The insulation went really smooth with no issues. All of the installers were very professional. Since this system is all wireless, I though that it would be great not having all the wire to be run to each location. The first day after insulation the picture kept freezing up with the screen showing Sorry, an error has occurred. Please change channels to try again 4-44-821. I contacted tech support, they reset the system. This did not resolve the issue. Also when changing channels it took a while for the next channel to show up a very slow system. In comparing this product with other suppliers it is lacking. After three days hoping that it would get better, it did not. I canceled the service and returned their equipment.
It took much too long to have access to fiber - over 4 weeks. Once we got the right OEC guys to do the groundwork and bring fiber into the house, it went SUPER quick. And the guys were terrific to work with. We think we just had a little skip in the process and overall are very happy now.
I am super impressed with the service from OEC Fiber. It does take a bit to get installed but it is well worth the wait. Everyone I have been in contact with has been extremely professional.
I recently switched to OEC Fiber Internet. Their customer service prior to the installation was excellent. They patiently answered all my questions about their services. Once I decided to make the change, they went over the entire process from start to finish as well as possible timelines. The installation was quick and efficient. The tech was extremely professional and worked with me to determine the best placement for the device. He was thorough in his explanation of the equipment. They allow a 2 hour window for installations, but there were no issues and he was done after only 40 minutes. From start to finish, working with the OEC staff was a pleasure!

We have been happy with the internet so we decided to try the TV. We have had the service 4 days and keep getting this message on screen showing Sorry, an error has occurred. I love my WIFI it’s amazing & so strong all over my home. I gave four stars because I’m still getting used to Fiber Cable. I know your working on the Guide button on the remote, that will be great when it happens. I do wish your standard subscription offered better stations. The next is your advance, you need something in between so there could be more stations but not all.Otherwise I’m pleased with quality of my picture & your technical support when I’ve called them.

We had COX prior to OEC and we didnt have a great experience. This has been significantly better.Additionally, they came in and did the job right the first time.

The workers were all great. The service is really good. It just took way to long to get connected. It took almost 4 weeks just to get it all set up and turned on. For all the positive reviews and word of mouth that I heard before requesting service that they would be more on top of things to get it turned on in a timely manner.
Having been a cable plow owner/operator long ago I was apprehensive about letting a crew chew through my yard as I have sprinklers everywhere but, I was pleasantly surprised at the great job OEC contractors did for me. The gentleman and I discussed the best route for the job and they went to work. They hand wedged a long stretch of the yard to make sure they didnt cut anything and didnt. Having been an installer years ago I was impressed as it was hard to tell where they had been after doing an impressive job covering their tracks. The inside cable installer did a good job setting up the rest. Great job all around!!
Install was painless. We were kept updated along the way. Inside install tech was first class. Internet speed over the wireless is 104 both ways. Haven’t checked wired speed but all devices working well. Goodbye and good riddance to old provider (6 to8 service interruptions a day).

We anticipated significantly improved speed with OEC fiber. It is EXCELLENT. In trying to change some surveillance cameras to the new network, we had some problems. We called OEC, half expecting we would have to buy new cameras. The specialist was very helpful. We really were not expecting someone who would walk us through the whole changeover but he did so willingly and in language easy to understand.

We got service much quicker than quoted and it has been great. Even the first billing cycle was straight forward - I’ve never had that happen. No lags like before when watching tv during peak hours!! If you are on the fence, it is worth every extra penny!

OEC was out a couple of months ago working on something and they were on my property (I did not have their service at the time). They left a giant hole on in our yard. I called to have it fixed. (Its a very big safety issue!) 2 men came out to fix it. (Id also like to note this was months after they were initially out digging) When my spouse was out mowing, he went right into the hole! They did not fix it!Now, we decided to switch to OEC fiber. Since Ive called to have it set up, I have dealt with an extremely unprofessional experience with these people. Im considering just cancelling them to set up service. Ill update more after the VERY late and unprofessional man Ive been dealing with gets here to bury the lines today.
Excellent. I live in a rural area and this has made working remotely a breeze. Way better than my previous carrier that was giving me 6MB down and 0.5 up on a 12 MB plan, with OEC Fiber I get 105 MB up and down in the 100 MB plan. Would recommend to anyone in their service area!

All care was taken during the line and home install. I couldnt be happier to tell Cox that their services were no longer needed. No more data caps or video conferencing woes due to slow upload speeds. No more Cox marketing gimmicks either. Service was excellent, service man even got all the cameras set up for me, & was not in a hurry to leave. Checked everything before he left to make sure everything was working right. I would recommend to anyone on OEC to connect to OEC Fiber, it is also very stable and fast connection.
While it took a while to get them to our side of the street, lol. They are as advertised. I have them at home and work now. Not a fan of the 1 year contract for businesses. Otherwise, a great company and service!
From the professional and courteous installation team who skillfully trenched across my 1 acre yard to my garage and made only a faint scar on the lawn...to the excellent and early system installer who got me up and running ahead of schedule...and even the call center folks who stepped me through the process and scheduled all the activity....it was a smooth and calm experience. I cannot recommend these folks strongly enough!
This company is well organized, friendly, and professional. They got me up and running quicker than they estimated (a winning philosophy - promise small and deliver big) They came prepared - brought all the equipment needed the first trip, including a wireless network extender in case my house was big enough to need it - installed it and I have wifi throughout the house - no extra charge and no initial or recurring charge for any of the equipment. A job well done and a very reasonable price for fast and reliable internet access.

I currently am using the wifi to write this review!I had called about 3 months ago and asked if they had fiber in our area yet, and they did not but were working on it. About a month later i got an email saying Fiber was available now cause i had filled out an interest form on their website. My wife called and told them we wanted to start service about a month ago, and they said it may be 4-6 weeks. Well its only been 3 1/2 weeks!Like i said, Nick and Dalton just left, and they were very polite, professional, and did a great job! Were very impressed and pleased with the install job and their quality of work. Seemed like very genuinely good guys! OEC should give those guys a raise(just my opinion).Wife works great!! We, like most businesses, could not have any down time in our transition from our previous provider to OEC. Transition of Fiber and phones took less than a couple of hours. The process was so easy. Each person we worked with was knowledgeable and professional.
I had called about 5 weeks ago to begin service. I knew it would be a process since a line had to come directly to the house. I was surprised how quickly they began working on it. The home installation was a great experience as well. In and out in less than 2 hours and now we can enjoy fast internet in every room of our house! 100% recommend.

I have never been this unhappy about the timeliness of installation in my life. I ordered OEC fiber 6 weeks ago and still little to no progress has been made. I had planned for it to be installed before I started my work which is remote. When calling customer support, they would give me a probable deadline and the schedule as to how everything is going to go down and then nobody shows up to make any progress. If there were any progress to be made, they apparently messed up and now I have to wait even longer for them to come back out here. Customer support told me after a month that they would expedite the process but rather, now it’s taking even longer. This level of unprofessionalism is truly disappointing as I’ve heard many good things about this company. I can only hope that the service can at least meet up to what was advertised, but overall, not a great start with this company.
The installation of the OEC Fiber went very smoothly .Having dealt with multiple satellite and phone line internet’s the fiber choice is as advertised for our rural area.Don’t see how it can get any better!

Terrible service from the very beginning, a complete rip -off !!!1). They promised great high speed internet using optical fiber. The result? Hardly any improvement compared to AT&T DSL.2) I was charged $150 for new installation. The result? The technicians didnt even finish the installation. After one month, I called and complained about the unfinished installation. Their response? I need to pay another $75 for the technician to come over to finish the installation!3) They sent a cut -off notice on 08/27/2021 claiming there is a past due balance of $39.20. I took care of the $39.20 balance by paying online on 09/06/2021. But my internet service was cut off on 09/08/2021. Absolutely horrible !!!! If you ever call the customer service phone line and talk to the reps, you will experience hellish customer experience, Guaranteed !!!!4) Based on my experience, sever relation with OEC Fiber and switch back to AT&T is an easy decision.
My overall experience has been positive as expected. The OEC installation staff has been very courteous and got us up and running on time as promised. The internet service has been running from day one without interruption. Thank you OEC Fiber

I’m impressed with the speed of the installation of the fiber optic cable and I’m satisfied with the performance of the internet speed the installation work was done very well and professionally however I was made aware of a conduit that ran from my house to the main connection pedestal I would have preferred for that method of connecting instead of the trenching but it all when well and I’m looking forward to a long and lasting service with OEC

I cant begin to describe how great it is to call customer service and get someone local on the line that actually cares about getting my issues taken care of. The only time I ever reached a customer service representative with AT&T that didnt live in India was when I called to cancel my service and they were begging me to stay. Scheduled a fresh install with OEC Fiber, the whole process was quick and professional! They came out and had the line dropped and the service installed in less than 10 days from the original request. The technicians were fast, efficient, and professional. Weve had the service for a couple of days and have noticed speed increases on the wifi through our phones and have improved stability with online gaming! 10/10 would recommend!
I changed to OEC Fiber to get faster connections for the same price I was paying for another service. The fiber line installers were very considerate of how and where they were placing the underground line and avoided all other utilities currently in the yard. The inside installer was very quick and efficient at placing the line where we wanted it in the home. We were up and running immediately. Total good experience

Once the process of laying the fiber line to our house was started, the whole process only took 3 or 4 days. Each crew that did their part were very nice. The actual installer into our house did an excellent job locating the perfect location for the router. We have a strong wifi signal throughout the whole house.

Our experience with OEC fiber is wonderful!! Every person that I spoke with from the office while waiting was very kind & helpful. The contractors & OEC guys were also great. The fiber is unbelievably fast! We operate many devices (laptops for work, streaming TV, phones, tablets, etc) at once & it hasn’t missed a beat even in rainy weather. It was worth the wait but be prepared to wait 6 weeks or more, so plan accordingly.

They would not install the port and modem in our it closet. Instead installed it upstairs. Because it would require more work.Update: OEC called and had guys out the next day to address the issues. Thanks for the quick resolution.
It was a great experience from start to end. The order process was easy and the install was super easy. The installer was great. One thing that could be better is after the order was placed there was no real communication. After a week I wasnt sure my order even went through. Overall a great service though!
The internet is not fast at all and we are paying for the premium service. The service we have is probably 3 times slower than cable was. It also has some crazy spikes during peak hours and nearly died every morning around 3am.
The gentleman that came into our home to install our internet was the most professional person I have done business with in a long time. Up on entering our house he put on a mask and covers over his shoes.He worked very quickly and was very respectful of all the work and all the renovation we have done on our new home. He was so easy to talk to and through everything we needed to know. He also made sure our devices were connected and work properly. One of the best experiences we have had in a while. When we got OEC fiber at our country home I was ecstatic. After install the speed was a huge upgrade (1000mbps) but then everything started to unravel. Almost every day of the week we experience a massive throttling around 6pm - 12pm. Like speeds drop to kilobytes per second with no upload. I spent 2 weeks with probably 10 different customer support reps (most of which tier 2) trying to get it figure out. They installed a new modem, I bought new routers twice, new ethernet lines, new switches, direct connects to multiple PCs bypassing the routers and nothing resolved the problem. Finally I just gave up and accepted the fact that I need to do all my Internet work before 6pm. At the end of the day Ill stick with them and pay full price ($80 a month, even though I dont get full service) because there is nothing better, but I leave this warning so new people know what exactly they are getting.

Switched from Cox. Tired of keeping up with the price changes after each promotion ended. Pleasantly surprised to find out that Im paying less and the quality of the service is far superior to what we were getting the past several years. My husband works from home, and the random service interruptions he was having have stopped. Our evening streaming services actually stay connected. And we were paying cox for preferred 150. Had a positive experience with all who did the line checks, the line install, and the inside setup. If youre waiting to switch, its time.

From the day I scheduled it, OEC was on top of everything. They were out marking lines the next day and within 2 weeks everything was set up. All of the folks Ive dealt with have been amazing. I cant recommend them enough, if its available get it asap, if it isnt, request it. Theyre amazing!

Service hookup was completed 2 weeks before it was planned to start. All three groups of technicians that visited the house were super polite and professional. The technician actually pulling the fiber in the house allowed me to shadow him and see how it was done.Tech support for the account work was quick and professional. Wait times on the phone were very low. If I asked a question that the OEC representative didnt know, the found out extremely quickly.Im now paying 20% less for 3X the speed of what Cox could of provided me at my previous residence. I cant speak for network reliability or uptime yet as I have only had the service for a week or so, but none of my devices have noticed a disconnect.
