I came here a few weeks ago to get a tire repaired. It turned out that I needed to replace two. They charged low prices and got the job done! Then, with my luck, I hit a significant pothole. Cracked a wheel. So I brought it back to see what they could do…John helped me out on a Saturday by referring me to a wheel repair shop. He didn’t even charge me for taking the tire off to check it out. Just made that recommendation after he saw the wheel was cracked. I brought the tire and wheel back for them to balance and put it on for me. Dominique assisted with this job. They took care of getting everything set for excellent prices. Their customer service was next level! I highly recommend them! I think they’ve seen me enough for a few weeks, but I’ll definitely be back!

This by far has been the best customer service received in a long time! I didn’t think any auto service places would provide good customer assistance at this size. They were packed however it was an individualize experience, they were knowledgeable, great pricing, and they made credible suggestions without trying to force me into services. I did not mention, I was a retired technician who was too lazy to do the work. Marvis I’m Newark not only got the job done but just got a loyal customer!! Management and everyone was so nice and helpful.

My visit at Mavis in Chestnut Hill Plaza was fantastic. I had a nail in the tire, and the team was quickly able to identify the problem and suggest a replacement tire all while being explanatory and transparent about the benefits of my options. Additionally, a representative was willing to engage in a 10-minute phone call and file paperwork so my insurance covered the expenses for me. I will definitely be returning to Mavis for my car needs, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of vehicle assistance.

The staff here is so helpful. After helping get my new tires, to a month later when a nail punctured my tires they patched it for free. And then again when it started loosing pressure again. They have been so helpful and friendly each time Ive come in.

Service was horrible. Had ny Daughter go Saturday afternoon with my grandkids took 4 1/2 hours on a scheduled appointment to get 4 new tires installed. Then she drives home to Baltimore from Delaware and 1 hour later she had to out air in both front tires. Sunday morning the right side front was flat. So we got air in the front tires to drive back to Delaware to fix the problem. Get there and they tell it would be about a 5 hour wait. So I told them thats not If acceptable you need someone to take care of this problem as soon as possible. They come back in tell me that they sold me a Defected tire and tried to gave me a totally different one, just one to fix the problem because the one we paid for was out of stock. So finally they got us 3 hours later 4 matching one of lesser value. Its was all kids working there ages 25 under very poorly ran.

Mavis Discount Tire, home of the 120 minute single tire change. I’d come back for an oil change, if I weren’t worried about the Sun burning out before they finished.In all seriousness, there is a severe lack of urgency at this location, coupled with insufficient staff (I counted 5 employees and 7 active bays).Britt, who works the manager, gives customers a consistent, but inaccurate estimate of “one hour, but probably not even that long”. To be clear, I watched two other clients be promised that time table for equally simple repairs (tire change, and wheel swap).I had been to this location one time, assisting someone else, a couple of years ago, and had experienced some minor delays. In preparation, I called 3 separate times confirming my appointment for the tire swap. Additionally, Mavis called me 2 separate times the day-of to confirm my appointment. But upon arriving to the location, Britt (who was one of two different people I spoke with on the phone) had no recollection of our conversation. John was the other person I had spoken with over the phone.Other behaviors witnessed:-employees stopping to text on their phones in between bays for 5-10 minutes at a time-employee taking 4 tries to pull a light duty pickup truck (Silverado) into bay 6-Took 2 different employees to figure out how to get a wheel off.In conclusion, if you have 4 hours of time and the patience of every saint ever to exist, definitely patronize this Mavis Discount Tire.However, unless you are immortal and do not value your time, I urge you never to step foot into this business.

Honestly the best possible experience I could have asked for. Britt, John and Dominique were all professional, quick, and knowledgeable. Helped me a lot when I was stranded out of state and got me back on the road ASAP and affordably. Def recommend!

Great for Maintenance Jobs!Customer service from the service writers is top notch. They made sure that I got all the discounts and coupons that I qualified for. Educated me on the company policies about lifetime warranties and customer satisfaction guarantees. I got a brake job, oil change and standard quarterly maintenance services. Quality of work is good, the only Concern was the length of time it took. I was waiting for over 3 and a half hours. Luckily I had the time to invest. Some people may get annoyed at that long of a wait. I was okay with it.

HUGE Thanks to Mavis Discount Tire in Newark!!!While driving through the night on a 800-mile roadtrip, I got a flat tire. After finding & staying in a local hotel, I called just about every tire repair shop in the area that would be open the next morning (a Sunday, I might add). Mavis was able to get us in and out with no appointment in a timely manor, not to mention their quote for the tire & service fees was half the price of their competitors. The customer service was great! Very kind and helpful workers who helped us in no time, getting me back onto the road safe and sound. What had started as a potentially scary, desperate situation, being on the side of I-95 at midnight with a flat, ended up being fixed by the next morning. Thanks so much to Mavis for saving my butt!!

Seemingly great facility and great bargains. Staff seems frustrated with organization and appointment taking programs. I made an appointment with the local staff to have four tires replaced. They offered a great deal and suggested an appointment time the next day. When I arrived I was encouraged to drop off and they would call me when ready. But in this situation I was not able to take advantage. My vehicle was moved into the bay one hour after my appointment time. I thought..not bad considering how busy they were.... but my car was not even touched for another hour. Then it took two hours to complete the project. No updates by staff until I started questioning. No sense of urgency from anyone on staff. Four hours later I was paying for having four tires mounted, balanced, and installed. The service supervisor did give me a free oil change card for the time I was there and thanked me for my patience. He explained that they were given 13 appointments not to mention others, from the corporate call center....all at 8 AM which put them behind all day. In all tires were a great deal and I appreciate the free oil change.

I have had my vehicle serviced at this store four times and this team of employees are courteous, professional and very informative to keep my vehicle safe and on the road.

I was driving hail mary ftom NC back to MA after a funeral and noticed a bubble on my tire at the rest stop on 95.... early on a sunday morning. Called Dominique who picked up on the dot at 9am... sure, come on over, well get you moving. I was back on 95 with a new tire in less than an hour. It was the least disruptive pitstop Ive ever had to make, and the staff was so kind, courteous, and helpful, I barely noticed the setback. Shop is clean and safe. If I lived nearby this would be the only tire shop I used..

Came in for my appointment, limping on a rapidly flattening tire, and Mavis distributors made an Oops and didnt put my tires on the truck for delivery. So, being stuck at the store with a flat, sliced, tire, and missing the tires we ordered, I was stuck. But Jon, the manager went digging in the inventory, found a comparable model, set me up and made it right, with a price match. They got me back on the road!

My car has a slight flat tire.Usually after I inflate it, about six days later, the car prompts me to inflate it again.I went to your store and decided to fix the tire.First, they told me that the valve core of the tire needed to be repaired, and it would cost $32Then they called me and said the tire pressure sensor was broken and it cost $115.I saw the broken sensors, and the broken parts looked very new, and I took pictures of them.My question is, how did my sensor break down?If it had been damaged before, there would have been a very serious leak.It cant be a slow leak.I checked on Amazon for $40 for four sensors, and I was asked to pay $100 for one.The point is that I still dont understand how my sensor broke？？

Came in to had my flat tire looked at to see if I could have it plugged or what my other options were. They had told me “good news your tire will be able to be plugged that’ll be $25”. I was relieved until someone else had come out to inform my I actually needed a new tire…Being confused and misinformed I asked pricing and stock on tires. They didn’t have my tire in stock so I slept on the decision and decided to go to another place of business (Diamond State) for a second opinion. Diamond state tire was able to plug my tire and be HONEST with me! Very disappointed with the miscommunication and potential dishonesty of this shop!

Dont come here unless you want to be swindled. My fiance came here for TIRES on 6/13/21. They convinced her to get an oil change which resulted in the car not starting. There was nothing wrong with the battery til they touched it and Im certain they left it in neutral on accident. They expect us to accept this as happenstance and Instead of taking ownership of their error, they charged her for the new battery. On top of it all they had the nerve to make a joke about it, then said too soon?. Sabotage and exploitation isnt funny and to express my lack of humor I will be doing everything in my power to bring awareness to this including social media. DONT TRUST THEM.

What a horrible experience! They cracked my rim and are trying to blame me for the services they didnt provide. I purchased four new tires with sensors and took them to this location to install, align mount and balance later that evening I noticed my tire sensor was marking that i needed air... long story short my rim is cracked and they are stating it was cracked before hand but even if it was ( which is wasnt) why would you put my life and my families in danger by installing a cracked rim on a new tire? Horrible experience will be contacting an attorney if the district manager can not get this resolved.

I had a flat tire around 6:00 today at night and I had to call my insurance until my truck this was the place that was closer to get a new tire these guys are very energetic and very respectful and hopeful and funny at the same time cuz they like to joke around but they get to work done and theyre good with customer service and this is the place to get your tire at fix and theyre still working on customers car is here I recommend them 100%, if you need any help or any customer service. And there was one customer that didnt like one of our tires that she got somewhere else and they actually was willing to work with her and said next time you come by we can look at the tire together and see what the tire you would like to have on there over here in the conversation and the guys were very respectful and helpful with her and she was very pleased with it. Thank you to the Mavis service guys and welcoming me and my wife to there family services. Thanks again guys.
