleston area I’d recommend them for the great service and professionalism

On our way home from vacation to Isle of Palms, we unfortunately got a screw in one of our tires 45 minutes into our drive (on a very busy 4th of July weekend). We managed to somehow get the car to this location and Im so glad that we did! Staff was very friendly...they were extremely busy but managed to get our tire patched and us back on the road home quickly! Would definitely take my vehicle back for future work if we lived locally!

I stopped by 09/17 in the morning during the start of the busy rush and Sheldon was the first to approach me, helped me at the front desk, and then came back out and worked on at least every car there was.. not saying other employees wasn’t doing their job but Sheldon was everywhere and definitely stood out!!

Geralds Tires is definitely the best place to get tires in the Lowcountry. I got 4 used tires for my CRV for $185 out the door! What a great deal! Definitely call ahead if you want used tires. And thw wait times can be a little excessive, but they are very busy.

Time spent their was about 2 hrs. Although the service ended up being free. Some individuals came way after me and was served first. They were paying customers I guess.

His assistance was greatly needed before I picked up my 3 month old granddaughter. He quickly had his team fix my tire and had me on my way safely!! This is the worst place on earth!!! Called on a Monday to verify if they have my tire size. It was confirmed that they have the size! Tuesday, they don’t have the tire and have to order from another location. Wednesday, no one ordered!!!!! Thursday they replaced the tire with an off brand tire and the car looks weird. STILL on Thursday, Geralds was supposed to order the same brand tire.....it’s the following Monday and still NO TIRE!!!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. I brought my tire to get a puncture fixed and my rim got entirely scratched up. There is a huge scratch on the outside and by the lugnuts it is covered in scratches. Very unhappy with this and will never be coming back.

I was here with my wife this byran was good help he my tire good Attitude and I went to work and work truck tire is low I say me go back to geralds to byran good service.

We had tires rotated & some replaced. They did job properly, quickly, & were friendly. Its a no frills kind of place & they were pretty busy, so we had to stand around in the sun maybe 30 min but thats understandable at these prices. I only gave 4 stars due to a lack of Covid19 measures. Neither workers nor most customers wearing masks. No social distancing, people allowed to sit together on bench while waiting.

These guys are CROOKS!! They do not have the best deals in town by far. Geralds is merely running on a reputation set by good hard working people that are no longer working there. It is definitely not the same place it used to be even as little as 5 years ago. What a shame?! 🤨🙁👎

My go-to tire place. We were on our way to our family mini trip and stopped for some air. They found one tire was punctured with a peice of scrap. They got us taken care of in less than 10 minutes.

It was one of the best experiences I have had after paying for new tires at the Hyundai Dealership on Rivers a couple of months ago and being told I will need a new tire without even looking at the tire that was flat! While Gerald’s didn’t even charge me for taking off the tire and explaining why it couldn’t be plugged. Dealing with a flat for over week and having to fill up with air daily till pay day definitely made me know where I would want to bring my business to and it’s Gerald’s Tires. The dealership was more expensive, they are cold, and to the point while Gerald’s Tire went the extra mile with their customer service. To top it off having Gerald’s Tires balance and put a new tire for me after not taking more customers on a Saturday while it’s raining and they are trying to finish up to go home, they squeezed me in and left roses in my car! Not to mention they saved me money!!!

I waited 50 minutes (after being ignored for about 10 minutes, waiting for someone to come to the desk), just to be told that they couldn’t patch my tire. I left there upset, time wasted, & I felt brushed off. (I’m also 7 months pregnant by the way.)I went to the Summerville location, immediately afterwards & guess what? They were able to patch my tire. (The same tire that the Rivers/ Remount claim to be too balled to patch.) I felt very dismissed & ran over by these “men”. It’s crazy because I’ve never experienced poor customer service with Geralds in the past. Safe to say I will never come back to THIS location.

Geralds is the only place i even think about going if i have any issues with my tires or if i need a new set. The employees are very nice and go out of their way to help. They also know everything about tires and brakes. Once you get there they are always hustling and moving fast to get you back on the road. I cant see any other tire place doing more than they do. If you havent tried them you have to go and i promise you wont regret it.

My daughter and I stopped by to get a plug and tire pressure check. Matt, the technician tended to us. He was very professional, friendly, patient with customers and extremely knowledgeable about tires. Matt also gave us awesome tips on how to inspect and preserve our tires; this information is good for all travelers who hit the road local or long distance(particularly a Clemson student that drives back and forth for moms cooking). Kudos!!

Tires were mounted fairly quickly without problems. All 4 wheels were heavily scratched in the process. The wheels were in great condition before hand. Very disappointed

I love Geralds Tires because they make sure that you get a good deal and that everything is good before you leave. I went Saturday to get some Air in my tires and the guy did it as soon as I pulled up and he asked me what did I need done, and he come to put air in my tires.

Ive only had 1 bad experience with Geralds in all the years Ive been patronizing the business. Today they only have 1 tire tech working. So, the wait is long. I had 2 cars ahead of me & Ive been here almost 1.5 hrs. The other 2 people have been serviced & have left & more people have come.Hes doing more than 1 car at a time. Maybe the guy in the office can come help move things along a little faster. Just a suggestion. This is the 2nd time Ive come here & both times I have had an issue. I did another review right after this one. They are both for the location on 5646 Rivers Ave near Remount Rd.

This place is awful; horrible service . I bought 2 new tires and they broke my sensors! So after that my tire light pressure is always on in my dashboard. I’ve been there 3 times or 4 to get fixed but they pretend they fix it and and say my light will goes off if i drive certain amount of miles .Is more than $400 hundred for fixing at the authorized store.Please avoid this place. Worts experience ever

I love Geralds. Always keep your orange warranty envelopes in you dash. They will honor them again and again. My car has 8,500 miles and they have already saved me $300-$400! I remember when I was little getting free checks from Geralds before we drove to Florida. Highly recommended by myself and parents both.

I cant even begin to tell you about my incredible experience at Geralds. I came in with a punctured tire that was un-patchable, found out my car didnt come with a spare tire and didnt have the funds at hand for a new tire. Scott was BEYOND kind and caring to me and had a tire put on in the POURING RAIN so I could get home safely. Ive never been treated so well by any business ever. I left with tears in my eyes at the level of kindness shown to me. When I called this morning to pay for the tire, they told me it was my lucky day and the tire was on the house. I was speechless and teared up all over again. You simply dont find this level of customer service, caring, and kindness anywhere these days. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Had several nails in a tire they took it off and explained why it could not be patched. Recommended buying a used tire until the new one came in safer than using the donut. Will get full credit for the used one when the new tire comes in. Im amazed by their honesty!!! Weeeeeee

Customer service at this location doesn’t exist. I stood in line while the one guy in the office answered 4 different calls and completely ignored those who were waiting for assistance in his face. Then when I finally had is attention he asked me what I needed. I told him that my tire pressures are low. He gives me a slip and tells me to put it on my windshield and that he will be out to check them shortly. It’s been 52 mins and he hasn’t come out yet.

Geralds staff is the GREATEST! Heres my story: I was traveling to Charleston from Savannah yesterday & had a tire shred. It was late in the day & I was struggling to find someone that had the correct size tire so that I could make it home. The men at Geralds changed out my tire mere MINUTES after I arrived. They charged me $50 less than theyd quoted on the phone when I called in a total frenzy. They even handed me roses on my way out the door! Id had a terrible day, & they were able to get me back on the road so I wasnt stranded hours from home. I dont know what I would have done if they wouldnt have taken me in right as they were closing. The men were all very very nice & professional & helpful. It was truly a godsend!

It took about an hour but the kind manager made up for it he took off a little bit on 4 tires of all a little bit of a lot these days. Super nice and I was only looking for two tires and he gave me four for what I its going to get to tires for. They were used but not much still have long life.

Con: I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to get my tired patched up. And thats the only bad thing I have to say. The technicians were extremely helpful and friendly. Once they got to my truck, the job was done super fast. I can see why Geralds is the best place in the Lowcountry. Mind you I went to 4 other tire shops and everyone said over 2 hour wait. I should have came here first. From now on, this is the only place Ill go. Great work done by professionals!

I came here about half an hour before they closed. Explained the situation about my tire and told them I only had $60 to pay for the tire. I was told that it’s normally $66 and my heart fell. But I was super relieved to hear right after that to hear that the gentleman was going to see what he can do. A little while later, he came back and told me that he could do it for $60 and I nearly cried. I’d been driving around on my spare for way longer than I should’ve. I am so thankful for the amazing man who helped me get a new (well, new for me) tire. If you come to this location, ask for Scott. He’s the amazing person who helped me today. I will definitely be back if I have any more tire issues.

Everything about this business is awesome! The employees are a really great group of people. You cannot beat the quality of service and price as well. This is one of the few businesses where it feels like they arent there to just take your money. They genuinely care about their customers.

This was the only shop I would take a car to for about the last decade, but they have lost my business. I always felt taken care of at Geralds and trusted them enough to send my wife alone for service. But..the last time she took her car in for oil change service, she was told her tires needed to be changed immediately and that her brakes were metal on metal. She called me, thankfully, and I said I would check when I got home.That following weekend I changed the brakes...discovered they werent even close to needing to be changed and definitely werent metal on metal, and the tires have plenty of life left.I was annoyed but not enough to leave a review....until I noticed the oil leak.....Oil filter was cross threaded and forced in.I didnt have the necessary tools to force the filter back out so today I took the car to a different shop and paid to have the shoddy service corrected.My trust is lost and with it my business, time to buy some tools and do it all at home.....

I don’t think Gerald’s needs another 5 star review but everything about everything they did for me today was exceptional. Don’t be dumb and even consider going anywhere else.

I havent had any issues with a air pressure in my tires in a long time, so I hadnt been to Geralds in a while. One visit there yesterday, and I was reminded just how good their service and their people are. I was taken care of in about 45 minutes. They fixed the issue and wouldnt charge me -- which isnt why I am writing this review! Then, when I went out to the car, there was a rose on my door from Geralds, thanking me for my business and instructing me on the proper care of the rose. It doesnt get any better than that as far as Im concerned. They are the best and more than anything, as far as Im concerned, you can trust them.

I just want to give a huge shout out to Price!!! He did such a wonderful job and helped me get my tire fixed after calling all over town and no one said they could do it. He did i will definitely go back and if u go there i would definitely ask for Price!! Over all everyone was so nice and pleasant!!!
