We were in a panic with an suv that wouldn’t start. They gave us the name of a towing company who got the vehicle there quickly and our vehicle was repaired the same day, they kept in contact with us and we could not be more grateful!! They were so nice, professional and most of all; affordable!

Everytime I’ve had work done on every Vehicle I’ve brought there when I leave my check engine lights comes on.. maybe it’s a weird Coincidence or maybe not and everytime I’ve brought it back about the engine light coming on it’s something new that needs fixed immediately smh.

I have taken all my vehicles here since I found them 7 years ago. Figured if they could keep old, beaten Time Warner fleet vehicles running they could keep mine running. Ive never had any problems with their work, and the staff is great. Not the cheapest mechanics in the falls but youll get exactly what you paid for: professionalism, knowledge, expertise, and top quality craftsmanship

Ive been taking my vehicle here for years (as has my brother, father AND mother) and I can honestly say I have never had a bad interaction with anyone here. They are HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. I know that when I bring my vehicle here, I wont be upsold, or have unnecessary work done. Several times Ive been told of impending work which will need to be done on my vehicle (i.e. maintenance items or parts which are coming close to the end of their lifespan) and I was given the option to do the work then, or to complete it at a later time - there was absolutely NO pressure to have the work done then and there. No one likes paying for maintenance and repairs on their vehicle - lets be realistic. At least with MacKenzies, you know that youre going to have the work completed by competent staff who work for a business that isnt trying to take you to the cleaners.

Most reliable automotive repair shop ive experienced !

Do NOT go to this business! I was referred to call this business as a result of an insurance claim to have secondary mechanical work done. I called the owner on a Thursday and he said to call him Monday to set up a time to bring the car in. He said “ he would have to shuffle some things around”. I called back on Monday and the receptionist said “Chris the owner of the shop was on a test drive” He never bothered to call me back. I contacted the insurance company and as it turns out I was allowed to bring the car to a more professional and reputable shop. I will be curious to see what the issue with the car is. The original mechanical work was done by said shop and never ran right since. If it is a result of the previous work of this shop I will be sure to let the insurance company know as well as the BBB. I have heard numerous bad things about this shop in the past from friends and had I known I had the choice I never would have had my car serviced here in the first place.

These guys are honest and do a good job. I recommend them completely.

Called this place early Saturday got a humble man on the phone was great he said bring your motorcycle right by on Monday after work we will inspect it I called before I left my house to bring it there and was told that there motorcycle inspector will not be there! People have jobs and make time to do this plus motorcycles are weather permitting. Horrible experience for motorcycles Id suggest going elsewhere.

Brief version: One star given. This might be a good shop but unfortunately I wasnt able to experience that good service that others have gotten. They get too busy to listen to their customers and give their customers the proper auto service that they need. Theres no need to schedule appointments because it wont ensure that youre seen before anyone else. If you want someone to make you feel rushed and take forever on your vehicle, this is a good place to go.Long review/explanation:I called to set up an appointment. Was asked to describe the issue. After describing, I was told to tell them everything I explained when I brought the car in the next day. (So why did I waste my time explaining in detail?)I came in the next morning and explained that I had an appointment. The guy did not expect me at all. I had to tell him my name, phone number, and car details and issues all over again. I now see that I could have walked in with no issue. (No need to call ahead review readers)While I was giving my car information, I could see the guy taking my information was going to start rushing me on the details when another customer walked in. I hadnt uttered 2 sentences on what was wrong with my car when the phone rang and he told me to hold on. I managed to say that I had acceleration issues and rough idling. I couldnt explain much else. After he got off the phone he asked for my keys and was in a hurry to the next guy, so I was rushed off. There was one other guy waiting in there and when I was leaving 3 more people came. I dropped my car off at 9:45am and knew they would take a while. I didnt care as long as my issues could be fixed.I received a call an hour later. A mechanic asked me about the sounds my car was making. I had to explain that my car wasnt making any sounds and again explained I had issues with my car slowing down while I was accelerating and when I was actually slowing down I had that rough idle and it even felt like my car was going to stall out on when I got under a certain speed. He said hed take it on a test drive and see if he got the issue.2 hours later he finally called back (12:47pm). I was told that my car ran perfectly and that nothing was wrong with it. The guy brushed aside the issues that I mentioned, and explained that it was normal for cars to kick up and take a while to pick up speed. That wasnt my issue, so I asked if they could still perform some maintenance checks and I was told that they already did. Everything looked good. I was only charged $20. So I wasnt disappointed.My car ran smoothly for two days so I thought maybe the supposed maintenance did the job. Then my car stalled two times after I started it in a parking lot (all my dash lights were flashing so I didnt know what it was). I thought maybe it was a battery issue and that driving would sort it out. I was able to make it on a 20 minute drive home with no major issues but my acceleration issues were back. It would happen once or twice on my commutes that were 20 mins or more. It would jolt when I was going full speed and make me jump, but ran smooth otherwise so I drove for a few days.Precisely a week after I brought it in to Mackenzies, my check engine light came on and my car almost stalled on me two more times on a very busy NF Boulevard and Sheridan Dr. I took it to Auto-zone for a check engine light reading the next day (even though my engine light had gone away after 15hrs) and I got an error code P0335, which perfectly explained my acceleration issues. My check engine light flashed once, so quickly I barely saw it, before I took it to Mackenzies.The reason Im giving a bad review is because had they plugged in any scanning tools in my car or tried to diagnose the issues I explained, they would have likely seen precisely what was wrong. I completely understood that they were busy and didnt have time to give my car full attention to the problems I was experiencing, but it was wrong to tell me that nothing was wrong without really checking.

Incredible service. Took care of our van while we were out on tour and was very understanding of our situation. He fit us in for the day and got us back out on the road.
