This was the only business that has not allowed us to use our credit for cancelled classes during Covid . My daughter started swim there in 2020 and only got to use one class . I was assured at the time that she would have a credit on file with healthtrax . I have called many times and have spoken with Jason, the manager who told me that they would honor my credit but has made it almost impossible to do so . He tells me that I have to go through the swimInstructor and the swim instructor tells me that I have to go through healthtrax. The last time I called, they did not even return my phone call. I have heard of the same problem with people not being able to use their training sessions. Such poor customer service and will definitely not be patronizing going forward .

This gym is beautiful but unfortunately has drawbacks; the classes are not sufficient for the members interest. They need to add more classes. Silver Sneakers membership require $10 per month to use pool and take classes. You have to fight to get in a class which is already too crowded. Why can’t they add additional daytime classes!

Who wants to go swimming in the morning on week ends in the cold Hours at LA fitness are much better There is no sauna, whirlpool, just a pool and no hot water in the showers.

Facility closes early on weekends, 1:00 pm, which means the outdoor pool is closed on hotsummer wknds when it is most needed and used. Restrictions are over! Please return to pre covid schedule, which is short hours anyway! 4 more hrs each day wont bankrupt you. Thanks.

Good gym. Im 63 and I feel scrunched up on some of the equipment (like the leg press). The other item to note is for senior citizens who are not disabled - the locker room is down a flight of stairs. To be fair - there is an elevator to the main floor.

Great place to workout - friendly staff and a clean environment!

Healthtrax Newington has good classes. Best part of the gym is the kid zone. Thanks to the kid zone parents have no excuse to skip working out. Looking forward to the end of COVID to resume our daily fitness routine.

This Newington facility, is designed for all ages.They even have a room for your children to stay, under supervision, while you work out.There are specific areas for stretching, weight lifting, aerobics, handball, swimming, basketball and group workouts.All the trainers are certified, extremely helpful, and very friendly.Healthtrax also participates in the Silver Sneaker program.Healthtrax also provides individual training which is outstanding. Large facility that offers almost every type of workout and sporting activity. Staff is very friendly. Some of the equipment is a bit older, but is clean and well-maintained. Locker rooms are also well maintained. I definitely recommend it.

In my time going here, Ive been impressed by their facilities and especially their staff. Unlike the cheap, brand name gyms, they actually encourage you to visit regularly. Pretty soon, Im going to be ripped. Thanks Healthtrax!

Love this place. Daycare is great. They had a huge update. A bunch of new stuff. The pool is also a big plus. Better than any other gym I have been to.

The facility is very clean and well-kept. The machines are always maintained if there is ever a problem. The membership prices are just a little expensive considering what their competitors offer.

Club is very clean, quiet, friendly. TV and free WiFi at club. Pools and hot tub/sauna great. Equipment is well kept, no breakdowns.

I referred someone to healthtrax and the newington location is the closest to her. Unfortunately Jeff seems to be very rude to people who are members and little is done about it. When the pool is broken, there is poor communication members to alert them and there is no compensation or partial reimbursement for the inconveniences that members have. The membership is pricey compared to other places and I feel members should be treated better. I won’t be referring anyone else to the newington location as a result. I hope management looks into this issue and communication is evaluated and improved.

Great staff. The pool. The jacuzzi. The sauna.

Ive only gone for the past two days but the staff were very kind and helpful. The inclusive classes are cool, I did mat Pilates yesterday and although not very intense, its good if you want to relax, stretch, improve balance, and strengthen a little all at the same time. Its very clean from what I saw and the equipment is pretty good. You can use the studio which has big mirrors, mats, weights, Fitness balls and more; as long as its not in use by a class. Not all gyms have a pool so having one here is cool. The locker rooms are clean and well put with a sauna. Theres a daycare for children and a microwave and small area if you have food or something. I get pretty excited to go back. They also have free belvita cookies for a nice carb filled snack when finished working out.

Great place to have workout friendly staff.

Its like the 1976 Milwaukee Bucks training facility. They constantly have the half a basketball court filled with people so dont count on playing basketball all day. The jacuzzi works half the time they constantly have issues with it and you cant bring a friend compared to other places. The benches are old and it looks like the gym from dodge ball you might patches himself there. Overall was dissatisfied with the facility and wouldnt recommend it until they update the place.
