What a nightmare. A young apprentice (named Micah? Michael?) cut my hair. I showed multiple photos of my last cut for him to do exact that. It was a wavy side part top. He couldnt figure it out - he spent 3 minutes on the actual front / top, then spent almost an hour fading the nape. Why? Kept turning the chair and did not ask me a single time how I like it until the very end. I was in shock. I showed him the photos again and said thats not what I wanted at all. He then started fixing it WITHOUT PUTTING THE CAPE on me, I got tons of hair all over my jacket, pants, undershirt, etc. I prompted him multiple times to put the cape back on, he didnt listen. After 1.5 hrs he finally gave up and asked the owner Rod to help him out. Rod immediately understood what I wanted and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. For all my trouble Rod told me and the apprentice it would only be $20 this time. After Rod left I handed the apprentice $25 for his effort. To my surprise, he had the audacity to hustle me and insisted that I need to pay up $35 on the spot. I was already late to my next appointment thanks to his lack of skill so I did not argue with him and cough up the extra. In summary a horrible experience. This employee is deceitful, disrespectful to customers and has a complete lack of skill. The only reason I did not give 1-star is because Rod the owner is an upstanding and competent person. However, if he doesnt straighten up his team hell lose more business as I highly doubt this was that employees first hustle experience.

I was not happy with their service because the guy who worked on my hair should have not been called a barber. He did not know how to use the scissor and comb. After like 40 minutes, someone else (maybe his trainer) came and told him to correct few places. Then I asked the other guy to fix my hair because I was already tired and in pain due to trimmer scratches. He started to fix my hair and he had to spend 20 more minutes 😒. I regret going their. I had cuts in my right side forehead and back neck.

Great place.. very clean. My son had his hair cut by the older gentleman. Loved it. Only downfall was the foul language and dress attire of another barber there (sagging pants showing of his underwear). Didn’t find it appropriate for children.LikeAnswer

My Husband and son gets their hair cut here. These are the only men of color we were able to find near us that cut hair. Their haircuts are ways nice and lines are crispy.

The best barbers here are Johnny and Jay they both cut my hair right from the start. The one barber here I dont recommend is abdul he gave me a bad haircut that he didnt even blend my baldfade. I used to come in as a walk in all the time but since I dont want to get him again from now on I would only come in as an appointment with Johnny or Jay, theyre the best so make your appointments with them.

I went to get a hair cut for the first time here and as soon as I sat on the barber chair I cut my finger on it. It was bleeding badly all day I dont think I would come back here again.

When I went there was a long wait and not a lot of seating. My barber was nice, but he broke skin all around my head and my brothers head when lining us up.

This place is great .. the barber Aroc was a New York City Barber and highly professional. I take my 12 years old and 16 year old boys to this place and they love it. I recommend this place to guys and galz who are into tappers cut or any latest styles. The price is moderate off course higher than cheap $7 - $10 hair cut places but definitely less than fancy hair saloons while with greater results.

Great place for a cut even for a wild 2 year old! Eddie gave my family a great first haircut experience for my son who is not easily tamed. Eddie made sure I brought my son with me so he coukd watch me get my hair cut. Then the next time I went in for my my cut again, he gave my son his first haircut. Everytime I went I had the best hair cut experience

I just got in town and really needed a cut. Earlier in the day I went to a barber shop that was well rated in the area and rated as an old school barber. I showed the gentleman how my hair is typically high faded and how I have it styled. He didnt do a terrible job but I knew he didnt really understand what I wanted. Im not one to confront someone especially a barber because they could really jack your wig up, so I left and went back to the maps and found this place wasnt too far but didnt have many reviews. Took my chance and sped over to hope someone could tighten up my fade, and let me just say they freakin killed it. Although I forgot to ask the girl her name she did a killer job, my girlfriend (who is a barber as well) usually cuts my hair but she isnt in town yet and honestly I may just have to relieve her from her wig splitting duties and continue to go here. As for the rest of the crew I watched the rest of them work while i was there and they all seemed like they loved working there and were super friendly. All in all I would recommend them to anyone in the area.
