Went to Johns Barber Shop today for my first time in a barbers chair since I was a little boy. I usually just shave my head myself, so I didnt really even know what to tell them to do with my messy mop. Kim turned my scary hairdo and my rugged beard into something that actually makes me look like a presentable human being. She was absolutely wonderful, and I will definitely go back.

Ive been going to Johns for about 25 years. Karen had always been a delight to work with and has a great staff that works with her. Ive always been happy with the haircut Ive gotten. My kids are now on a first name basis with the staff, and enjoy the interaction as much as I have. On another note, Johns has only raised their cost twice in The time Ive been going there. Once from $8 to $10 and then from $10 to $11. Its awesome to see a small business succeed and change with the times. Ill continue going here as long as I live in the area and hope for another 25 awesome years.

And you will be shocked at how reasonable the price is, so be sure to tip well, because you will be back! Just make sure that you stop at the stop sign!

I started coming here a year ago and never looked back. Usually not very busy but it has its times. Cuts are reasonable, but be aware they only accept cash and about half the time the ATM they have is out of service, so bring money.

This barbershop is the worst barbershop Ive ever been to. They never cut my hair the way I want them to even when I show them a picture they wont do it. The only time they give a good hair cut is if its the most basic you can do. Im never going back there after giving them multiple chances to get it right. The only positive thing about this place is that its cheap and thats exactly what you get a cheap hair cut. Id recommend going anywhere else besides here.

The real rating is NEGATIVE 5. Google doesnt have this rating though. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went there to have my beard shaped up. Been growing this beard for 4 months. Finally got out of the awkward stage . Wanted them to fade my beard into a big goatee. First thing the lady does is cut an enormous hunk out of my goatee. Cut half off right off the bat, when I specified to barely even touch that area. At that point she couldnt fade my beard into the goatee cause then shed have to remove 90% of the beard. Wasted months to have this lady Kim destroy it in seconds. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE. Complete waste of time . If you dont know how to handle a big beard, then open your mouth and say that. Dont just try to figure it out as you go. Not easy dealing with growing a beard out. Its incredibly hard not to just shave it off when its trying to grow in. Its itchy and looks awful until its at a certain point. Thank you for making me start all over again. And btw I have my 10 year wedding anniversary next weekend. So now Ill probably have to shave it all off completely. Worst experience Ive ever had at a barber shop. Not sure if thats even what Id call this place since I didnt see anyone using a straight blade to give anyone a shape up. Maybe they should try pet grooming instead.

The only place I go for a haircut. Reasonably priced, and only one time in the past several years did I feel the cut wasnt excellent. That 4 stars should be a 4-1/2*. Fast service with chairs always filled when Im there, but never a long wait.
