I’ve had a couples massage booked there for weeks for my boyfriends birthday.They called the day of to cancel because our masseuse called out sick. Didn’t offer to reschedule, no offer for an additional 30 mins on our next massage. Nothing. Super disappointing. We won’t be back.

I’ve been to DeStress Express in the past. I’ve gotten gift cards because my family and friends knew I enjoyed going here.On May 27th, 2021 by husband submitted a request for a couples massage on their website for our anniversary. On May 28th, 2021 they called him to book our appointment. Our actual anniversary date wasn’t available, so we picked the day after, June 8th.I’m sitting in the parking lot after being turned away because our appointment wasn’t actually put on their calendar. We didn’t know the name of the person who initially took down our appointment details, so there wasn’t anything they could do. We each took four hours off work because a 2pm appointment was what they had available and we live across the water and needed to allot for travel time.They said they could reschedule for two weeks later and would give us $20 off. My husband is active military and leave time is precious, in addition to me also losing 4 hours of pay. A $20 discount isn’t worth it. It’s a bummer because the massages are good, but the front desk folks can’t keep it together. We’ll be taking our business and loyalty elsewhere.

My masseuse Carissa is awesome. I love the fact that they have extensive knowledge of different ailments and have some holistic treatments along with other treatments. This place is great, friendly and clean.

Good spa for this area - I’d give them a solid B on services. I’d give the owner an F on being a decent human being however.I paid hundreds of dollars earlier this year to join their massage program and now won’t be able to use due to COVID (we are caring for people with compromised immune systems and aren’t going to jeopardize their health by going to the spa anytime soon). The owners of this business refuse to consider even giving a partial refund (which I’d be OK with as they would get $ for their trouble and I could recoup at least some of the $s I will now never use) so I’m now out $100s of dollars and will NEVER consider going to or recommending this spa to anyone in the future. While many companies have gone above and beyond during this trying time - some have taken the other road - this is one of those companies. Buyer beware.

I love this place. Nathan is awesome. He helped to get rid of the pain in my neck and shoulder. Also he is so gentle and an all around professional who knows what he is doing. I am going back in two weeks to see him. NATHAN YOU ROCK DUDE!!!

Will definitely be back.One issue, I referred a friend to go through their app, which offers both either a discount or points. But when she got there, she was told there was no referral discounts. This should not be advertised on the app if not true. Was disappointed there.

Made an appointment weeks in advance, mind you I came from out of town. I get there and they tell me that they never completed the appointment for me. When I ask them if there is any way they can schedule me one for the day, I was told they couldnt accommodate. Cant say enough good things about Destress Express & Spa. From the time I walk in until the time I leave Im always treated like Im the only person in the building other than the staff. I am scheduled for a massage next week but two weeks ago I started having trouble with my right shoulder and was trying to manage the pain myself. Didnt work. Went to my orthopedic surgeon and after some X-Rays got a shot of cortisone. The first night was better but the second night back to hurting worse than ever. I called Destress and told them about my issue and immediate need for relief and they suggested JODI. I was hoping for 90 but could only get 60 so I took it. On 2/5 Jodi worked on my shoulder and surrounding areas for the entire time asking me questions so she could focus on the root problem and Im glad to say I got a full nights sleep last night for the first time in two weeks. Its amazing to be able to wake up fully rested and pain free after two weeks of 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours of sleep each night along with pain that could go from a 3 (dull toothache type) to a 10 at the blink of an eye and take me to my knees. Thank you so much Jodi. You have a special talent to go along with your sweet personality and I greatly appreciate you and the excellent results achieved!!!

This place is AMAZING. The atmosphere is great, the decor is beautiful, and I just had the best massage of my life. Carissa really listened to what I needed the focus on and I swear she read my mind during the massage- she got every pinpoint spot that causes me problems, and I walked out feeling like I was floating. This is the best I have felt in years! Would highly recommend to anybody and I will DEFINITELY be back. 💕

I moved to Georgia last year in May and I made sure I saw Michelle before I left and I am glad I did. Almost two years later, I still can’t find a massage place like destress express. Like the adage goes, you don’t know how good you’ve got it until it’s gone.

Rachel is one of the best massage therapists Ive experienced. I have limited mobility due to years of running and triathlon. After one massage, Ive noticed slight improvement and I know its due to Rachels work. I will be back to see her as soon as I can get in.

With so many big name massage parlors, DeStress went unnoticed at first but not any further. The ambiance when you first walk in was soothing. Fragrance and soft music allowed you to begin to relax when you walk into the door. Service was available right at the appointment time. Did I mentioned I scheduled the same day! Massage was relaxing and hit the right places. Will definitely be going back again

Nathan gave a wonderful deep tissue massage

I went in unable to stand straight and was in near constant pain from overdoing yard work. I left able to straighten up and with very little pain. Alisha found sore and strained muscles that I didnt realize were even bothering me. I am a now a regular. The staff is following good protocols to keep all safe. Cant say enough good about my experience.

My daughter and I went in for a massage. It was our first ever massage. It was amazing!! Tina and Nina made us feel very comfortable. They explained everything so we knew what to expect. They found all of our trouble spots and we left feeling reborn !We will definitely be going back.

31 weeks pregnant and extremely uncomfortable, I went looking for a massage therapist on the peninsula that was certified in prenatal massage. I found Michelle McGuckin at Destress Express online, and decided to give it a try. I was impressed at how easy it was to schedule an appointment not too far in the future. I also appreciated the text message reminder about my appointment.The check in experience was great. The front office staff was so friendly and there wasnt an overwhelmingly enormous amount of paperwork. When I met Michelle, she asked all the right questions about my pregnancy and symptoms to make sure the massage was safe for my baby and enjoyable for me. At the end, she gave me more information about continuing massage during pregnancy and postpartum.It was all around an amazing experience. The massage was amazing, everyone was nice, and I left feeling so much better than when I arrived.

The staff is very friendly and professional. The massage therapists are professional, take direction well, and remember who you are when you come back. The rooms are mood appropriate, dark, and very relaxing. I’m extremely impressed by the business model. They have a really great app. You can book appointments and receive alerts to openings that come up. If you haven’t been, you should book an appointment and go.

Went for a couples massage and was skeptical on whether or would be worth the money (their prices are pretty standard, but I had never gotten a massage before). IT ABSOLUTELY WAS! The massage was awesome, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Im trying to figure out a way to make this a more normal occurrence. Just try it, youll love it!

I visited Destress Express three weeks ago, this was my first time ever visiting a place like that. I just want to say my experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was very inviting, it was quite which a mother of three boys is very much needed lol. The lady that did my nails did a wonderful job and we chatted but then again we were silent, she was not to chatty I dont mean that in a rude way just sometimes its nice to have quite. I have every intention on coming back. Thank you!!!!

My wife and I came in an had a couples massage last week! It was GREAT! She was happy and said We will be back. I think that pretty much says it all, but for those looking for a more formal review...here is my take;The staff was completely friendly and professional without being overbearing or too cheery. The facility was nice, clean and there was a calming atmosphere that instantly place us into a relaxed state and started the appointment off just right.Our massage therapists were also extremely professional and welcoming.The entire appointment was GREAT!We experienced the 90 minute couples massage with hot foot treatment and we HIGHLY recommend it and will be back for another VERY soon!

The minute you walk in the door you feel more relaxed! Very calming atmosphere. I have had 3 different massages from 3 different therapists here, and they were all great. Most recently Rachel addressed some severe pain I was having in my neck. After one session, it was looser! Thanks Rachel! They also don’t charge for hot towels in your service, unlike many other spas that offer massage therapy. I have no complaints, the place is always clean, nice relaxing atmosphere with professional and competent therapists that listen to you.

Really great place! The rooms are perfectly set up for comfort and relaxation, the staff is very friendly and the therapists are experienced and professional. Also, they’ve done well to adopt technology. Download their app and receive alerts when one of your favorite therapists has an opening. You can also book through the app. A final note, their prices are very competitive. You’d be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere else. Kudos to the management.

It was only my 3rd or 4th visit to any massage/spa business. Really enjoyed the massage which helped relax my painful neck muscles. The decor, music, scents, and lighting in the room was very relaxing. The staff was very professional. My masseuse, Jen, was excellent. Our daughter, who works in the wellness field, highly recommended Jen and yielded our high regard for that referral. Destress Express presents a wonderfully relaxing and highly professional environment.

I have been seeing jen for many years. She helped me make it to retirement at ups and without her i may not have. My massages now are for the maintenance of old injuries and surgeries and of course pleasure. Yesterday i was in a bad way and after Jen i felt fabulous, shes so good for my complete sole, love her, thanks.

The ladies that give you a message are delightful. The place is beautiful and clean. They even have a hair station for after the message. The massage was wonderful. She found tight spots I didnt know I had and loosened them.

This team truly cares about your needs. I trust them in dealing with my chronic pain. I trust their team leader and feel like they have a happy team of therapists willing to help. I would not say this unless I meant it. I have been a client for about 6 months or more.

I have been a customer here for several years and it is the best by far. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an ultra high dollar spa but the prices are really good. It is clean and they always make you feel comfortable and important. For some reason I keep trying new places and I still come back because they are that good.

Ive been going to Destress since 2011 when I had my first massage before entering massage therapy school myself. I love the atmosphere and the different themes each room offers. The prices are some of the best you will find without effecting the quality of the massage. Each therapist has their own unique style, I encourage you to try another therapist here if you arent completely satisfied initially.

I came in for my semi - annual tune up to address some neck & foot pain, as well as relaxation. Had a 2 hour massage and it was wonderful. The front desk staff matched me with a therapist that did more therapeutic work to help address my needs. The atmosphere is relaxing. They even have combs, spray, towels etc in the bathroom if youre a lady who needs to fix herself up afterwards hair / make up wise. I was yet to find a massage spa I was 100% satisfied with until coming here. This will be my regular place for tune ups and relaxation. Thanks!

Just left a corporate chain massage place due to prices continually going up (without any notice) and found this locally owned-operated company near my home. What a great find! I could see a lot of personal care went into the design of the rooms. Very peaceful. The front desk staff was friendly, and not pushy at all. My therapist, Sydney, did a great job working through some of my limited motion issues (arthritis in shoulder). I already have another appointment!

I love Destress Express! They provide excellent service - I strongly recommend Jodie Johnson for massage. The spa atmosphere is great; its in a quiet location with quiet neighbors so there is no road noise or pedestrian traffic that youll hear in any of the treatment rooms. What a wonderful experience!! I went during my fourth pregnancy at the end of 2017. I saw Michelle - she is a certified prenatal massage therapist. She had all the pillows to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Michelle was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She answered all my questions, helped me to relax and I can’t wait to go back! I have referred her to all of my friends who are expecting. Additionally, the reception staff are always so friendly and helpful. Overall, I give this place 5+ stars- it’s the only place I will come for future massages, waxes, pedicures, facials... they do it all!!

I have been going to DeStress for about 3 months now. I am an avid gym rat and had let a multitude of small injuries build into larger issues. (Rachel) has been working on me on a regular basis and not only are my workouts better, I am having less pain in my regular activities. If you are looking for a relaxing spa day, I cant comment. I will have to say, that if you need someone well versed in her craft and able to get you back to your best you going to DeStress and seeing (Rachel) will not leave you disappointed.

Wow..the exact same thing happened to my fiancee Shannon. She went in for a massage and came home looking like she had been pressed with an iron. She used to love this place too. I am not sure if they have had a change in personnel recently, but its definitely a spa to avoid for the time being!Also the manager was not very receptive or polite when she called either. Unbelievable.

They have master therapists in addition to so many that excel in their knowledge of a wide variety of techniques. They really are in tune with the art of touch. I have a number of medical issues and have to see a number of therapists for different types of massage, I love that I can have all of my needs met under one roof. I do not know where I would be without their staff.
