The representative are rude. If you are looking for friendly service with compassion dont come here. They are terrible and the management is no better!

Terrible, the guys at the place are really good, but the rest is just awful. I tried to transport an animal today, followed all the guidelines stated in their website, only to find out that there are another set of regulations by IATA (which I never heard of) that we also need to follow. How can this not be on their website? I had to reschedule the shipment for the next day. I Google IATA and there is no information, at least for free, you would have to spend $300 to purchase a book with such regulations. Unreal!!!Never again!!!
Excellent
If I could give a negative number rating, I would. I booked a reservation for a puppy to be shipped to my friend in Myrtle Beach. The cost was 244.00 and was supposed to take 6 hours. The employees at Newark were less than helpful with what I needed to do and gave me half hearted, abbreviated, cryptic, instructions. I was visibly distressed, not wanting to ship a 12 week old toy poodle puppy via cargo. Finally crying hard, they notice I was upset and made some sort of comment like Are you ok? So I left that little precious puppy with Delta, trusting he would get to Atlanta and be transferred to Myrtle Beach. Fast forward 6 hours and my friend calls me crying that no puppy is there and they do not know where he is. I gave her all the information I had again, and waited. The agent who worked for the airport in SC, not for an airline, finally tracked him down to Atlanta, where he was forgotten and not transferred. They told the agent he would go to a kennel that night and be fed and cleaned up and flown out in the morning. He finally arrived that next morning. Many people lost sleep and cried over what this little 3 pound puppy endured. He arrived lethargic, covered in his own excrement and was dehydrated and refused to eat or drink. Luckily this has a happy ending, but it took vet interventions. Do not ship live animals via Delta Cargo. There was no regard for us as customers, no communication to inform us about his delay, no due diligence taken to make sure the puppy was going to arrive safe or healthy. We doubt he was fed, watered, or taken to a kennel, honestly. And furthermore, Delta offered no apology, no offer of refund, nothing. They lost his vet record and papers. If I had more disposable income I would get a lawyer and sue for all the money back, parking, vet bills and pain and suffering for him and 4 adults. Delta should not ship animals via cargo. They should be ashamed. Boooo.
Wish I could give 0 stars to this service. Staff is unprofessional, lazy and rude. I was here to ship my puppy. But they would not allow her on the flight for numerous reasons. First when we came in they said the check in should be done 3 hrs prior to flight time. Calling delta cargo they clearly specify it is 2 hours. Clearly very lazy staff. We said we need 5 mins to put her in the kennel. But they would not budge. Next the kennel size was the issue. First they said the kennel is too small for the pup. We went to get the next size up for her flight next day. This time they said the kennel is the right size but no delta flights out of Newark allow this size kennel. Shouldn’t they have told us this in the first place! At last we were given no option from Newark to fly her out. We instead drove up to LaGuardia delta cargo and the entire process of shipping her was very smooth.
Definitely need to replace your Sunday morning staff at pickup... Utterly rude and unprofessional. My pup had arrived according to your site 20 minutes prior to schedule time and female personnel claimed it did not. Not only did I waited but endured listening to her ranting profanities while fellow co-worker attempted to explain to her what she did wrong. Not till my breeder called in directly to Delta with formal complaint regarding unnecessary delay and other staff confirmed the fact my pup had been there all along did the young lady hand me my paperwork and allowed me to take my pup home. In the fifteen years of using your service this truly was the worse experience!
ZERO stars for the most unprofessional, lazy, unfriendly shipment office I have ever dealt with. Several people shuffling papers, and their feet, when they muster enough energy to walk to the front...waited way to long for pickups time and time again. Hoping the management will replace these losers as soon as possible....United Airlines, we need your pet service back!!!!!
