My home sustained water damage that required substantial work. The workers did a great job, and I would highly recommend BMS. Randy James was my project manager, and he was excellent! From the very beginning of the job to the completion, Randy was on top of every aspect. He was responsive to all my calls and explained everything so I would know what to expect. Randy made sure that once the work started, it ran smoothly. He even followed up once the work was completed to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I cannot think of a better person to oversee a project for me. He is truly the epitome of customer service!!Brenda MalloryAtlanta
Mr. Randy James was my point of contact during this remodel. He was very attentive definitely listen to our needs. He sent over a fantastic crew that were very hard working. They completed the project in the 4 days allotted just as planned. I would say they definitely deserve the five stars!!!!
Randy James and team did a excellent job on repairing my home from water damage. My wife and I are satisfied with the results of there work. Randy was always there for any questions we had or concerns on the repairs. AWESOME JOB!!!
I called BMS CAT to install a kitchen backsplash. From the outset, the communication was excellent. The workers came yesterday to prep the wall. Today the tile was installed, and it is beautiful. The work is impeccable, and the workers were professional and precise.I called my neighbor over to see the finished project, and now she wants to hire BMS CAT to install a backsplash for her.
BMS CAT Project Manager Randy James did everything he promised in a timely manner and he personally came to our house to check the completion of each project. Randy regularly checked in with us to give updates and see if we needed anything or if we had any questions. Randy encouraged us to discuss our concerns throughout the repair process. Each crew we met was respectful of our family and our home. Pedro and Kimberly were especially thorough and exceptionally careful in their repairs to make everything look perfect. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
The technicians are very courteous and respectful of your property in the most distressing time. They are all very knowledgeable and go the extra mile. Hugo took the time to explain what the issues are.. and how to address them. All of the supervisors are really the best that Ive seen in this industry. Thanks again!
BMS CAT did a mold remediation at my new home and did a thorough and high quality job. I appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail. Would recommended for your next project.
Jake was SO very helpful and I appreciated all that he did for us!! Would definitely use Jake/BMS CAT again if I ever needed to.
I had extensive water damage to my home that effect multiple rooms. BMS CAT immediately took the necessary steps to mediate the problem which solved the immediate problem. All the personnel were prompt and professional. I specifically commend Ben Nelms, Clinton, and David Watford for the manner in which they managed this process!!
I dealt with Randy at BMSCAT and was more than satisfied. Randy is not only very professional but extremely knowledgeable. He did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. The quality and professionalism shown was a pleasant surprise. It seems that nowadays it’s a rarity. Service couldn’t have been any better I highly recommend them.
From the morning when a tree fell on our home until completion of job, we were impressed with this company. They showed up when scheduled, were professional, kept us informed, and took pride in their work. We felt that we were in good hands with this company.
They came so fast and they were on time. The ladies were so conversational and very aware of what was needed and got the job done and the men moved my stuff so fast and easily. I was so stressed because my apt complex was not communicating about anything but bms took a lot of that stress off by coming and finishing fast !
Randy James provided excellent customer service. He is a man of his word, the best construction project manager that I have had to pleasure to work with.
Had a leak in my guest bathroom that had been there for 2 years unnoticed, they did a great job replacing the subfloors, treating for mold, and replacing the flooring in the room next door that had also been damaged by the water. They were the best quote out of all of the quotes I got (and I got A LOT of quotes) and the work was quality and done quickly. I would DEFINITELY recommend these guys.
We were very pleased with how quick and efficient BMS CAT was to address our immediate needs and provide their services. We would absolutely use them again.
Randy was very professional and responsive and we were pleased with the roofing job.
Dont use this company. Two attempts at putting a tarp up. Didnt do job right resulting in additional water damage. And it let animals into attic causing more damage. And they bust up my deck for no reason. Terrible company. Dont let them near your home.
We had a leak in our guest bathroom which motivated us to do some much needed home improvements. We got a couple of estimates and we chose BMS CAT. Best choice we could have made! Everyone who came into our home was polite, hard working and professional. The painters, carpenters, tile guy all did excellent work. The few concerns we had were addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. I had never done anything like this before and our project manager was so patient and so helpful while I chose tile and paint colors. I will definitely use BMS CAT again.
Simon from BMS CAT showed up at my house after my dryer caught fire, my husband was in the military so we have USAA and they got everything done in three weeks, painless, easy and effective Im glad we chose him instead of waiting for someone to come out 2 days later.
Took almost 8 months to finish the job, with terrible communication and response times. Had to call HQ to finally get them to take their work seriously and even in the end things were done subpar. STAY AWAY!
Really can’t express how much Blackmon Mooring/ BMS CAT means to my family. In 2017 my family experienced three different major disasters in our home (our community sewer line backed up twice and we had a fire) and BMS CAT was there to guide us and help us gather our lives together.Joe Bishop who was our mitigation project manager took phone calls from me at all hours of the day, and was always reachable. His team responded quickly in every instance (even recently when my mom needed them to come assist with an overflowing toilet) and always did a fantastic job. Joe and his crew were extremely professional and were overly cautious to make sure our home was mitigated properly.BMS CAT also did our rebuild (as they are 100% turn key) where we were introduced to Kevin Brown (our reconstruction project manager) and Scot Waldrop (who helped us do our estimating). Both of these men were always responsive and helped me rebuild my home step by step. I am not the easiest customer, and these men were always patient with me and made sure I approved of every step of the rebuild. These three guys have become more than Home improvement contractors to my husband and I,But are more like friends/family. I’m sure we drive them nuts (and have for the last year), but we appreciate them so much and deserve the best! Through our year of hell, our one constant positive factor was BMS CAT and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much guys for all you have done!-Carly and Matt Nowacki
We booked Blackmon Mooring due to a recommendation by our insurance company. We had a good experience during the repair process. After the repairs were finished and they had collected their funding from my insurance company. They issued two additional invoices and rather than getting the funds from our insurance company they sent it to collections causing much more work. They articulated a position of connection to my insurance company to make it appear simple to submit estimates and collect payments. This was not the reality and now have to spend more time trying to resolve this additional issue as it has been almost 9 months. Im very disappointed in the level of communication with me and my insurance company. They did not go the extra mile to make things easy. Some responsibility is on my insurance company but to get a call from a debt collector because they couldnt communicate with my insurance company is unfair. I dont appreciate all the work that has gone into settling the billing months after repairs are complete.
Don’t hire this Company to do you house work!!!!Let me tell you why:Back in January of 2018 I had a pipe burst due to the cold weather we had in Atlanta, Blackmon Mooring was one of the recommended restoration companies through my Insurance Company. It’s the begining of June and finally after 6 months they completed the job!The whole experience has been a complete nightmare from begining to end. From the project managers, yes I had two because the first one did not seem necessary to answer my calls to to the army of different workers that march through my home nobody followed a logic as to what to do and how to do it! As an example the plumbers that came to reset my toilet had to come 5 times because every time they left the job was absolutely mediocre and unacceptable, same for the dry wall and painters! At one point a worker that came to grout the bathroom tile floor was the cousin of one of the painters without any knowledge of who Blackmon Mooring company was! Think about the safety ramifications of sending someone from who has not been vetted by the company doing your remodelation.I lost track how many times they say they would come and never showed up!And of course this was accompanied by telephone silence from the proyect managers! It’s a shame that not only you have to suffer through the perils of having your home flooded but also suffer again through the unprofessionalism of the company you trusted to rebuild your home.
When my house caught fire, a man in an unmarked SUV was first on the scene. He was from Blackmon mooring. Strange. It got stranger when the FD decided to leave the scene after they thought the fire was out, and when the alarms started going off again, the Blackmon Mooring associate on the scene let it sound for fully 30 minutes more as he didnt think anything of it.Posted this on YELP and a response was provided by the company, in which they claim that the fire dept was called immediately after signs of a second fire were noticed. However, that directly contradicts what is clearly written in the OFFICIAL FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT. The Blackmon mooring official with whom the property was left LITERALLY IGNORED THE FIRE ALARM FOR 30 MINUTES, AND WAITED FOR SMOKE AND FLAMES. Clearly theres no legal obligation to call the fire dept, but there is a MORAL obligation that was ignored in the name of profiteering from anothers loss. Your claim that the fire department was called immediately at the first sign of a fire (eg: the fire alarm) was ignored for about 30 minutes. You can read the official fire department report yourself...I did. Your statement directly contradicts the official report. Nice try.I guess its my opinion that a professional for a damage restoration company, who is on the scene of a house fire that was just put out, really ought to know the significance of a sounding fire alarm that starts going off soon after the fire department leaves. In any case, the subsequent fire destroyed the remaining 85% of my property not damaged by the initial fire, and so a huge hat tip to Blackmon Mooring for now knowing how a fire alarm device works. I am so happy to be relieved of all of my possessions. Life is a lot simpler now due to Blackmon Mooring.
The first one at your door after a fire... Gets you to sign a contract for them and will not answer there phone after.... HORRIBLE people...
Excellent treatment, very attentive
