Called at about 8 in the morning and spoke with Matt and said he could get my truck in for exhaust repairs. Had my truck there by 8:30 and it was done by 11. Get work and a fantastic price. Real pros to deal with here.

Amazing, Quick, Fair, and Honest Service!!!! I know the fear we all have when we take our cars to the shop... They are gonna make me spend on BS!; however, Big Als Muffler and Brakes, I can say, has been the complete opposite of what Ive heard and expected. I had my vehicle State expected, and the only thing out of compliance were my muffler hangers. I then took the vehicle here for a small job, thinking they were going to charge me in excess of a hundred dollar; however when I came back to get the vehicle, to my surprise, they told me the work was completely free due to the fact that it only took them minutes to solve the issue... I have never heard this before!!! Every place Ive gone has charged me, just for looking at the car, but here, they gave me the service, free of charge, due to the little amount of work done to get it fixed! I cant recommend this place enough, I can say its one of the few places who does it fair!!!

Excellent Service. I decided to give this location a call and knew it would be a long shot since they were going to close in another 20 minutes. Matt answered and was willing to meet with me very briefly in regards to my ARK GRIP exhaust even though he was about to close shop for the day. Matt going out of his way like this for me is the type of customer service that will make you loyal to a company. The next day I dropped my 370z off and spoke with Kevin early in the morning as soon as they opened. Kevin is an perfect representation of world class customer service and was an awesome guy to talk to. He went out of his way to send me pictures of my exhaust before and after the install and even looked out for me with my passenger side fender well hanging off slightly. They were even nice enough to hold onto my old magnaflow exhaust in order for me to find someone to buy it! Kevin and Matt have earned my respect and will continue to get my business.

They take you first come first serve, I dropped my vehicle off to fix my Kia flex pipe, he said come back in an hour, dropped the keys off and as soon as I was walking to my pickup ride the tech was taking my car in to be worked on. Came back an hour later car done and in the pickup area., thats good service. I will come again and highly recommend this shop.

I came here to get my cat back exhaust put on. They gave me a price of $200 which I thought was good. Exhaust was put on and everything seemed fine. After maybe a couple weeks I noticed a loud rattle in the back. I checked under the car one day and noticed one of my bolts were overtightened causing the head of it to break off.When I brought this to their attention, he said if I buy a bolt then theyll replace it. I just felt like if the wrong doing was on their part, then the bolt should have been provided for me and repaired.Eventually I ordered an MFER1 to keep exhaust valves opened at all times because I liked the sound more. I brought him the parts and asked if he could install that instead of the one bolt which he agreed to but the following week because they were busy.I returned later that week and was first in the door but last to leave out of about 4-5 other people.I asked to have the rattle / metallic vibrating sound checked out as well. Once the car was finished I left and went home. Driving back to work I noticed the rattle sound again every time my car goes into 4 cylinder instead of 8 (eco mode) and at 1200 rpms. With two returns, two times it being worked on, same issue happening I decided to call it a quits.I was let down with the rattle / vibrating issue not being fixed and decided at this point Ill start to try another muffler shop for future work / issues.I gave 3 starts because he still did agree to fix my exhaust valve issue with a new device instead of replacing the one bolt, because he didnt charge me, and the price was reasonable for the install of a cat back system.

I took my car for tie rods, boots and sway bar, because I was told thats what it needs they check it for me and I ended up not needing tie rods so they saved me money. I would say before you pay money for service go to Big Als and see if they can save you money.

$75 to get my ZZP Downpipe installed on my 2005 Chevy Impala SS. Called them to set up an appointment. That day they installed it. Great quick work

On Saturday morning I went to Big Als to get some new brakes on the front of my car. I thought I needed brakes because every time I stopped I heard a noise in my brakes. I was the first one in line and waited until they open. My car was brought in and inspected first. Later the man camed out to tell mr my brakes were fine. He said I had a little more time on them. I was so surprise as well as amazed because he was so honest with me. He could have told me a lie and took my money but he didnt. When my brakes do need service, believe me I will go back to honest Als.

Went in this morning for an oil change, was told they were too busy to work me in, although I only saw 1 car there. Passed by after oil change at another shop and didntsee any cars, guess they have a limit or something. They only do basic repairs here, had oil change and a exhaust leak worked at, had to take to another shop for brake work, if I had known ahead of time, could have taken someplace else and have everything done. Seems strange that a shop that advertises muffler and brake work could not do the brakes...

Honest mechanics! I won’t go anywhere else again! I went to Big Als after going to a local Treadquarters where they did a state inspection and incorrectly installed a control arm, then said I also needed to buy struts to fix the creaking problem they caused. My car was working perfect before they touched it. Big AL’s gave a second opinion and checked my car and found the control arm just needed tightening from the bad Treadquarters install. No struts needed. I love Big Al’s!!!!

Ive taken a few of my vehicles here and the work is done right and Matt is upfront and honest. Wish there was a night drop box instead of having to slide your key/envelope into the small hole in the bottom of the garage door. With that being said, Ill keep using the drop hole as long as the work keeps turning out great.

Many interactions with these folks, maybe over 10 years. Every single time I have left happy with the workmanship, rates and especially the honesty about what repairs I NEED done. Highly recommended.

Ill give them benefit of a doubt they may do good work. But I wouldnt pay what they told me to cut a muffler out and weld or clamp a pipe in when I could do it for half or less. Think my husky had more of a personality then the gentleman behind the counter.

Recently, as my daughter was driving her 1996 Honda Accord she noticed a loud “guttural” sound emitting from the bottom of her car. I took a look and discovered a rust hole in the pipe that connects to the muffler. At the recommendation of a local mechanic I took the car to Big Al’s, located at 14100 Warwick Boulevard. This particular person works for another business, but made no hesitation recommending I see Matt, the owner of Big Al’s.Matt, the owner of the business, greeted me in a friendly and professional fashion. Matt gave me a quote to repair the pipe, shortly after Kevin and Richard, the two technicians, assessed the damage. Matt recommended I change out the pipe and I wholeheartedly agreed. He even allowed me access to the garage to look at the damaged pipe prior to the start of any repairs. Matt was never pushy, nor did I feel pressured into having the repairs done immediately. I was so impressed with him that I decided to have the oil changed too while I was at the shop. Kevin test drove the car twice before he was satisfied that the muffler sounded spot-on. He made the necessary adjustments and ensured me that I could return at any time, should there be any issues pertaining to the repair.I wanted to make sure I shared this information with all who may be considering going to the Big Al’s located at 14100 Warwick Boulevard. A car tuner beware....I am being generous with giving two stars. I actually am amazing by all those loose five stars, with short comments. When I arrive they had two car in the shop and two outside. So I asked a heavy set guy were they able to do a Cat Back system install on a Mini Cooper, The guy looked at my car from behind the counter and stated oh that is a tough car to do, it will take at least two hours or more...you would have to drop it off and leave it, we had a really hard time doing one last week. Oh Really? So how much would this cost? About $150.....Ok, team crazy....1. This guy must have been uninformed about Google and Youtube.2. How can you quote a price without asking about the year and model. (He just assumed a R50: R52: R53: R55: R56 R57: R58: R59: R60: R61: F54: F56: F55: F60 had the same exhuast system set up. They do not)3. Two hours this guy is a joke.... I have seen people do in their drive way in less than 30mins4. He tried to take advantage of a customer with a straight face.I cannot discredit their work because I refuse to do business there.He was not rude, just lazy and did not even try to earn any business.He must be super rich not to care to grow business.I just imagine how many people over paid for service because he had a tough time with a car last week.Guy do us a favor and learn your craft!

Another dealership dropped my vehicle off to get exhaust work. They replaced my cats with ones that are not OE equipment. I like to inspect work that I pay for so when I got home and found the welds had holes in them I was extremely upset. I went back in and the guy behind the counter berated me for making a bad review. After he did some pouting and literally telling them exactly where they screwed up they finally fixed it but it was like pulling teeth. Two stars because they actually did a decent job after the second try and the exhaust guy was a great guy.

Ive gone here multiple times.... Matt will tell you exactly what you need, and he will give you the best prices... I had my exhaust done new cat, and reinstalled the muffler and patched it for $120. I called multiple other big als and even went there for them to look at it and they tried quoting me at $300+ they wanted to install their own cat, and the charge to weld it on and the whole story.... Matt said if I bring one in hell weld everything in for 120... best price around. Dont go to any other big als.. I came all the way from Norfolk just to have him do it.

Not sure how this place has such a high rating. I went here because of the google reviews but wouldn’t go back or recommend on my experience. Guy behind counter, I believe matt, seemed disinterested and pissed I was in his shop for something basic. Maybe the other shops are good but I will not be back to this one.

I went to get an exhaust leak welded up and the partially fixed the issue. They did not finish the job be cause the said they couldn’t reach the section they needed to weld. All they had to do was unbolt the pipe but the refused. That’s very unprofessional considering they’re a MUFFLER shop!!
