I have been coming to this salon for 15 years, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my textured, wavy hair cut and styled. Ron is the best. He is as skilled as any downtown/NYC stylist, and he actually listens to what I want...and delivers. In addition, the receptionists are as sweet as can be. It is always a pleasant experience coming here.

I contacted them for information wedding services at my photographers recommendation. Over a two week period, I sent several emails with a few basic questions about their rates and policies, and was completely ignored. I then followed upon their facebook page. I got a response to the message there, but it was uninformative and useless. Subsequent follow-ups were completely ignored and deleted from their site. They have made it clear they have no interest in my business and dont care about me as a potential customer. No thank you! There are better salons out there that actually care about me.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.... I asked for balayage, and melissa bleached half my hair so much lighter than what i asked, and charged me 140 for one treatment without blending anything. She was dying my hair according to what she wanted instead of what I had asked for. I went back for a correction and she was extremely defensive and called over 4 other people to witness what I said to her. She was very stubborn and felt that she did nothing wrong, when my hair looked nothing like the picture that I had shown her before. I felt harassed after I asked them to fix it, and even told me that i would have to pay to get it taken out. The owner even told me that my orange hair was what balayage was supposed to look like with the bottom of my hair jet black and the top of my head orange. I felt horrible sitting in the chair for the time that melissa was putting toner in my hair, and i was so uncomfortable, that i couldnt even say that i still hated how my hair looked. They treated me horribly, and i believe that it is because I was a darker skin tone as i did not see anyone else of darker skin color in the salon ever. This salon is definitely the worst experience i have ever had at any salon in my life. I also believe that they treated me badly because I am a student. the environment at this salon is not very friendly since they believe that they are untouchable because they are redken certified. That doesnt matter if you cant treat your customers with respect and kindness. Just a tip, save your money and go somewhere that is more respectful and professional, with stylists and owners that will respect what you say instead of becoming defensive and careless about correcting their mistakes.
