Super impressed with Adam at Wood Vitalize.  I had an issue with floor damage that I discovered once tenants vacated the property.  They had stored black plastic bins underneath the bed and in the coat closet that removed the finish off the floors and stained them.  I had called other wood experts and did not get a response back.  Adam called me soon after I left a message on the business line.  He scheduled to fix the floors soon after our first call.  I was grateful that  he fit me in, even with his busy schedule.  The  price he quoted was reasonable and the work he did to fix the floors was perfect.  Now are floors are back to where they were before our tenants moved in.  Should we need further work on our floors, we would use  Adam again for sure. My husband reached out to Wood Vitalize after reading reviews online. Adam was not only very responsive and professional, but also very knowledgeable about wood flooring. We purchased an apartment earlier this year and Adam and his team refinished our parquet floors. My wife and I recently hired Wood Vitalize to refinish two bedroom floors in our prewar apartment. When carpeting from the prior owner’s renovation was lifted, we found the original oak hardwood intact in most places, but in need of patching/replacement in a few spots. Adam and his team refinished and stained the bamboo floors in our new condo before we moved in. They were super professional and obviously cared about the job being done right. Bamboo floors can be tricky to stain since its a grass essentially bound by glue, not a real wood. Adam explained the pros and cons and showed me multiple stain samples so that I could be confident in my decision to go through with staining. Adam and his partner were early for a 9 am appointment. Explained the process and went about their work, actually ran later than he expected. In all were there for about 10 hours. Did a fantastic job, no dust or mess. And actually put an extra coat of poly on kitchen floor!! Excellent, professional company. Didnt really ship around, so not sure of cost, but was well worth what I paid.

Before moving into my new home in Manhattan last year i went through a major renovation. I have to say out of all the contractors i hired, Wood Vitalize was the easiest by far to work with. Everyone was professional and there was no mess at all. I was very worried about the shine as i wanted a matte sheen. Adam was patient the whole time and answered all of my questions. What a spectacular job! I hired Adam and Woodvitalize three years ago to buff the floors of our living room dustlessly when the kids were little and I hired him again last week to sand our bedroom floors. My wood floors were in terrible condition. They were really dirty, faded, and also had stains throughout. The last time i had my floors refinished was about 15 years ago. The wood was far past just a cleaning. After all said and done, they were able to restore my floors back and i didnt have to move all of my furniture out. The whole process was fast and seamless.

The floors are on their last legs but he was able to patch them up beautifully. It saved us the massive expense of fully replacing our floors. We are extremely grateful! Its been 3 years since Adam did our floors and they are holding up beautifully.

They did a wonderful job, I wish I took before pictures because its like night and day transformation. They finished in one day and the work totally updated the look of my home. Very pleased and they are nice people.

What excellent work! We needed the hardwood floors in our dining room refinished but couldnt deal with the head ache of regular sanding. Adam and his team did a WONDERFUL job finishing the floors of our apartment. We had a tight timeframe to make the project happen and he worked with us to make sure we were able to have beautiful floors AND move in on time. Definitely recommend them highly!

Adam worked with us from the beginning to deal with our unique situation. He was flexible when we asked for more than his original proposal (though it added a bit to the cost). To make sure that it could all be done in one day, he and crew arrived promptly, worked with the super in our building to meet his requirements, and worked hard all day. Were very happy with the results. The oldest parts of our floors look smooth and the color enriched. The one down side was that Adam can be hard to reach when working out the timing and asking additional questions. Hes responsive when you get him, but it takes some effort.

We are very pleased with the refinishing job Adam and crew did for us at our Madison Avenue retail store, Peress Lingerie.Very neat, absolutely no dust or sand - as advertised - got out all the grime, embedded debris, etc., as promised and delivered the space back to us right on schedule.I recommend them unconditionally.

We were researching options to improve our wood floors and needed an assessment. Adam responded to our inquiry the same day and scheduled a walk through that week. There were a handful of major scratches, one large area of uneven finish, and small less noticeable bumps throughout. Adam provided two options with fair pricing. The first was a one day light sanding and semi-gloss finish process to freshen the floors up and the second was a five day deep sanding with a semi-gloss finish process which would bring the floors back to new and perfect condition. His honest assessment was that the floors weren’t in bad shape overall, and that with the one day light sanding there would be a significant improvement. So, we scheduled the one day light sanding process to start a few days later. While he did caveat that the major scratches and bumps would still be there but just be less noticeable, we were pleasantly surprised that the large scratches weren’t noticeable at all when he was done, they appeared to be gone, actually. We were happy with the result and felt like we were in good hands with Adam, he is a true craftsman who cares about the end result.

Adam and his team did a fabulous job of refinishing our pre-war parquet floors and applying a beautiful new mahogany finish. His team really took the time to fix gaps and other issues in these old floors so that the finished product made our floor look literally brand new. Its so hard to find professionals who are dedicated to their work and fully fulfill on their promises - but Adam and the Wood Vitalize / Sandless Finish team deliver the goods. That I took the time to wright this reviews is the strongest endorsement I can make for their work and the value they deliver.

When I purchased my apartment, I was dismayed to find that the sellers real estate agent had managed to hide some fairly significant discolorations to the hardwood floor in the dining area, and that his movers managed to put some deep gashes in my hardwood floor when moving his staging furniture out. I reached out to a number of flooring companies, and right away I could tell that I liked the owner of this company, both in terms of his personality and the prices he was quoting. He kindly came out to inspect the unit, and gave a very fair assessment of what would need to be done. Unlike some of the other people I had talked to, who immediately tried to upsell me, Adam was very patient and understood that I had price constraints. He worked with me to figure out what would look best in the apartment, what would make me happy, and what would still fall within a reasonable price range. Adam has a lot of experience in this field, and has seen so many different apartments, that he is really able to tell what might work best in your space. I want to say that I could not be more pleased with the results. Adams price was far more reasonable than others had quoted, and the floors look like they cost a fortune! As an added bonus, I want to mention that he is an honest and kind person, and treats his crew kindly as well. It was obvious the people who work for him are very happy, and they were honestly so polite and such gentleman! It was a pleasure to work with somebody who is both talented, and has a lot of integrity. I strongly recommend using this company if you have any flooring needs.

Wow. Said simply: these guys are amazing. Adam and his team were beyond friendly and accommodating. From the second Adam came by to take a look at the space and provide a quote, I knew I was in good hands. Expert, professional and very very easy to deal with. My floors came out better than I could have ever imagined and Im thrilled with how my space was completely transformed.On top of all this, when all was said and done, my place was left unbelievably clean and pristine. These guys did excellent work! The wear and tear on our living room was pretty bad after having kids scamper over them for years. I found Sandless Finish online - the fast turnaround and the fact that they are kid-friendly were big draw-ins for me. The specialist who came to my house explained everything to me and when they were finished (that evening) everything came out as expected. The floors look great and I am very satisfied. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering getting their floors redone.

5-2016I just purchased my first home last month, a Tudor home pushing 90 years old. The floors though out needed total refinishing. I called a few local guys recommended by friends- no one returned my call. I usually dont internet shop, but I stumbled upon Sandless Finish.
