The folks at this shop did good work on my vehicle. I had been traveling between states (SC/GA);when my vehicle took a nose dive on the July 4th weekend. I called on BigTow wrecker service for transport and the driver suggested I try Carpenter’s.After the observation of the holiday on that Monday, I contacted the shop, to make them aware that I had my vehicle dropped off there.The people I had been in contact with were kind; they all told me that I’d be ready by the end of the week and that it would cost x amount for the repair but it would be dependent on a part that was not readily available(that part took 3 weeks from the time it was brought there). I’m happy with their work, but not with the time it took. Timing is everything I guess; at the end of the day you’ll be happy with this shop’s work.

Great place had brakes done. After 2weeks heard a rubbing sound they checked it over had the car 2days. Gave it back NO extra charge.

I rate these folks/business an excellent place to service my car. Very efficient service and kind pleasant employees. Its the only place I take my car.

In 2020, you need good people with you. Carpenters my people. Frank and the crew great work and friendly. The young LADY upfront smiling and welcoming. All with working man pricing.

Carpenters took care of my needs in an expedient fashion, charged minimally for labor, and stayed open past their normal hours just to get me fixed up that day when they could have told me to come back the next day. Would use again.

If you only want your vehicles manufactured parts, which come with a price, this is your place. They did help me diagnose my problem for only $25 which was a huge help (reason for 2 stars instead of 1).BUT. To get the repairs needed done would have cost me $1100! Claiming the parts were $450 a piece. I did some research and called several places only finding the most expensive, top of the line parts for $280 a piece. Did the work myself and saved $600.So. Again, if you only want parts from your cars manufacturer, this place should be your go to. But. If youre okay with equally, if not better, made parts by other manufacturers for half the price, do your research and save yourself. 🙌

This was my 4th time there and I dont plan on going anywhere else. It seemed everywhere else they never got it right the first time. Frank at Carpenters is 4-4 and counting and all 4 times it took less than a day to jobs that took at least 2 days at othe places.In addition the lady who handles the administrative side of things is very friendly and communicates with customers to get you options and then informs u when your vehicle is ready....I am hard to please I am embarassed to say but this business gets As across the board except for front parking....but thats a small thing. If you live in downtown Augusta or in north Augusta and you go anywhere else you are making a mistake.

I went away from my first experience with his Auto place so excited and feeling Blessed. Frank quickly came to see how could help, so pleasant and quickly replaced my tire. I said my oil light was on could that be taken care of and he had that done efficiently so. Everyone there was very pleasant, I have been telling everyone since my need was handled and certainly didn’t take advantage of this widow lady. Prices so reasonable. THANKS CARPENTER FAMILY

They worked really hard to figure out the issue with our vehicle. Our car was a problem car and Im sure it was irritating them, both finding the issue and my constant calls, but they were very patient and treated us well!

If you need a good shop to go to try Carpenters tire and oil, I had to have a water pump replaced. I dropped it off last night for them to fix it today, and by 2 pm I received a call telling me my repairs were finished and the price was very reasonable. And very honest people.

Honest pricing. Good service. Dont be in a hurry.

Always upfront with their prices. I dont like the woman they have answering the phones. She can be quite rude. Other than that, the mechanics are great at explaining what needs to get done and they are very reasonable with their prices for parts and labor.

Definitely want to help this place in the review department. VERY cost effective and honest. I have used them once, my parents have used them multiple times. They dont try to break your piggy bank and they dont try to upcharge or sell you services you dont need. They are even more cost effective if you can bring them the parts you need replaced. Great people. Always full and will always try to get you in as soon as they can. Highly recommended...and I do recommend them every chance I get. Well done Carpenters!
