I had the tire pressure light on and wanted to get it checked as we would be going on a road trip and did not want any issues. Booked the appointment online, arrived at the location and they checked the car on time and quickly. Hunter checked the car and advised that the back tires were low on pressure and he filled the tires to the correct level and the light went off automatically. He was helpful and professional and the gentleman at the reception said there was no charge and we gave Hunter a tip for the fix. We will definitely go back for other services.

Made an appointment to have brake service done on my Mercedes C300 after hearing some metal to metal sounds coming from the rear. Arrived and the attendant proceeded to assist me promptly. Was very knowledgeable. He described what was going on and made me away before hand what was needed to correct issue. Went his way to ensure vehicle work was done without need for vehicle to stay overnight. Appreciate the level of customer service provided throughout process.See attached photos of before and after.

Dave did an amazing job at fixing my Mazda 3! Another company messed up my oil change and the whole engine and motor was destroyed. Meineke Car Care Center on Ashley Phosphate Road in North Charleston is a great place for car service when you need. The professionals here are very efficient at making sure everything is repaired so you can be on your way. I have had a good experience every time I have been here.

Dave was very helpful. I took it in for an oil change but ask that he do a road trip check. He found my fluids to be very dirty. He worked with me on a price. His tech worked on the car till it was done which meant after closing hours. Above and beyond. Great service.

I ended up with a frozen caliper at the end of a very bad month, everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to make the progress as painless as possible! I never felt like I was being grifted. Its nice to go somewhere that understands that honesty and a personal touch is the best way to win over customers. They have one in me.

WOW. I’m so pleased with my experience today. My day started with the dread and frustration of car trouble. The all too familiar panic (“IF I can even afford it, how long will I go without a car?? How will I get to work???) I called Meineke hardly knowing the make and model of my own car. David R. worked me into the schedule the same day and told me he would give me the best value for the service. And he delivered..even though he could probably sell me anything with the extent of my car knowledge. My car was serviced quickly, easily, and without me having to sell a kidney. And the best part...I actually enjoyed myself. David is a hoot! He is friendly and welcoming. It felt more like having coffee with an old friend. I forgot how many stars this thing had, but I would give more if I could! I’m sold. Will definitely return.

You better Check to see if the work they are doing are necessary ..returned my car three times in one week before sent it off to a real mechanic!.. they will tell you need work where you don’t just to pump up the price . Oh and by they way check under the hood before you drive off ... the mechanic left his tools spread out all over my engine after they said they test drove... good think I checked and returned his tools before driving off!..And when I did drive off the car only made it about three miles before breaking down again and now Meineke has washed their hands of it....So now I’m not only out of 1200 dollars and out of a car as well...fix my car? what did they fix? Drove it in and never got to drive it out but it didn’t stop them from getting paid for nothing!GOOD LUCK WITH PLACE!

Over the years, I’ve taken my car to a shop for a handful of things I don’t feel like doing myself and I’ve tended to lean towards Meineke, because my experience has always been awesome. These guys were no different. They communicated exceptionally, let me order my parts online and dealt with my whole fiasco. After my work was done, they recommended I return some of the parts I purchased, as they just weren’t necessary. I will absolutely be calling you guys my shop from now on!

I brought my Jeep in for an engine repair on a Saturday. Because they are closed on Sunday and I was driving back home from out of town they worked late hours to get me back on the road that evening. Great experience with the crew at Meineke! I had them fabricate my custom exhaust on my 2010 Audi A6. Dave is a great guy and car enthusiast. Dave even offered to drop me off at home if I didn’t have a ride so I didn’t have to wait. Jimbo did a exceptional job on the exhaust. He’s an old school exhaust guy and is very particular about his work. He went above and beyond what I would have ever expected. He’s also very knowledgeable! He gave me some future ideas for the rest of my exhaust. I will be coming soon to finish off my exhaust projects! I would recommend this site to anyone that needs work done. I have gone here a few times for little minor fixes since I moved to Charleston. I have encountered very knowledgeable mechanics for the most part. I never write reviews online good or bad because it’s a waste of time but the young man I spoke with today was beyond rude. Even as I went to write this review I saw that other people that had anything negative to say about the company was responded to in a very snarky unprofessional way. I get that customers can be aggravating, but kindly educate them instead of responding both in person and online reviews like a defensive teenage girl. I’ve never had issues here in the past, but as of right now I am disappointed with the unprofessionalism and “don’t give a care” attitude. Took my truck somewhere else and got much nicer service.

Did I go to some wrong place? this place was the worst... Was told that appointments are basically useless because theyre always so backed up. Was told that my 5 pm oil change would be ready for pickup at 8 or 9 pm... First and last experience with meineke for sure. And the parking lot is just littered with cars/uhaul/school bus?? Can barely move around the place.

The team at this location really helped me out of a bind when I got a flat tire while traveling. They figured out how to squeeze my car in even though they were busy and I was able to get back on the road to head home right on schedule.

I had gotten my AC recharged at another Meineke location and it started blowing hot air again after two weeks. Took it into this shop kind of late in the day and they were able to diagnose the faulty part and get it fixed at no cost to me, and done within a couple hours.

The meineke in Florida messed up when replacing my breaks on my Mercedes (apparently those cars are trickier) and I moved to Charleston a few days after they had done the faulty replacement. This location was incredibly helpful, they fixed the mistake and did so in a very short amount of time. Im not hating on the Florida meineke because everyone makes mistakes but wanted to highlight the amazing customer service at this location -- thank you!!!!

It has been a struggle with the car to try and figure out what was wrong with it as the computer was being ornery and would not connect and these guys have been nothing but kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I got taken care of. Great customer service!! Dave was extremely cool and professional. He communicated with me throughout the entire process of fixing my car to update me of all issues. He made sure I was aware of everything by sending me pictures of all work being done to my vehicle. He waited until to he got permission to proceed with any new work that out of the scope we discussed. I really like the way he communicated everything with me. Also, the lobby was very clean and tidy. If I had to stay with my car while it was being fixed, I felt that I would be very comfortable waiting in the lobby to do so. I’ll will definitely use this location again for any car maintenance I may need in the future.

I am so impressed and grateful for this Meineke location on Ashley Phosphate Road. I got a standard oil change a few weeks ago and they told me that my CV axel was pretty torn and needed a repair. I searched around and this place definitely had the best price. So I called them at the beginning of the day to ask if I could drop my car off for them to take a look and let me know how much it would come to. They got me in immediately, called me within an hour about the diagnosis and cost, and assured me I would be able to pick my car up that same day. They did all that and I was actually able to pick up my car within about 3 hours of that diagnostic phone call. When I picked up the car, the bill was actually less than the original estimate! They really took care of me. I will be going back to them for all my car repair and maintenance needs. Jake is the gentleman who worked with me and he was great to work with. Very professional and very courteous. Cant recommend them enough!

I never write reviews. In my case though, it was such an extraordinary experience it merits one. I needed an oil change before I went on a road trip with my family that afternoon - 14 Dodge minivan - 88k miles.David called me into the back to show me that it was 2 quarts lower than it should’ve been. “There goes my day” I thought.A valve gasket needed to be replaced - I was only there for an oil change. I’ve been gouged by mechanics before - and I think he sensed my suspicions, so he took the time to show me where the leak was, and the mechanics of what were happening.I had other things to do. My kids needed to be picked up from school, my wife had a appointment at the salon, I had errands to run before going out of town...David reworked the schedule so he could get the van in and start working immediately - had the parts ordered, and a price to me in less than 5 minutes time. He was even kind enough to let me use HIS personal vehicle while mine was being worked on to limit my inconvenience and still allow me to complete all my errands. I was impressed. He said” You’re trusting me with your vehicle, so I’m happy trusting you with mine.”About 4 hours later, he sent me a bunch of pics of the old vs new parts, so I could see what was really happening under the hood and why the work was necessary. He gained my trust. He was honest, personally very helpful, and professional. He kept me updated on timing, and solely thanks to him - my day was barely inconvenienced and my family and I can proceed safely and with confidence on our road trip. This was well above and beyond the quality of service that I expected. I was actually considering going to Jiffy Lube earlier that morning. David was so personable and worked with me and got me in and out in less than 30 minutes. It took 2 days to get a diagnosis on my vehicle. No one called to give me any information. I had to call to find out what was going on and the person answering the phone was rude, the person on the office was rude. I received 1 phone call from the technician who service my vehicle and because he was very polite I continued with the service but I intended to pick up my vehicle and wait to send it to the dealership. I didnt receive a call telling me that they had serviced my vehicle, once again I had to call and speak with the same rude individual. While I understand every business is run differently I am very certain that I will not use this business again.

Outstanding service at a fair price. They fixed a minor issue for me and charged me $0. This was a loose connection at the battery terminal that was causing my car to not start. Not being a car-guy this raised my anxiety level. I called, did not have an appt, they worked me in and I was back in service in less than an hour, quenching my anxiety. Thank you.

My vehicle had a bad wheel bearing the and mechanics did a great job repairing my vehicle. The wheel bearing job was very complex and they were able to complete the same day. This type of job would take more than one day to complete but not for the mechanics at Meineke. A job well done and i appreciate their overall service. I went there due to my car needing repairs. I was referred there by advance auto advanced. When I told Dave (the guy working behind the desk) that I was from Greenville he smiled very big. It wS almost like he saw dollar signs. After the diagnostic was done he told me that it would be $700 to fix my car. Thank God I was able to find another mechanic that was able to fix my car for $60, I would have to purchase the part but it would only cost $150. I was surprised and shocked that a company would over charge that much.
