Went to Tito’s last Wednesday for a rebuilt transmission and he did amazing job. It was fair priced and I also received a 12,000 mile warranty or 1 year warranty. He had my car ready that Sat before Mother’s Day. I highly recommend him.

Titos performed a transmission fluid replacement on my van. The price was fair and the service was fast.However, they told me to fix the leak the transmission needed to be completely rebuilt.I got a second opinion in Brooklyn and it turned out the leak was from a hose. It got fixed for $100.This is a big detail to overlook, hence the rating.

LOOK HE FIXED MY RADIATOR AND CHARGED ME $650. Which was supposed to be $300. He’s a cheat.

I was researching for an above average transmission shop to bring my 2005 Jeep Wrangler to, transmission and oil leaks from multiple locations. I wanted it fixed and fixed correctly, I love my jeep what can I say,After asking around and searching online I found Titos Transmission shop. I called him on a Thursday told him briefly what was going on, I told him I’ll drop it off Saturday morning, Monday morning he looked over it thoroughly, he told me exactly where the problems were,what needs to be done to fix it and exactly how much it would cost to fix. Tito asked me for authorization to begin working on it, my answer was absolutely yes because I picked up the vibe 2 times talking to Tito, once on phone 2nd time in person that he’s the real deal Proffessinal I need working on my jeep. Wednesday morning came and Tito called me and said I can pick up my jeep it’s fixed and leaking absolutely nothing,changed some transmission lines and gaskets and a couple other things. I went back to his shop Wednesday evening and picked it up. I have to admit I was a little skeptical thinking the jeep is over 15 years old and has to be leaking from somewhere. Let me tell you,it’s not. I highly recommend Tito and his shop. He definitely gained my trust and a loyal customer. Prices were definitely fair,extremely professional and the man knows what he’s doing.

I took my 2007 lexus GS 350 to Tito for a complete transmission rebuild, and for some engine work. He was very knowledgeable, he knows his stuff and nice. The price was so very reasonable compared to the 6 other places that I visited. Tito delivered exactly on time as promised, and my car is running as brand new. You can barely hear it running, because it is very smooth. Tito is the man, look no further.

I called Tito’s Transmission after getting outrageous pricing from transmission shops in east Stroudsburg Pa which is 55 miles away from Newark Nj. Tito gave me a great price, I drove to his shop and spoke with him in person. After discussing my transmission problem on my 2016 Chevy impala I had the car towed within hours from Pa to Nj. Within a week my car was repaired and it’s running like a brand new car!Salute to Tito and his employees, they are a class act!

I would have wrote this sooner, but I had a wedding to attend, I really dont have to say much. The previous customers have said it all. Guys, think about it; what business do you know with almost a 5 STAR RATING on Google? Tito is one of the most honest people as well as mechanics I know. I have a 2000 Honda Accord and the 98 to 2002 Honda Accords are notorious for slipping and hard shifts after 100,000 miles. Its a Honda defect that once it goes bad, you have to update the internal transmission components with a rebuild kit and torque converter. I took it to Tito and in 2 days, he rebuilt my transmission, new torque converter, clutches, bands, etc. The car shifts better than ever! *** IF YOU WANT A GREAT PRICE ON REBUILDING YOUR TRANSMISSION, PLEASE GO SEE TITO *** Theres also a mechanic their named Flaco. I want to acknowledge him as well. He has a Honda Accord as well and can tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. By far, the best transmission shop in Jersey. No other shop has a 2 day turn-around on rebuilds.

I have been going to Tito’s for over 10 years and thru those years I’ve had 4 cars and he has never failed or given me false information. Always given me a fair price with warranty. Unpleasant experience. The guy who attended me was grumpy, even though it was a Monday morning and there was no one else in the shop. Also, the “stay away from working area in a separate room for insure purposes” is a terrible excuse when you’re having your car being serviced by someone you don’t know, meaning, there’s no opportunity to develop trust as process can’t be transparent, and if it’s related to a car, it must be transparent. I understand that a car shop has many opportunities for accidents, specially to people not familiar with the environment and tools, I get it, but they should consider having a transparent glass closed room that can give you the opportunity of follow the service performed in your car. Car services is all about trust, period. Also, associates should be a little more friendly when talking to customers. If service is transparent but associate is grumpy, it won’t help much either.

Ok, read the reviews, contact the repair shop and was informed that all repairs are covered for 1 year or 12,000 miles (Howard). Now I am total confused, my sister had her car repair, complete transmission and motor mounts; traveling on holiday car smoked and was a very scary situation, car returned (had to have the car towed, high cost $300+ Hazlet/Keanburg) and now your shop does not want to make repairs! Is that because she is a female? I would like a response! If not, my recommendation to her is to contact the Better Business Association; his is not GOOD BUSINESS! I look forward to your response, thank you!

If the rate was more than 5 stars I would give a 10. I have a 2004 VW toraueg, not an easy SUV to work on. I had my trans rebuilt and control arms replaced. The respect Tito and Howard showed made me feel so comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Titos for all your car needs. Titos stands by his work 100%. Very Very satisfied with his work. I can go on but you will have to see for yourself and i ppromise you, you wont be disappointed.

I went to there because I have a gmc yukon xl, 3 months ago my mechanics made the trasmisión in miami so the car was OK but I came to new jersey driving and one day I felt a litte bad thing from the transmision and the engine light was on.. I went to there because I read good reviews. What happened?? He drove the car around 7 minutes and when he stopped he told me the transmision is warning we need to rebuild! I said what?? How and specialist in transmision will say you that without putting a scanner! check the oil, check the car in general I said are you sure he said yes. But he never put the scanner and nothing just drove the car and I asked how much is it 2600$ what??? OK sir thanks and I left. What happened I went to another specialist and my cars just had deprogrammed transmission ( computer) they put scanner analyzed the codes and reprogrammed. Right now my car is good and they told me you transmission is really good doesnt has any problem just that happened if you Had problems with the battery I paid for that just 250$. that happened one week and half ago... Just be careful the people need to be alert with workshops like this. What happens if I belive them and pay 2600$ I lost the money just for a minor failure.

Well let me start here I brought my f350 2010 to Tito because tuck was make a winning noise, I was told it was the trans, so says he gonna take trans apart n send me some pictures of the problem well hmm never got that instead I got you owe me 2500 for transmission, so me n my wife pay with cc, n he tells us his printer broken can’t give us a receipt, I get outside start my truck n truck is still making same sound it did before came to his shop, so tells us bring it back Monday it was sat at 5pmWell drive truck home 7 miles n pull truck in my driveway n what you know trans fluid all over the bottom of my truck n driveway, we’ll try n call Tito no results, so Monday morning co ta ted him explain about my driveway and all the trans fluid, says bring the truck down hmm u mean the one with couple quarts trans fluid all over my driveway sure, I get on parkway n78 n truck dies, so call Tito again says he on his way with truck lol not tow truck his Land Rover to put trans fluid in my tru k yeah that didn’t work, low n behold half my day shot Waite for tow truck n tow truck to shop now says that ow I was supposed to ground the trans out n I didn’t so now half to redo the torque converter n ground out trans. Supposedly changes torque converter n grounds out trans n now my fog lights both blew out tail lights don’t work blinkers don’t work, rear view camera don’t work!Now after we redo supposedly the trans again I still have same sound tells me no that’s a different sound someone else looks at truck says ohh it’s your idler pulley changes the $40 part n my truck makes no more winning sound but now I have leaky trans n multiple problems electrically because trans was not grounded out to ford specs, n after going to ford found out at about 80k truck had trans warranty replaced so hmm 30 k miles miles n I needed a trans, especially after ford gives 3 years or 36k on trans warranty, but I got a no receipt 1 year 1000 mile gaurantee or should I say a tail light warranty when u don’t see the tail lights you don’t see the warranty, been back 3 times to resolve or problems caused by Tito, guy is a crook starts work on your truck with no authorization signature or anythingBeware sounds real good to good to be true, n usually is crook is a crook is a crook n I will tell everyone I know n every tow truck co in the area I know will also tell people to stay away from Tito’s crooked transmission guess services

Titos is a crook. I went there with my sister a couple months ago and he charged her $100 for a diagnostic and then a month later I went there for my car he told me to diagnostic was $50 then when I tried to pick up the car he told me it was $75. Basically what Im trying to say is there is no set price.

Titos mechanic sucks he use to be a good mechanic now he just dont care how his workers fix your car i got an altenator fix and when i picked up my car i had to replace a water pump and never again will i go to him again i hope he lose business.

Much much better than the company workshop. I was having some issues with the throttle on my Honda Accord and I went to the Honda service center. After charging me a $120 diagnostic fee, they gave me a long list of things, some of which were not even necessary. Since I suspected foul play I went to Tito and even he agreed that the workshop was trying to fool me. He fixed what was actually faulty and it costed me a fraction of what the company workshop had quoted.
