This UPS store does not help with labels or tape. I recommend and referred to go to two other UPS store that help with labels and tape. This store is lacking some basic UPS standards. I wish I did not have to go to several store to have on small boxes shipped. I would not mind paying to have a label printed and a boxed taped properly to be shipped. I hope this store in the future can have a service that can help the need of the customers.

They don’t have the printing services (like all other ups stores).I have the label but I didn’t print it out. They told me they were not able to print it out for me. That’s fine. I left my packages with my friend here and I run out to another store close to it to print the label and come back here.But by the time, the guy want us to take the package out of the store.I had several packages. So I had to move out all the packages and go to another store to print the label and come back and move in again the packages.Now I understand why this ups location as so many bad reviews.

EASILY one of the worst serviced UPS Stores Ive been to. The most painful things is, its walking distance from where I live. The smallest of services, like, using a single envelope, cant be offered. Other reviews talk about the nickel and dime approach this owner takes, so I wont go there.Smug, nose-in-the-air responses from him from basic questions. We are not in the industry, we dont know particular rules. Often times the owners responses leave you walking away thinking, man, i was just asking because I dont know. Thankfully I found Niche on Mowry (I have no relationship with them nor any motivation to share that here), theyve been a breath of fresh air and also run by a family, Ive taken my business there happily.I hope you turn things around with your attitude, your services (I realize your hands are tied in some regards), you can do better.

I have known Indee and been a customer of his store for 25 years, he has helped me thru having to ship fragile and incredibly important items all over the country after my mother passed away and every item arrived perfectly!!! He is always fair and follows the rules while looking out for his customers!!!! I wish that all customer service was at his standard!!!

Went in to drop off a package I needed 1 piece of tape to fully close my small package. It was smaller than half a foot and they tried to charge me $1.99. NO MASK BTW!

Stay away if you can. They are unwilling to help, you wont get a good service, and they charge for taping your amazon return. $2 just for taping!full story: I went to this store to return an amazon item. The guy who works there was not willing to help and did not even pretend to. I didnt have the return label with me and wanted to print it there, but I was told that the printers were out of order. All 4 or 5 of them at the same time apparently! So, I went back home, printed the label, and returned to the store two days later. This time I was told that the package was not taped and I had to pay for taping it. He didnt even mention this the first time I was there. I have done a lot of amazon returns and this was the first time I had to pay.

This store has great service. I READ return policies and simply print and bring my label. It is not that hard people!!! Amazon pays UPS nothing to accept their returns. Stores/ Franchise owners loose money every time you return an item. So deal with paying 2.00 for tape and print your own labels at home!

This store has always been extremely helpful. Some of these reviews are ridiculous. I never leave store reviews, but I feel this store deserves my review. He has helped me so many different times. He has always been quick and courteous and Ive NEVER had a single issue!

Gone to this store on march 4th clerk doesnt look like he wanted to help. Walk into the store with unpacked items. I said i have a return. He answer what is it for. I told him for amazon then he told me that system is down and didnt even say anything after that and just looked at me. Took in my amazon gift return items to the UPS store on march 5th. The same clerk that was there was telling me that thats to many items for one packge to ship back. I told him thats what amazon has in one return label. He tells me okay dont worry ill take care of it. Still waiting on my my return to get processed. I look up the tracking information that he gave me on march 5th and it say shipment ready for ups when the shipment arrives at our facility the delivery date will be updated. I already drop the package off at ups. So i called the store and same clerk picks up and i tell him i dropped off items and it still hasnt shipped he tell me that they scan and shipped the item and to contact amazon.Worst customer service zero star if there was an option.

Manager wanted to charge 1.99 to 5 inch piece of tape on box, because it was ups prepaid. He still gets money from ups for the drop off but not as much as if shipping was bought from the store. I can totally see this store averages 2 stars. And the he’s cocky with it.

This location has always had great service for all my needs, postal, cable, Life Scan, etc...If you dont know how to tape a box and are too lazy to do so, get a life, or a baby sitter for yourself

Im SHOCKED to see these reviews. Im sure most are trying to reflect their perspective and I respect that. But I can only speak for myself and what I observe with other customers standing in line in front of me.The owner (Indee) has been nothing but professional (and super efficient) since Ive dealt with him. Hes also very friendly (just in a professional and serious way ... no shame there?). Since---in our conversations/small talk---he struck me as quite street smart about getting good deals in automobile purchases, before I was about to make a purchase, I called him up one day on their regular business line to pick his brain. He was nothing but courteous and helpful and gave me great tips as he was serving customers. Put me on hold a couple of times as he had to tend to customers, but immediately picked up where he left off until he felt he gave me all the insight he could.Anyway (ironically) I was coming here because I felt it was about time to leave a review he honestly earned long ago. Needless to say I was surprised to see these other reviews. My guess is, human nature is to want to convey any remote negative experience but to be lazy (as I have been) about sharing good experiences (of which Ive had MANY).The latest positive experience that shows how he goes above and beyond:My brother ran into some issues returning some of my Amazon items I didnt have time to return as I had to fly overseas. He told my brother take pictures of all the items, leave them (they were 8 items I believe), email me the labels and he ended with: Ill take care of everything.So, with all due respect to other reviewers, Im compelled to believe that those experiences (if true) are anomalies ... the exceptions to the rule.

As reported by several others, this guy is very rude and will often close the shutters before the closing time. I went on Wednesday at 6:52 PM and the store is caged up and lights are off. I again went yesterday at 6:55 PM and this guy says the system has been closed, he cant transact. He was blaming me for coming at very last minute. Just because he closes his shop before EOD my packages were returned to sender. No customer service and absolutely very rude. I tried to teach him some behavior but again he seems to be a frustrated fellow. Anyone knows how to report these drop off issues to UPS? thanks.Further update 7/28: I went there last week for a drop off and he refused service and even threatened to call 911, thats how I know he is reading these reviews and getting frustrated. He is such a rude and frustrating fellow with no manners at all as many others have also faced. Compared to the nearby place I now go called Niche Cafe, Fremont which treats you like customers. I am sure many of the folks are going there now unless a walk down convenience, as i have seen him being rude with others at couple of other occasions when i went to pick my packages. Stay away from this place..such a bad attitude from owner that takes away all the good spirit from u.

Dont go here. Worst employee with name Indee (Andy). I went to the store 8-10 times for different items, but that guy never took my packages. Always some excuses for not taking the package. Today he told me not to come to the store after I told him that I am going to lodge a complaint. His printer is always out of service. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

I have been there several times tried to return the amazon item, the person there always told me, sorry our amazon label printing machine is not working today ....... can some store manager try to fix this issue??? This UPS store didn’t accept my package and was already caged up and doors locked before their closing time. They close at 4 PM and I got there at 3:40 PM on 2/16/19. I had some important packages to ship via UPS and this was the closet UPS store near by. I will not be using UPS anymore as a parcel service. You guys wasted my time and really live up to your reputation.

Went there for Amazon dropThey said $1.99 for sticking label and packaging tape!I agreed but they asked for printing label!I said I have it in my Email.They said I need to print it out from computer.They showed me a computer and I needed to rent it hourly for printing!!But they said our computer is down!!!Seriously?!!!I think they can just have a ups drop off container instead of a store!Never go back to this greedy and awful service store!

I always have good experiences at this UPS so I was surprised to read the other reviews. Indee has always been professional with me and he always gets to the point (which is something I appreciate). Its always a smooth transaction whether its pick-up, drop-offs or anything I need to get custom shipped.

DMV better than this guy, I ship a package here, ask owner use their stap a little, they dont talk anything just shake his head. Last time we order a printing, this store guy cheating us price, we online order in another Ups store get better service and price. Poor service make poor business. I STRONGLY advise you AVOID diverting your pickup to this location! 32 out of 47 YELP! reviews are ONE STAR for this Newark, CA UPS Store and I experienced why. For one, so many mention how Rude the owner is. This is true. He closed an hour earlier than posted leaving me (and a confused UPS driver who arrived for a pickup while I stood outside the closed store) hanging. Others posted about the early closing issue. Wish I had reviewed first. Ruined a birthday gift surprise.Many other various service issues posted by customers. In addition he is unapologetic. I left a voicemail while I was standing outside the store letting them know I didnt appreciate the fact that the store closed early and I was confused by this. I made it a point to not be rude and was calm in my message, saying I would return in the morning. The next morning I arrive right at opening time and decided to not mention anything and let it go. Out of the blue he asked me if I left a voicemail the previous night and I told him I did. Thinking an apology was forthcoming he instead then tells me if I dont like his service I can use another UPS store. (Yes, really!). I then replied How can I use another UPS store if my package is locked in your store? He clarified by stating I can take my business elsewhere in the future. I calmly replied No worries I will. He replied Good. I am happy. Wow.... In fairness he was also calm in his demeanor, but this was just another example of what has been previously posted about this person and how he treats his customers.He gives a strong impression that he doesnt want pickup services, where there is no money to be made, and many of those who used him for drop off service indicate on YELP! that he will nickel and dime you and refuse services if it doesnt benefit him financially. UPS should pull his franchise license is my opinion. Read the reviews yourself to come up with your own opinion.

Looks like the person is running the store just to have sadistic pleasure of turning away customers and doesnt really bother about good service/making money. I walked out and went to another UPS on Jarvis and got my job done in seconds with extremely good service. I really am controlling my urge to type bad language, such horrible was the service.

Good experience visiting UPS Store Here. Service was quick and as it should be. I dont know why ppl says they are charging for tape! guys, these prices are from UPS and this is UPS franchise. Without the intimate details, I can tell you my experiences here have been atrocious. Both times I have been in, I dealt with the owner. During my last visit, he was rude, smart mouthed and flat out abrasive. I asked you must be the owner after he shot a nasty comment and sour look in my direction and he replied what gave me away?. I called him out for his poor attitude and told him that only the owner would treat his customers the way he treated me - he acted as if he couldnt care less about offering good service and retaining a customer. I have a UPS store in Fremont that I frequent because I have a mail box there and the level of service and professionalism far exceeds this store. STAY AWAY!!!

Agree w/ other folks. The owner is very abrasive, insensitive when he talks to customers - which gives the store a unwelcoming feeling. The first time i went he gave reprimanded me that i was not using the right tape and that i have to buy tape from his store. I left and returned w/ all my one box sealed. He saw me and said i am surprised you are back as I would have thought you would go to another store. - how can UPS let folks like this represent the brand. Shameful
