Charged me 387 dollars plus tip. They didn’t sweep the floors they did t clean walls. They left our windows open to the house. And the house is just as filthy as they came to it.
AVOID AT ALL COSTWe called Active Cleaning in regards to an ad we saw online for cleaning services. The lady on the phone, who was the owner Kaci, was nice as could be. She ran down a list of what I needed cleaned (kitchen, stove, fridge, bathrooms, base boards, ceiling fans, baseboards, small foyer by front door) and agreed to have a cleaning crew arrive at 3:30pm on Tuesday 6-30. I arrived early to allow them access to the property. No one showed. I called and asked for an ETA. I was told “I’ll call you right back” and they still didn’t call back.Finally after reaching out thrice, one lady showed up. I remained at the property for a while to move around some items. The cleaning lady sat on her phone, fully engaged in conversation, while take her time to get started on actually cleaning. I asked her about where the rest of the crew was and she said they were on their way. I had paid for 3 cleaners.A second cleaning person did not arrive until around 2 hours later. I left thinking two people would knock the job out together. After coming back after they had been in the property for 4 hours total, not much had been done.The baseboards hadn’t been done in the entire property. The windowsills hadn’t been done. They hadn’t vacuumed. They hadn’t mopped. They took FOUR hours to clean a bathroom and wipe down kitchen cabinets.This job was small and other companies would have knocked it out with 2-3 people in two to three hours. I deeply regret hiring this company. I had to get on my hands and knees and start cleaning so they could finish in a time appropriate for me to end my evening despite me paying for this.They gave me a whopping $25 discount and then left. Turns out, they didn’t even clean the stove which was one of the biggest things I requested to be cleaned. Upon calling Active Cleaning, Kaci insisted she would refund me via cashapp to make up for them not cleaning the stove. It’s been two full business days and I haven’t heard back.AVOID AVOID AVOID.
