I was pleased with the space and beauty of having my wedding here. But there wasn’t great communication at all. I was told one thing and then the day of was told different which was really upsetting and off putting.. When going over last details/walk through I was told our 5 hours wouldn’t start until the bar opens, when I decide to open the bar(so I chose 6pm, after ceremony and pictures were done) I thought that was really cool, but night of they literally told us at 10 we needed to leave now, and I was super confused because I was told we’d have 5 hours when bar opens, so I found they opened the bar earlier than I had asked for so my time was cut and I wasn’t aware. Another thing I ran into, When booking with Bentley I was told we wouldn’t have to worry about picking up decor until later that week because of (well of course honeymoons that occur right after) and I was told not to worry about the clean up at the last walkthrough as well, but day(that night) of they told us right before we were leaving that we needed to be there in the morning to pick up. So that was kind of frustrating, on top of that we were told how we did nothing when it came to cleaning up my decor(they literally started at 9:30pm) picking my stuff off tables. Not only that I didn’t really have a great reception but felt there was wronged communication and it just made the day honestly upsetting...also wanted to add, they told me if I didn’t come get my stuff by 11am they would place all of my stuff outside..

Went for Church, and too my surprise they had numerous things donated, 4 the church too give out too the community, I ended up with a very nice Trail Pack, AMountain Quest Trail pack for camping, I was very blessed with this.. Thank you Once again,

Had a school prom here a while ago. Absolutely no complaints besides the crazy traffic. Not their fault though, its prom! I had a great time here

An old post office turned venue. Come here if youre looking for a unique place to host your next event. The atrium was the location of the ceremony and the main room made a great reception hall. The venue comfortably fit 110 guests with tables.

My daughter was married here in December. It was such a beautiful venue for a wedding! The management and staff were willing to help with anything. I definitely recommend this place.

The Skylight is a very unique historical building with a lot of charm and beautiful architecture. Bentley and his staff were very flexible and easy to work with, making themselves and the venue available around our planning and setup schedule for our wedding which we very much appreciated. We received many compliments on the venue!

Had my wedding here. This venue is a gem in Newark. The high ceilings and lighting is beautiful. Wish I could just throw a party here.

Truly unique Bentley is a great person

Large beautiful room but the sound in there sucks You could not hear for the echo and distortion.The room doesnt stay a constant temperature, either way to cool or to hot . It would be great for large groups size wise if these promblems were fixed.

Acoustics were terrible, I couldnt hear a single word of the wedding I was there to see, just the air conditioner. Pretty out of date for the type of venue it is.
