New or old a great spot for games( though selection for oldies varies a bit), aesthetics good and staffs friendly. A pretty sizable spot for figures and statues as well.

Video Game Heaven (Norfolk) is the most likely place to fine rare games in store compared to the achesapeake, Virginia Beach or Cool Stuff locations. Great store, helpful employees, wide selection. The only downside is some of their rarer titles are overpriced. But being a local game store I can understand they need to charge a little extra to keep the lights on. Definitely check them out if you are in the area!

Visiting from out of town and i came here based on some recommendations from friends and family. I was not disappointed. The layout was great. The store has a family feel and the staff was super helpful. The selection was great and even though i didnt grab anything, i cannot wait to go back next time im in town.

Me and my friend bought a Xbox and a few games for like 200 dollars in near mint condition. The employees were nice, respectful,and cooperative.

The staff make this place. Whatever minor inconveniences Ive experienced (website stock not being up-to-date, personnel not present at register) have been entirely mitigated by some fantastic customer service. They have researched stock for me at different stores without me having to ask and have been so friendly and polite. I may only have a year left in the area, but Ill be damned if I go anywhere else for my games until then.

SO neat and organized inside. Great selection of all games - including retro, which is what we collect. Tons of specials - BOGO type deals. Prices are reasonable and about industry standard. Employee was very professional and checked on us several times. Parking will be street parking unless you’re lucky enough to get one of the spots in the lot behind the building, which is shared with several other businesses.

My PlayStation 4 hard drive was corrupted I bringing my own hard drive that I bought jump drive and everything needed to upgrade just didnt have the capabilities to do it on my own they still try to charge me $248 that is crazy

My friend took me out to this store because they apparently sold some anime figurines because he knows I like them. Going here, the store was really nice, they had a lot of video games, plushies, and figurines. I saw one that I liked in the display case and asked one of the staff up front if they had another box lying around on the shelves and he checked and there were none so I said okay, I’ll take the one in the display case. Now keep in mind, I couldn’t tell by just looking at the display case to inspect if there was anything wrong with it. He took it out of the display case, took it apart, and put it in its original box. I paid and left. Here’s where I got a little bit upset. When I got home, I took it out of its box and started assembling it but noticed that the piece that would normally go into the base plate of the figurine had something in it. Right there I noticed that it was a piece of the figurines little peg from the foot area broken off and stuck into the base. I only paid about $35 so not that big of a deal but honestly, i don’t know if he broke it upon dissembling it or just sold me a slightly broken figurine without notifying me. But all I know is that I’m most likely not going to return back here. It was a nice store but I would definitely check the items you’re about to purchase first.

So I am someone who has to give credit when credit is due. Yesterday I had posted a pretty bad review for a situation that had happened. After the review was posted a member of management did reach out to me, pretty fast actually! We were able to come up with a fair resolution for the situation. I honestly appreciate them more than they know because this is my families favorite and go to store! The staff is always very friendly, very knowledgeable and always very helpful! They will always be our #1 go to and we will always recommend them to others! Video game heaven thank you for all that you do!

Ive been going to VGH for years. The prices are spot on to what they should be, so they arent marked up from what you get for buying online. Trade in value is better than gamestop. All platforms are carried and the collectibles are so cute!

This place has great service and great prices. They alsi have classic games. My wife and I bought a Nintendo 64 with a controller for either $60 or $70. They also had extra colored controllers as well as a game cube controller and a game cube memory card. We love this store and this location. We also got a game for the Xbox 360 for a lot cheaper than it was at Gamestop. We returned the one I got at Gamestop.

I came in last Sunday and the store was packed. That was a great sight to see. The employees were extremely helpful answering everyones questions and helping them with everything. Mike helped me find exactly what i was looking for and answered all my questions i had about the product. I am extremely pleased with my visit to this location. I dont play video games, and this certainly isnt one of my usual haunts; however, when I went here a few Saturdays ago I was pretty pleased to find a place like this in Norfolk. The style is evocative, the selection of items is diverse, and the staff not only seems to care about their products, but also are genuinely kind to customers who dont really know what theyre talking about. These guys probably put up with a lot and the fact that theyre so kind speaks volumes.

I have for the most part enjoyed buying from this store. Unfortunately, buying xbox 360s from here seem to be fruitless. Twice I have bought a 360 and both times it has not worked correctly for very long.

I went in to trade Spyro Reignited trilogy (mind you I checked to make sure the disc was in case) so the way the male cashier took the game out of the case placed a crack in the center ring then told me they can’t take it cause it’s too deep. They need to be more gentle with merchandise that’s brought in they grab it without care

Fun little game store in Ghent. Has a wide selection of games from many different generations of consoles. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Prices can tend to be on the higher side for older generation games and consoles. Current gen prices are standard, if not below traditional pricing. One of the best used game stores in Norfolk regardless.

Great shop! I got a used Xbox One from them and wasnt happy with the controller. I exchanged it once and then wasnt happy with the exchange once I got it home (Im usually not THAT guy, really). They took it back again with a smile and no hassle and now I have a system and controller Im totally happy with! Great customers service and made sure I left satisfied.

Some really cool retro gaming stuff in there. Everyone is super helpful and informative. Great store for collecting(EDIT: I went into this store to trade some games in for money, it took 30 minutes to scan 15 games and the value was 5.30$... went online to see if the games were actually that much and was blown away at the rip off that just happened! Some games were up to 240$! I moved my 5 star to a 1 bc of this)

I really loved the feel of the store. It was my first time going to a video game heaven but it was so nice. I will more than likely never go to a game stop again. They had everything you could really want. I havent been able to find a nice ps2 memory card that I could rely on, but this store had one.
