I’ve been coming here every since they’ve opened. Great location don’t have to worry about parking there’s plenty. They serve complimentary drinks (sangria, water, coffee, tea) which I like!My last visit on 6/10 was exceptional the nail tech did a great job on my designer themed nails and did exactly what I told her to do (I didn’t get her name) but she will always do my nails from now on. My pedicure lady did great as well. No complaints.

Got a full set Powder-Dip on my natural nail. They have so many color options! I love how it turned out and the service was quick but still quality! I would come back again! Thank you 😌

(Please READ)Just left and overall, my experience was good! I cannot say the same for my mother though. Jamie did my gel mannie and regular peddie. Helena did the gold trimmings design on one nail for me. Both ladies were kind and listened to me and tried their best! However...Wendy did my mothers nail today and was rude. She was not as warm as the others that did my nails. I dont know if it was a bad day or if she couldnt understand what my mom was trying to communicate. I watched my mother try to explain in frustration. I tried speaking up for her but was seated away from her. Wendy initially ignored my mom till she kept speaking up for herself and pulled her hand away. Then Wendy dismissively told my mom to bring her hands so she could change her color. She kept painting the color my mom was trying to tell her she didnt like initially. Then she murmered something to the other girls next to her in Spanish. We speak another language too so I know this wasnt anything positive. But so unprofessional!I understand it can be hectic for these ladies and I usually avoid leaving bad reviews but there is absolutely NO reason to be rude, especially if we are not and especially when we are paying! My mom even tried to warm up to her as soon as we got to the salon but to no avail. Others smiled with us and got the job done, and LISTENED! We are not rude and respectful but try to be firm because we are paying for the services. Please be mindful that you never know who speaks your language, because I may not be fluent but I can piece together some phrases in Spanish. My nails are the green💚(with inspired pinterest nail art) and my moms are the maroon-ish. One nail was supposed to be Grey but Wendy ignored that instruction and did a subpar design instead with the Grey color😑.Please value your clients and I promise you will thrive even more! I might come back again because this was not my first time but I cannot say the same for my mom.

It took time for me to see who does what the best but now I LOVE THIS PLACE. Rosa did an excellent job with my manicure 💅 and eyebrows this week . She took her time and when she noticed something wasn’t right she corrected without having me to say anything. Beautiful 🤩 job!Kelly is my all time favorite😃😀😀 when it comes to getting a pedicure. She is the best and I only request her. If she isn’t there I don’t let anyone else touch my my feet 😂

Danny and Helen are my go to people. Their customer Service is impeccable and they make you feel right at home even if you’re a new customer. Since finding this nail salon I have been every two weeks along with bringing someone new every time I go. I bought my mother all the way from Georgia just to get her nails done here and Danny was the only person in a long time that was able to do her eyebrows right. Shortly after my grandmother went as well and she referred all of the woman in her building. This place is truly amazing

I was greeted with cold water for the warm outside temperatures, taken to the back immediately, and treated amazingly! My feet were treated even better! I love coming here! It’s been almost 2 years and I haven’t gone anywhere else and don’t plan to! I love it here! If any of the other reviews make you iffy, don’t listen! A bad experience can happen anywhere to anyone! I’ve been blessed not to experience such, but I wouldn’t stop coming! They know I say what needs to be said respectfully and that’s just it! It’s professional, it’s clean, and I’m always happy in the end!

I dont understand why I Paid $43 on my nails today this month Aug by ANGEL and Last Month I Paid $38 By DANNY. When I asked Angel Why 43$ - She told me the price went up and the lengtg. I Paid $35 In JUNE with ANGEL. My nails Length are Shorter and last month it was longer with Danny. Gel Polish is $10 from when I was told By ANGEL back in April. After visiting this salon the first time with a friend I fell in love. The second time I came alone a d it was a terrible experience. I was charged $30 for a gel manicure for my 12 year old plus she cut my fingers while rushing and my pedicure design was messed up prior to the UV light and when I informed Nikki (the stylist) she said she did to much already and left to go home. Worst of all I got my lashes done for the first time ever and that was the absolute worst because he folded my eyelid over the lashes and my eyes got irritated and puffy for weeks I couldnt take them off. However if the services was done right it would have been great because they lasted for weeks (nails included). I decided to try one more time before giving up and I went for a fill-in but the woman cut multiple of my fingers so I ended my service but I still had to pay smh. I could take find another salon where my nails lasted as long so I tried one last time just eyebrows and a fill-in and I am elated. Janet is wonderful she took her time and I couldnt have asked for anything better my entire experience today was pleasant and I will be back only with her.

Walked in last minute. Was greeted very nicely by the gentleman in the front. The woman who he said could assist me was also very nice. She did my eyebrows very well as well- I would highly recommend.They seem to be very good, from just my eyebrow experience.

They are nice but only a few of their workers can actually do very good work. They used to play music for the customer but now they only play Spanish music 🤷🏽‍♀️ . The best people to do your nails are Helen and Mike.

WORST PLACE I EVER MADE MY NAILS!!! I was hopeful in this place because besides being close to my house, I would have no problem parking the car since the nail spa is in a commercial space with parking space. The woman who made my acrylic nail, I believe her name is Linda, did the whole set in about 30 minutes. The nail doesnt have any curvature, horrible polish applied, acrylic remnants everywhere, horrible. And in the end with the pedicure I threw away exactly $76. Ill never set foot in this place again.

But i dont have the time this month. And thats why ive been trying to call first. Other than that, Natalie does my nails and i love her work so much. Never going back. I just moved to Newark from Jersey City and started going to this salon. Today was the worst nail experience I ever had. Went in for a fill-in, gel polish and pedicure, eyebrows and upper lip wax. All of this cost me $71 and it wasnt worth a penny.Once I got there a lady began doing my nails. As soon as she started shaping my nails I knew things were bad. The most important thing before polish is a good professional shape. Her shaping technique was trash. She barely shaped my nails before polishing them. My nails were crooked and different sizes and widths.Then she started polishing my nails. This is when everything went wrong the polish was clunky and uneven and it started to ripple under the UV light. So She had to remove all the polish but instead of fixing it she deciding to rush and do my eyebrows and sent me to get my pedicure instead. Then after that she had the lady who did my pedicure finish my nails and she did an even worst job.My nails look like a child did them. The polish is awful and messy. My nails are shaped poorly and the polish was applied very sloppy and uneven. On top of that there was very bad customer service. Im going back to Jersey City. Im mad that I had to pay anything.

HORRILE experience!!! They do not care to do a good job . I didnt even request a complicated design. The person whi did my nails couldnt even apply the nail properly let alone do a simple square shape. This place is horrible. I have gone here numerous times since moving to this area and this last time takes the cake. The cheap gel polish they use cracks almost immediately! When they first opened, they were diligent and focused on customer service, it was clean, & the energy was great. Now? Its, quite literally, a factory of rude, subpar, & overpriced techs. Theres a stale smell in the air from over crowding, everything has a layer of dust on it from nail debris, & Im pretty sure you dont need an actual license to work here because these women are worse than kindergartners trying to stay in the lines. This review is after multiple visits here based on its proximity. Yet another example of a business flourishing in a community that the proprietors dont reside in. Do not go here.

I do not recommend this place and will never go here again.It began with being offered a pedicure for $50.00(because of spa treatment) after refusing and almost leaving beautician lowered the price to $25.00(regular pedicure).Beautician was rough and inefficient. If you look at the pictures of my toes this is not what a good pedicure looks like. During the pedicure I was asked if I wanted my calluses removed for $5 extra as if this is not a standard treatment.The place is very nice looking but unless you are micromanaging your beautician don’t expect a decent job.

Loved how accommodating they were for walk-ins but there were a lot of people which I was surprised at 10:45am and not much space for social distancing. Masks were on but not properly on both nose and mouth.

They are on and off with the service. One day the nails look nice and next horrible. Pedicure depends who you get, how busy they are and if they arent fighting over who gets the next customer. Prices never seem to be the same.

My regular nail tech always have my nails looking wide, even time after time I tell him to make them look slimmer, and theyre closed on Sundays. I remember coming here before and they were extremely pack, but today I came, checked in and was appointed to Ana Chan and to say the least Im very very satisfied! My new nail home!! Ana was very professional and her Customer Service skills are awesome! GREAT JOB!!!

PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF MY COFFIN NAILS Clean & Nice decor. I see people mentioning beverages but No beverage was given to me even though I asked. Terribly terribly over priced, Especially given the location. $50 for acrylic full set with gel (which btw I did not ask him for, he just automatically began painting.) No cuticle work done at all. No lotion or standard hand massage was given. He did even ask me to wash my hands. I was rushed and it definitely was not near closing time. Very impatient, sighed about everything. He did my coffin nails awfully ! I will return if I am given a refund and a different person but NEVER to allow him to touch my hands. He was actually rude. Pictures are from yesterday.

I liked how my wax. Came out wendy took her time with my face and she made sure that i was cleaned up nicely. She also did my daughters toes nice when we came the first time.

The lady who did my nails rushed through them. My nails are not square at all and she charged me $5 to cut ... WHICH SHE DIDN’T DO. She just took her machine and filed it down shorter but it was rushed and sloppy. Here are my pictures of what I mean. I’m used to sharp square nails.. not rounded and one side is sharp and other rounded. First and last time coming here.

I gave 3 stars bc my nails extensions was done well. However, i wanted pearl white nails with a gold line,strip done the middle...SIMPLE!!! 2 DIFFERENT TECHS COULD NOT DO IT. THEY TRIED TO MAKE ME GET SOME CHICKEN FEET DESIGN INSTEAD. I SAID NO & THE MANAGER DID NOT WANT TO TRY A 3RD TECH. SO I LEFT WITH WHITE NAILS, NO DESIGN. THEY NEED TO GET THEIR DESIGN SKILLS & MATERIALS IN ORDER.

They have horrible customer service. First off they gave my party and I false information stating that’s one we check in we had the option to wait inside or outside and we would be contacted at the time of our appointment. Because of this my party and I waited elsewhere and returned after a lot of time passed. Then upon our return the host was extremely rude and ignored us. I would not recommend this place.

My fiancé wanted to surprise me with a mani and pedi at first everything was good. But also the guy that did my nails was rushing like crazy. The owner was no help. When I went to the back to get my feet done I bay standing there for at least 25 minutes no one helped. Worst service ever. Once I got my feet done there was no where to dry my feet off. The worst nail salon I’ve ever been too. I don’t write reviews but I had to write one. Terrible service never again.

They will talk about you in your face, because they assume you dont understand them, typical. This is my first and last time getting here. The woman doing my nails and her Coworker were staring at me for an uncomfortable amount of time while they spoke, so I decided to ask my nail tech; Ana Tran, Is there something wrong? She replied Oh nothing, you havent had your nails done lately they were pretty much poking fun at the fact that I hadnt been able to get a fill in for a little while, which is true because I work a lot. That was rude and stereotypical of them. Just because your speaking in another language, doesnt mean I dont have common sense. Not only that, her pedal was out too far, and she stepped on my suede boots. She apologized, but by then I was over the establishmentdecided to cancel the rest of the services, payed and left. I will not be returning.

They are so unprofessional here and really choppy service and exceptionally rude. Will not come back here again unless I’m in a rush; they give you crackhead jobs. They made me feel like I was wrong because I chose the color white. Not even the owner did a decent job. They can use a coaching and training course for sure

Why is tyty his nail salon open.Every nail technician needs retraining. I gave them 3 shots. 0 stars!!! I never write reviews but this place is TERRIBLE.My girlfriend made an appointment here for my birthday. For starters, they didnt sit us next to each other and when I asked if I could have the open seat next to my friend, the long haired boy who was very unprofessional and rude said that it was impossible. That made no sense, but I sat down where they told me and had a full set put on with NO color for $65. I thought this was outrageous especially bc ONE day later, 8 of the nails, chipped and broke. I called to make an appointment so that they could fix my nails. I called 3 times. All of the times they said to come in at anytime. When I arrived they made it seem like I was late and that they had been waiting for me all day. I got there at 1. The long haired boy again was unprofessional and rude and approached me saying that next time I had to make an appointment and seemed annoyed. I explained I tried 3 times but each time I called I was refused a specific time and was told to come whenever. I was then told that they originally overcharged me since I had no color put on my set. I asked if I could get a color change on my toes to make up for what they over charged me and for all my wasted time and troubles, having to come back just a day later. Also bc I had to pay extra giving the second person a tip ($30 worth in tip for both visits for their mistake) The person doing my nails said yes. I thought they would honor this, to keep a customer, but they did not. On my way out they told me that I owed $12 for my color change even though I was told differently and the TV pricing screen showed $10. At this point I was so aggravated and refused to pay. It ended in a screaming match and the owner chased me outside to my car. This place is AWFUL. Definitely the WORST experience I have ever had in any establishment. Spent $100 just for a set of plain nails and quick color change on my toes and they chased and yelled at me for $10. PLEASE DONT GO HERE!!

The guy at the front is nice and helpful. However, the nail techs were on speaker phone with their families the entire time chatting loudly and not paying attention as they worked and music blared loudly. Later on, 2 of the nail techs got into an argument, getting up from the customers they were serving to get into each others faces. Thus, the experience was more like a noisy flea market than a spa. Teaching the staff professionalism and attention to detail would really improve the customer experience

Best nail place ever! When I go, I go to Kathy always ! She’s the bomb, she does the best nails in there, different designs, outstanding work overall. She doesn’t rush, she takes her time and makes sure you got what you wanted. Ask for Kathy ! I always leave this place happy!

This is the worst nail salon ever! I made an appointment which got rescheduled to another time, I came in at the rescheduled time and still ended up waiting. I tried to get help from one of the workers but he had a attitude and was rude! If I make an appointment and its rescheduled, when I get there O should already be seated and someone working on SOMETHING! They moved me to the back and had me sitting waiting, I waited so long that my water for my pedicure got cold! I dont recommend this place AT ALL! Vivi nails is way better!

Really good pedicures! Although I went with a coworker and she wasn’t in love with her manicure 💅🏼. The place looks really nice 👍🏼 and busy. Is only 10 minutes from work walking so it saves me from going all the way to my favorite place.

I just got my nails done at Angel Nails in Newark. Mike did an amazing job! This is my second visit here and now i cant go anywhere else. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Nice music and courteos staff.

My polish lasted only three days

I always have a great experience when I go mainly because Ana (my favorite nail tech) takes her time, she makes sure her customers are satisfied, and her Son is really nice as well. Ive been going since they opened and I love it. I only have 4 stars because before Ana came, it was just ok....

My feet says ...thank you so much. Guys take care of your feet. I must say I was shocked to see you have this young Afro American armed officer who also acts as the shops manager. We patrons were all impressed with how she was running your shop. She was attentive and knowledgeable. By far a great asset you lucked up on. She also made my visit as a man comfortable. She even deflated patrons that had returned with quality complaints. 5 star for Officer Lady O I believe she calls herself.

Always love when I get my feet done at Angel Nails. Their customer service is great!!! I always feel like Im getting what I paid for. They take their time when theyre working on u, & dont just rush through it, thats one of the things I appreciate!! If I could give no stars I would. I’ve been there three times to get SNS. The first time my nails were beautiful. The last two times my nails were peeling and chipping. I’ve paid $35 each time. My money is too precious to keep paying people that don’t value their work. I’m DONE with Angel’s!!! It’s a shame you have to go outside of Newark to get your money’s worth.

Been a customer for sometime. While I have grown accustomed to the location they are not doing their best work. On more than one occasion I have returned a day or two later because the polished has chipped or my nails look a lumpy mess in better lighting. Also in the day and age of bacteria infections, they REALLY should consider using the plastic cap barrier for the pedicure tubs.

Most of the employees have no respect for POC... leave our neighborhood if you can’t treat us with respect! Plain and simple! If I could give you half a star I would but honestly they don’t even deserve that. *eye roll*
