Ive been going to Elijah for years, and Im thrilled he reopened safely with appropriate social distancing protocols in place for COVID-19.Reservations and masks are required (youll want one that goes over your ears since youre getting a haircut), and you get a squirt of hand sanitizer when you walk in the door.The masks dont impede the usual friendly conversation, and the haircut is just as great as it always has been.

26 dollar for 10 minutes hair cut and talked to other people a lot during the service!!!!! and he is pretty rude to ask my nationality. 26 dollar deserves a decent service in some way

Like many other small businesses, hes been hit hard by COVID-19, and is now struggling to re-open with social distancing preserved, by appointment only, one customer at a time. Elijah knows me, knows my kids and is a friend that I have only five or six times a year when I am in his establishment. He cares deeply about his customers and his service. Prices are very reasonable and he always takes as much time as necessary to make sure I am happy with my haircut. He asks a lot of questions and remembers who I am and always greets me enthusiastically. It is what a family barbershop was like fifty years ago when I was a boy. This man does not disappoint. I have thick, course, stubborn hair that does what it wants and he managed to cut it flawlessly. He is quick to make re-adjustments and is fine-tuned in his craft for getting precise angles in hair lines.

Last year, Elijah gave me the worst haircut Ive ever received which resulted in me shaving my head bald and suffering great emotional distress. I asked for a thin hard-line shaved where I part my hair, which is a very easy process, and Elijahs terrible technique left a highly visible one inch wide bald spot on the top of my head. When questioned, I was treated dismissively and told I had asked for this. After leaving, I attempted to fix this disgusting excuse for a haircut at another establishment but ultimately found no possibility of salvation. Avoid at all costs.

I received my haircut today for the first time. I should have paid more attention to the comments I read. Yes, Elijah is nice but he really doesnt know how to do a proper haircut. I even showed him several pictures of how I wanted my hair done. For a regular haircut and shaving my mustache I was charged $31.00. As a grad student I left frustrated and angry. Please stay away!

Definitely one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever gotten. Guy didn’t listen to what I wanted and decided for himself what my hair should look like. I wanted a hard part and he didn’t follow the line that was already there so I now have a triangle shaved into my head. Will not be going back.

I waited an hour for my barber to cut the hair of the three guys before me, all of whom received buzz cuts. When it was finally my turn, the cut was mediocre and the barber was difficult to communicate with. They also recently jacked their prices up.
