Finance and sales managers were great and very helpful in getting the right finance fare. We are very happy with Rick Hendrick Chevrolet!! We will definitely return.

My vehicle was in the shop for 2 months had an engine replaced. I got my vehicle back on 9/30/21, and that same day every time I turned off my car I had to get a jump to get it started I returned the vehicle the same day and expressed the issue I was told that the vehicle was working properly upon pick up which is false because how can the vehicle work properly if I have to jump it every time to start it mind you this is all in the same day of picking up the vehicle. I am then charged 411$ to fix a issue that should’ve been fixed already and I believe I shouldn’t have been charged for the service!

Usually have great service experiences but this time was the worst. I took my wifes Traverse in to fix the A/C on a Thursday before my appointment on Friday at 1000. The car was not looked at until Monday and the only way I found out was that I had to call and find out the status. A cooling coil had to be replaced and that took until Wednesday. Drove the car home and it started to overheat. Called and was told to bring it back the next morning. Fast forward to Friday and was told the car had air pockets in the coolant that was fixed. I guess they had to run the car to make sure it didnt overheat but ran down the gas to empty and gave me the car. I didnt even have the energy to say anything. I just left in search of a gas station. Took about a week for the repair.UPDATE: Service Manager did reach out to make things right. I do feel better that they acknowledged and wanted to correct the issues. Like I said in the first part of the review, Ive had great experiences before.

I am not happy today. Its 330 and just called for status of car. I took a day off from my military work to get this surgery check and status postpone til tomorrow. I should get call sooner so I can rearrange my schedule. Other cars need to be fix so why I have an appt then. When we do doctor for check up, we get referrals or come back to fix problems. Now I dont even get courtsy rental car and wont get it done til tomorrow afternoon. And if I come back on Monday or Tuesday, the schedule is fully booked.I totally understand covid has put pressure on everyone in this world. Sorry I just want to vent.Thanks for assistant.

Car buying experience was great, but the service department could use some improvement. Set up appointment for my truck. After a little over a day I heard no update so I tried to call and no one answered. Had to go back to service department for them to tell me they didnt look at my truck yet because they didnt have enough techs At the time. I understand fully this can happen, but it would be nice to get a least a call updating me on the situation being this is my main transportation to work.

Was absolutely the worst after taking my car there with having a appointment nothing was done left it being told that it would be the first one the next morning nothing was done picked it up later the next day to find know one bothered to call text or email nothing still done to car. Myself having the warranty plan and a appointment very disappointing what was the need of having either when I picked my car up just as I left it so frustrated....

Waited weeks for this appointment and they told me they couldnt find the problem. Got in and the air conditioner was on the highest setting with the radio all the way up. Of course you cant find the issue when youre throwing a party in my vehicle. I turned the air and radio off and what do you know..I can hear the problem as soon as I back out of the parking space.

June 30 2021. Hendrick Chevy located a new trail boss Z71 for me in a tough truck market. Communication was spot on. No surprises. I was pleasantly surprised how smooth the new truck buying evolution turned out. Chris Griffin was my main contact and kept me informed and answered all my questions. Thanks Chris. Tyler was my sales person, he was very patient with us. We looked at many cars and drove several and he always answered with a smile. We appreciate his personal approach and also the fact that he spoke to us in our native language Spanish. Shawn was also very helpful in supporting the sale by helping us focus on the criteria that was important to us. The finance team went out of their way to help us find the right interest rate in order to help us better manage our monthly payments. It is easy to see how well everyone works as a team and supportive of each other. Great things were said about Mr. Hendrick by his employees. When someone respects and values the owner so much it says great things about the place I am doing business in. I also want to give a shout out to Mayanelis (I don’t think I am spelling her name correctly) She was the icing on the cake as we finished signing all our paperwork, she explained with much clarity what our package entailed.It’s been a while since I have bought a car, I was reluctant as in the past sales people tended to be pushy. I did not find any pushy sales people, on the contrary, I found a great team that works like a well oiled machine who love their job and are very good at it as well as people that care you get what you want. I had an appointment at 9:15am to do a diagnostic on my car. I hadnt anything by 2:30pm and my husband talked to the manager and was told I should hear something in an hour. I received text messages at 4ish and didnt get a call until almost 5pm and they close at 6pm so that meant they had my car all day and couldnt repair it if I wanted them to that day.

My experience is typical for so called experts, when they fail to exhibit their expertise in their craft. If you ask them how long theyve been in business and check on all the things they have missed, when being the expert, theyll make it the customers loss instead of wowing us with their empathy as well as their reliance on relationship building, they mostly renege.But, they and the insurance companies are hand in hand with denying true customer service and care. I wish I knew or had the ability to create a business in their sectors and take all their customers by providing the kind of service they lack.

I usually have a good experience, but yesterday I didnt. I had a 9:30am appointment to drop my car off for service and I told the person when I made the appointment that I would need my car back by 2pm because I had to pick my children up. I was given a Lyft ride home, but there was no communication about my car at all. I called after 2:30pm to be told that my car hadnt been started yet. I had no other way of picking my children up and I became really irritated. The advisor Belen told me she would see if my car could be next. I was finally able to pick my car up well after 4:30pm. I was not a satisfied customer and Ive been coming to Rick Hendrick since 2011.

Less one star because of the battery left in my back seat without notice.😳 Other than that...pretty good service.Less one more star because MY Advisor was not sure if warranty covered the service and advised price 😳in error in the beginning but the end result was correct. Took 3 days to finish the job and there was a wait list for a loaner😣..highest Ive ever paid for a battery replacement😳but the AC is blowing cool now😎so will not complain....too much.It was okay

I walked into the service department fully expecting it to be just like the previous four years (purchased 2017 Suburban at Rick Hendrick in the fall of 2017). My past experience has not been close to what I would consider even marginal customer service. But, then, there was today! Janae was my service rep and she was SPECTACULAR! When I told her how much I appreciate her, she brought over the service manager and I found out he was new (about 7 months) and was making a huge push to change the atmosphere and I will attest that he has things on the right track. I had made a decision to never again purchase a vehicle from this dealer due to the service department and today I changed my mind. A truly awesome turn around and I applaud the changes!!

This is the second time I have taken my car here and both times have been less than stellar performance. The first occasion the tech forgot to put my oil cap back on leaving my hood ajar and unsafe. This last occasion I was charged a tire rotation fee and did not receive the service. After inspecting my tires there was a curb mark on the tire which allowed me to determine the tires were not rotated. I did not receive a refund but only a credit which forces me to come back or lose money. After I use my credit I will not be returning.

My experience was very pleasant. I dealt with Matthew Latif and the sales manager Rick. There was never any pressure. I left without completing a deal, only because of my budget. I would have to say this was one of the most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever been apart of. From the walking in the door, the entire team went above and beyond to take care of us. Chris was personable and relatable and made the process of looking at trucks super simple and enjoyable. At no point did we feel like we were just another number to be added to the sales total. This carried through to the loan team and the sales manager. When I finally got my truck and was doing the final walk around, I noticed a paint scratch and Chris never hesitated to make things right. I came back in on Monday and got everything fixed up and looking perfect. This whole experience really was incredible and I would recommend Rick Hendrick to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

Unfortunately I had bought a truck from here about a month and a half ago. My salesperson was good but everything else was probably the worst thing I have ever experienced. Not only did i have to come back 4 times for their mess ups not once was my gas taken care of when I live pretty out of the way. They charged me almost 5 grand for a service contract that I did not sign up for (and they knew what they did) I found out when I went to make my first payment. I went down there to cancel it and they didn’t seem to care that they messed up. Also before that they lost my plates and it took over a month to get them. I’m happy with my truck but seeing how poorly they operate is sad especially when I work at a dealership. I’ve been to many and have never seen one this bad. Make sure you inspect everything they do because they are very sneaky. Everything was pretty unprofessional and the managers did not even speak to me or care that I was even there.

I purchased my vehicle earlier this year at this location because they had the best selection of inventory. This week I was making final preparations to ship my car overseas for a military move, and found a recall popped up last month. The vehicle shipping company won’t ship vehicles with active recalls so I was in a bind. Even though the schedule was full I dropped my car off and the service department was able to squeeze me in before the end of the day. Special thanks to Janae in the service department for her understanding, caring, and thoughtfulness.My move overseas has been a challenging process, and I’m grateful to the team at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet for helping me out when I really needed it.

He was very helpful, patient and took the time to really assist in my request. I came in for maintenance but I also requested to have a new key and remote for my vehicle. We dropped our vehicle off at 9:30am for a SCHEDULED oil change and it was ignored all day. We had to call and inquire about it at 5pm to check on the status, and that is how we found out that no one even started working on it yet. We had to wait until the next day to get it because of this which was very inconvenient and unprofessional. Not to mention that the staff did not even seem apologetic. Horrible customer service

Yesterday I purchased my first new vehicle on my own and was worried about having a bad experience or paying to much. After doing research on car dealers in my area, ended up at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. I scheduled my appointment online. Once I arrived our sales rep was Joshua L. Very helpful. He walked us threw step by step. Not at one point did I feel pressured by him. It took a few back and forth with the finance guy to negotiate a price I was comfortable with, but we got there. Every question was answered professionally. I ended up in the car I came for, the 2021 Traverse Lt. It is a beautiful car, Joshua walked us threw every feature on the Traverse. He was very knowledgeable about this car, which was amazing. Because it would have taken me month to figure it all out. This was the best experience and I would definitely buy a car from Joshua again. Thank you!

I took my vehicle in for an oil change. While I was there, I asked them to take a look at my AC it was not working. Eventually I get a phone call stating that my AC would be $890 to fix. I asked them not to fix it as I will have to think about the repair. When I went to pick up my car the next day, they hadnt even changed my oil- which is what I brought it in for! I was told I owed them $140 which was never explained to me at drop off. I feel like they took advantage of me, especially since I was able to get my AC fixed at another service center for under $300. I have emailed twice, texted and called the service manager for several weeks and have received no response back. They clearly do not care about keeping their customers. So disappointing and I feel like I was ripped of for $140.Edit to respond to the below comment: No one ever reached out to me! Stay away from their service department.

Chris Griffin has a very positive attitude. He listened well to my wife and I. He found out exactly what we wanted and explained well the various option packages. He showed us their inventory before talking numbers. He and his sales manager were very helpful during the negotiation process.Chris was always likable and NEVER overbearing or pushy in his communication or attitude. Service department at Hendricks Cadillac leaves much to be desired. They dont return phone calls. Have been trying to get rear shocks ordered for my 2014 Cadillac since 07/12/2021. This is is a parts warranty service. Customer service doesnt seem to be a priority for this dealership.

The staff, at the height of the pandemic, were incredibly reluctant to wear masks even when interacting with customers when sitting 2 feet from them. Their sales team were relentless even when told explicitly I was not interested in buying the car that day. They have no respect for the customer and it couldn’t be more evident from the moment I sat down with their staff. They talk about how great the company’s reputation is, but I left quite disenchanted. I ended up getting a better vehicle for cheaper at a used car dealership. You’ll overpay if you shop here.

I wouldve recommended this place in the very beginning. People were friendly, professional, fast paced, and were helpful. I was there to sell my car to the business since I was moving overseas to Japan. The first person I was being helped by, use to work in the mechanical department in the past, was amazing. I cannot remember the name since this was about 2-3 months ago since this occurred and he deserves to be recognized for his professionalism and how helpful he was. He answered any questions I had and was breaking things down for me so I could answer the selling questions for a price value. Once everything was done, he had to swap out for the person who was to help finish the process for me.If I remembered the second persons name correctly, his name was Markcus that was helping me out. I wasnt impressed at all. It seemed like he had no interest in helping me trying to sell them my car. He mentioned since my car had a loan, there wasnt anything they could do to buy my car since it wasnt being traded in, there wasnt a finance department nearby to assist, I had to go call my bank and figure out how to sell my car since they cant buy out vehicles if the owner doesnt have the title first before the sell. I called my bank to figure things out and they explained the process to me and they were asking questions that the sales representatives should have know. They were floored that I wasnt able to sell my car to the dealership when I was told that I was told there wasnt anything they could do. So, I ended up leaving with a poor ending of a visit and a sour taste in my mouth. I definitely wouldnt come back here to any future business since that impression was horrible at the end.

I went in for service on my 2004 Chevy Tahoe Z71. I knew that my Tahoe was on her last leg but I wanted to see what the damage was. After considering all the money that I kept in it and the thought of safety reasons, I decided that it was time to look for another vehicle. I’m always disappointed whenever I have my 2020 Traverse serviced here. It took 3+ hours to have my oil changed and tires rotated when I had an appointment made over 3 weeks ago. The fact that the earliest I could even bring my car in to have it serviced was a 3 week wait, and then having to wait over 3 hours to have the maintenance service done is ridiculous. Just poor service….maybe they should stop offering people car maintenance packages at the time of vehicle sales if you can’t properly provide the service. What a waste of time and money. I would not recommend the place to anyone. Stay away!

I took my car in to Rick Hendrick because so dashboard alerts that I wanted diagnosed. Not only did they tell me I needed a $6,000 transmission, but an additional $2,000 worth of work as well. I took my car to AAA for a second opinion and to my surprise there was no transmission issue at all. They fixed my car for $850 and completed to state inspection as well. I want my $140 diagnostic fee back Rick Hendrick.

My experience here was great! My father and I were greeted on the lot by Carolyn, she’s very friendly and full of life. She was patient with me, being that It’s my first time purchasing a car. Josh was also a big help with taking the car out for a test drive. The team here is great. Everyone’s friendly here, it’s like a nice family. 10/10 would recommend!!

Do not recommend and did not have a good experience here. Needed service for our truck because of transmission problems and we had nothing but issues. We brought the car on Sunday night and we had an appointment Monday at 10 am. No one called us with an update. When we called on Tuesday asking for an update they said that they cannot look at our truck for at least another two weeks. No one updated us with any information. After voicing our concerns and speaking with the General Manger multiple times nothing got resolved. The customer service and communication was terrible. When saying our concerns the general manager asked to no longer speak with us. Was a very bad experience.

Rick Hendrick Chevrolet was very willing to win my business and it worked. I purchased a 2019 Camaro SS 1LE from their Norfolk location. When other Chevrolet dealerships didnt seem like they cared of I bought a car or not, Rick Hendrick Chevrolet actually spent the time to work with me. My only issue was the logistics of transporting the car to my home.

I had a Very Pleasant Experience today at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. I had a 9:00am appointment for an Oil change and to rotate and balance tires. I was waiting on my car, so I asked my Service Rep Janae how long did she think it would take, she told me around 1.5 hrs after looking at their schedule. I received a call on my cellphone around 9:40am from Ranae and she told me to come to her desk she was getting paperwork ready for me, I was Surprised! They did the work in Record time, I was Very Impressed and Pleased! I pulled into the garage and during the check in process was given a bottle of water to drink. The waiting lounge was comfortable and had a TV to pass the time. They came to get me when they were finished and when I got yo my truck they had covered the seat and the floor mat to keep thing clean.

Is this how reviews are supposed to work. Funny how my negative review does not appear any longer. One bad experience doesn’t make you a poor service provider. My vehicle had to come back to you because some workmanship had to be fixed. Your body shop manager treated us as though we were trying to run a scam and my introduction to him became argumentative and rude. Our issues were resolved but should not have been a problem in the first place. My invitation to contact your company was accepted. My message to your shop manager was never replied to.

When I spoke to Dawn she told me that the make and model and the Color of the vehicle I wanted was available. Told her I was wanting to trade in a vehicle. She took the Vin # of my trade-in and told me that she would go ahead and get the paperwork and everything started for me. Made an appt to come-in and look at the car and finish the paperwork. I came in for the appointment and was told that the car I had come in to look at had been already been sold (a mere few hours after speaking to Dawn!!) It would have been nice and courteous if someone would have called me and told me that car was no longer available... I did end up settling for another color. But, still disappointed.

This is the original Colonial Cadillac, now Ruck Hendricks. My car is in the service department which I took there overnight for the work to be performed this morning 🌅. My appointment was 9:30am. The mechanic called me before 9am. So far, I am very pleased with the way we have started to have an ongoing relationship. The mechanic was respectful and attentive to my concerns about my vehicle. I am now waiting for a call back to retrieve my vehicle. I am sure everything will be fine.

When I arrived for my 915 appointment there was a line of 4 cars in each lane. I thought, here we go again. I was wrong, the line moved quickly and Scott my service person moved quickly to get me taken care of. He was professional and knowledgeable about what I needed and got my car to where it needed to be. I drive a 2019 GMC Denali Yukon that has free service features at Southern GMC, but their service department is so poorly ran that I came to Hendrick because I had bought other vehicles here and they have always been the best. I cant recommend Hendrick and Scott highly enough. My car was done quickly and I couldnt be happier.

Purchased a new vehicle in March of 2021 and a major issue with the engine popped up. I turned the vehicle in as a standby due to the long wait time for an appointment and was lucky enough to have Belen as my service advisor.From start to finish she was amazing - from ensuring that I got a courtesy vehicle for the three weeks that it took to get parts in for the fix to keeping me informed every step of the way.As stressful as this was Belen made it seem way less of a mess.

I would like to personally thank Amy in the Service Department for stepping up and taking care of me. Not having an assigned advisor can be challenging. I had a leaky convertible roof still, under warranty, and the previous advisor had just recently left the company. I had to return the vehicle for issues and Amy jumped in, no appointment, and physically took the car back to the body shop and took care of my issues...after the replacement had been completed. This took all of 30 minutes! Amy has restored my faith in the Service Department! Look forward to working with her again!

Went in for a state inspection. Joe was AMAZING! He was welcoming and very informative. He made sure I understood what they were going to do and explained to me in depth what was wrong and what they recommend I get fixed. He made sure I knew what I was paying for and gave me updates on my car.Only recommendation I would give is to make an appointment instead of doing a walk in. He did tell me it would be a while due to me being a walk-in but I was willing to wait. Other then that wonderful service and good customer lounge as well. Had free water bottle and tv to watch, made the time go by a little faster. Would recommend this place to do any services/ buy a car.

We purchased our truck from Rick Hendricks Chevrolet last August. At the time of purchase we were promised a replacement tail light lens and have yet to receive....I have tried several time to call and left messages but no response. I also called and made an appointment for our oil change and inspection, when we arrived at the scheduled time we were advised that they had several appointments left over from the previous day and we would have to wait. We both have jobs and could not spend the day waiting for the requested oil change and inspection so we left. I believe that when you make an appointment it should be honored. It was not our fault that the previous days work was not completed...what is the purpose of making an appointment. I would not recommend your dealership to others instead I will let them them know how we were mistreated.
