I took my son in for his back to school haircut. We had never been here before so I decided to try to make an appointment the day before. They don’t do appointments but the lady on the phone was so helpful and gave me a lot of info including how to use their app and how it shows real time wait times and that you can check in through the app. We went on a Saturday after noon and we were the only ones in there which was nice. Checked in and was seen right away. Krystal did my son’s cut and she was great with him. He’s usually really shy but he opened right up with her. She cut and styled his hair very well and he loved it. Love that she new about gaming and dragon ball z and naruto to talk about with him too. Major plus as a parent! The timing was decently fast and the price was fair as well. I would highly recommend this place and for kids. Mom approved!!!

Let me start off this review by saying that the two ladies who work here were very nice and polite. When I walked in I was enamored by the large TVs, MVP packages, and the high tech feel of the place. The haircuts didn’t match the experience. I am an adult man and my haircut took the same length as my 6 year old who they had wear a mask. This speed of the haircut left most of my hair uneven and my sideburns were frilly and I spent the next 30 minutes at home cutting individual hairs trying to salvage the haircut. At one point I had to hold my mask over my face without the straps for a quick buzz to my sides. Also just my opinion but I feel like the spa experience should come first as there’s a reason you get your hair washed at a salon. This isn’t a complaint of the haircuts so much as a warning for others, I went here because they weren’t busy and took me right away while I appreciate that I should of waited for my normal barbers appointment next week and went overgrown another week to avoid this haircut. My sons haircut came out alright and they were very kind to him. If you have thinning hair that just needs a quick buzz and can’t be away from the game then this place for you otherwise avoid at all cost.

It was ok. After really looking at it, there was some place that could have been tighten up.

Previous 3 other shops (GC, SC, HC) closed or were bad experiences. Was hesitant to try a new place; however, had to get rid of this COVID hair. This was the best hair experience Ive had in a long time. Skilled stylist and great atmosphere made me feel like a champion.

My barbra, or hair stylist did a great job. Wish I could remember her name. Ive been to many barbra shops. I think Ill stay with this one. As she did a very good job.

Debrah was amazing. Gave me the perfect haircut. Just a simply explain action of what I wanted and she made it happen. Great personality as well!!! Will definitely be back.

I had a haircut by Brianna on 3/9/21. All I can say is it is one of the worst cuts I have ever had. Brianna literally refused to listen to my instructions and cut my hair so short I may need to shave it all off (yes, I look that ridiculous). Her words to me were I do this for a living, I am the expert, your opinion is irrelevant. An odd thing to say to a grown man. I work in a corporate environment and I am mortified by what Sports Clips has put me through. Brianna should not be allowed to touch another customer with her attitude. Buyer beware.

Honestly one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. It had been awhile since I got a haircut due to COVID-19 and the last time I got a haircut was at a Sport Clips in Florida where they completely butchered my style. My stylist, Alison, was extremely professional and did an exceptional job with cutting my hair. Complete opposite experience than my previous Sport Clips cut in Florida, and everyone working here was very friendly! I will be coming back. I also noticed it was very clean, and people were sanitizing any surfaces you could touch frequently.

Went here earlier today with my son & his mother to get my son a hair cut, I had to wait outside do to Covid, when they finally got back in the truck I seen my sons head, and it was terrible, was rushed, and all chopped up. I know my son can be a pain in the a** sometimes when it comes to haircuts, and it might not come out perfect, but this person didn’t even look like they knew how to cut hair, it was ridiculous looking.We didn’t even bother going back in, I didn’t want his hair to get more messed up then have to buzz it at home, so we went somewhere else.Wouldn’t recommend Sports Cuts for children at all.Lady at the door was nice though, I guess. 🤷🏼‍♂️ 😂Edit: Oh & we also got there on time for our appointment, but still had to wait an additional thirty minutes. 😒

Good talk, bought some products that helps me how when I shave, great job on my shave and the MVP special. The only thing was It did feel slightly quick as if i was being moved along really quickly, maybe it was just me, my first time there so Im not sure if their was a time limit to each session, but it was slow that day. So im not sure, but overall I will go back and be a repeat customer.

How are they in business? The app says a zero minute wait, I walk in to a 10 min wait for my son and a 22 min wait for Myself. After my son showing the stylist a pic of the desired cut he lost 3 inches of his 5 inch long hair which he only wanted a trim up. On to me....again starting the introduction with a pic I ended up with the worst cut ever. I cant believe I even tipped them, I sorta felt bad because Im not sure if they are trained....either way I will not be back to that location. And why do you get the hair cut first then washed and whatever, and...they placed a Hot towel on my face, which she did ask if the temp was ok, which it was, then she proceeded to press it too hard and too hot.

Krystal and one of her colleagues (a tall young lady with black-rimmed glasses) have the most infectious welcoming smiles and upbeat attitude(s) I have experienced these two young professionals make me keep coming back!

Signed in to a 33 minute wait time. 40 minutes later, it was down to 28. All the while watching the staff walk around chatting. Would you wait an hour to let a disinterested employee touch your hair? I didn’t. I won’t waste the time here again.

JUst walked in to but a $100 gift card and they did not have any. How does that happen? Had to go find another Sports Clips in Newark which the stylist was nice to direct me too, even though the Newark one was not affiliated with this one. ☹️☹️☹️

Took my son to get his hair cut for his drivers license photo. The only thing that needs done to cut his hair is take a razor with a #2 or #3 attachment and shave it all off. He wont let anyone touch the beard. Only reason we went to a stylist is because I didnt have time to do it for him. Imagine my surprise when we ended up having to pay close to $40 for a 5 minute haircut...And he didnt even get the MVP experience they hype so much.

I went here last Saturday and the ladie who cut my hair was really nice, but she didnt know how to cut hair or trim eye brows. I asked for an undercut with a fade on the sides and a hard part. I even showed her pictures of how I wanted cut, but she never faded the sides and cut about 2 inches of hair off the top which was not want I wanted. Then the hard part she gave me is about 5/8 of an inch thick. I had to go to another barber shop to cut the sides shorter to make it look right. I will never go back. ($30 haircut plus tip)

I guess I have to schedule another cut with a barber to correct my cut... why did I even tip knowing this was such a crappy hair cut. Wish Christina was friendlier and wasn’t all over the place with scissors . On the positive side I’m glad I left it high enough for it to be corrected.

Very friendly environment but the haircut was not impressive. Very sloppy and did not listen to detail at all. Just want the top of my hair to have a light trim and it’s basically gone because so much was cut. Would have been 5 stars if the haircut was somewhat decent

I have been getting my haircut at this location for 3+ years and the original crew that was there was great and all staff knew how to cut hair. About 1.5 years ago the entire staff left due to ownership issues. The next staff werent as skilled overall but a few were good stylists. Now those people are gone and an even less skilled staff is in place. Many have voiced issues with the owner as the reason for all the staff turnover. A few of the original crew are now at the Newark location and I will be going there in the future.

Actually would give my experience a zero. So it was Sunday a popular day for working man to do his personal things. I walk in and immediately felt out of place because I had never been there. They looked at me like I was doing something weird. Welcomed me and told me to log in. . sat there for 30 minutes no one said anything else to me to assure me I was going to be serviced. Only two girls working and one was talking more than cutting her client. I walked out obviously with all my money in my pocket still, pisssed

I liked the atmosphere but wow my stylist was awful. Unfriendly, didnt bother to ask my name, make eye contact, or say much of anything for the 25 minutes I was in her chair. She trimmed around my right ear but not the left, and shook a bunch of hair down the back of my neck while taking the smock off of me. I wont be coming back, that stylist was unprofessional and did a poor job. Heading home now to trim around my left ear.

TL;DR: Khristeen gave me a great cut and I liked the atmosphere.The sports theme nor the ability to watch a game really mattered to me. The use of Tea Tree products was nice and the massage was unexpected. I felt a little uncomfortable at first because Im not used to such treatment but it was a relaxing experience and a good cut with great service.

Worst customer service. Never have I seen a gentlemens regular hair cut take 30 minutes like my boyfriends did. The guy who cuts hair could not have moved slower. Hair cuts are horrible, worst job I have seen.! My boyfriend never sshould have had to pay. Calling tomorrow for a refund.

Off and on been going there to over a year now pretty decent cuts for the most part. However the wait time today when I went in was suppose to be 10-15mins, I ended up sitting there for 40mins while someone at the front counter was just on their phone. Wasnt sure if they were a stylist or not but eh guess new management. Probably wont be going back. Sorry =/

The owner is a sexist pig who doesnt treat his staff with respect. Losing a whole team of stylist including the managers in less then 4months. This owner is bipolar and wanted to drop stylist pay $2 as one of his hissy fits. Please do not patronize this jerk....Sincerely every stylist that has left or was wrongfully terminated. How do u terminated someone while away at a funeral? Sad case of an owner.

My husband just received one of the best haircuts at Sport Clips Christiana. Not only does he look sharp, his neck is super smooth (highly recommend the shaper shaver) Sherry was very professional and absolutely made his day!

This is the second time I gave this branch a chance. I gave specific patches to watch out for and they still mishandled the areas. Its small enough of a mistake that I can probably grow it out in a week and have another stylist fix it. Staff were friendly, it just frustrating I didnt get the look I want.

I really dont understand where these bad reviews are coming from. Must be some hate mongering because Ive been going there for over a year, never a bad experience.

They really do not do anything more than take the clippers to your head to shorten it, no styling whatsoever, dont even take a brush to it once. They are a bunch of amateur women with no business working in a barbershop, I went twice just give them a fair chance, second time was worst than the second.

They don’t know how to use scissors at all. A guy from this saloon gave bad hair cut to my husband. He didn’t even use scissors and just trimmed every inch of the head.I wish there were negative points to give.

Jessie saved my haircut today.Look I was ready to write this place off after todays haircut. Victoria lacked talent and technique to put it mildly. Her #2 on the dudes looked like she hadnt touched the trimmer to my scalp at all. My top was unruly and the edging around my ears was not sharp.it looked like I hadnt even had my hair cut.Luckily I decided to walk back in and Jessie was at the front desk. I told her I wasnt happy and can she sharpen me up. She said yes right away and took me back and spent basically another full haircuts time fixing the errors. Clean and sharp edges. Well blended sides. Clean ears, shorter cleaner top.I cant thank Jessie enough. Seriously if a manager is reading this, give her something extra for her effort.
