If I could give them 0 stars it would bed too much. The most incompetent pieces of you know what. I dropped off 9 boxes on 12/14 and 7 days later the theres no movement. The boxes dont even show as being received (they were never scanned!!). I asked the clerk that took the boxes from my hand and placed them in a cart where did my boxes go and she said she didnt know, she said they could be anywhere.I asked to speak to a supervisor and she claimed that that particular post office didt have a supervisor and that I needed to go to the main office.So now I have 9 angry customers that I will mostly likely need to refund their money because these lazy people didnt do their job and didnt scan the boxes like they were supposed to.

In was very disappointed with my experience here. The time it took for me to ship my package was way too long. The service here is very slow.

I have not received any of my mail from this post office or any other post office and then my mail always goin back to the post office when it should be left in my mailbox😡😡😡😡

I’ve never been so mistreated. Just AWFUL! Very rude, lazy, unwilling employees. Don’t do their jobs and no interest in helping whatsoever. Won’t go back there ever! Definitely don’t recommend it!

Been using this branch for 6 years 5 days a week for business and never had a problem the workers are always helpful and nice and over the years I watched a lot of people getting help from them .The Iron bound is a mix of cultures and languages and not all days or shifts has a worker that speaks or understand what the people are asking but they always ask the people in the line to helpthey even have a worker sitting in the lobby to take the mail that is already to go (computer Labels) wait time in line 1 Min. so if you can go to usps .com or any other app get your stuff ready and no more wait time .

Horrible service. Don’t treat people well. Never ready to answer questions and handle forms. Need training to treat people. The worst service at the Ironbound! Don’t recommend!

I absolutely hate going to this post office, none of the employees want to do their jobs or help. They are always behind the glass, absolutely no one to help you outside. If you want to ask a question you basically have to get online just to ask it. They are more concerned with doing tasks then servicing customers. One time there was a line out the door, and only one person working the line while two others were sweeping. Concerned more with sweeping than taking car of customers.

This is one of the best Post Offices in downtown Newark. It is the only post office where the line moves and the clerks are not playing around with something against the back shelf pretending to be working. It has a very small staff and they are very helpful even when they are not having the happiest day. They do not make disparaging comments to the customers and not all of them are perfect but they work and help you no matter what language you speak. I have tried every post office in Newark and I have always come back here. If you have a complaint about this post office you should move. This is my post office and it is the greatest in the city

I came here to send a letter to NY with a tracking number.. I go to the short, older spanish lady at the window and she’s telling me how much it is to send the letter and I’m talking to her saying that I was there 2 weeks ago and it was much less.. I know for a fact that there haven’t been any rate increases because I’ve been working at the post office for 22 years.. I explained this to her and her tone changed, saying I asked for the wrong thing.. I said no, it seems as if you want to rip customers off because they don’t know any better.. not coming back here, that window clerk is nasty af

About three years ago, I actually stopped going to this post office (Ferry St.) and started going to the one Downtown (on Clinton St). I took their abuse on Ferry St. for YEARS before it dawned on me that I could just go to another post office. On Clinton St, the service is very high quality. Dont go to the Post Office at Ferry St in the Pathmark Plaza: they stink!

The worst. I have lived in the area for 5 years, so this is unfortunately my post office. They are rude. They are slow. They speak to customers as if its a burden to them. One huge problem we (my roommates & I) have is the delivery service. They claim to come by and try to leave a package when well be home all day stalking the front door to make sure we dont miss them. Nothing. Only a notation online claiming they did come by. Lazy. Its infuriating.

Always they open late. Never open at 7am always people need to wait sometimes until 7:50am to them open the doors.please call and report that theyre not following the business hours correct. We need they service but they need us too.

Its true, they are unbearable. with no concept of what the term customer service means. i have no idea how they even got their jobs. They sound ghetto, and they lack any ounce of professionalism.

The most incompetent post office Ive ever been to. Not a single package that goes through this post office has ever been delivered to us successfully. They never actually bring the package, and no matter how many requests for redelivery you make, you will never EVER get your package. The worst.
