Extremely unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment with a provider. Three days prior, I attempted to confirm my SCHEDULED appointment. The office asked for insurance verification and then denied me as a new patient despite having me on their schedule. I was given no notice that the appointment was being canceled because no providers take my insurance. I wish I had known this prior to filling out new patient forms. Waste of time and energy.

Too much a hassle to even get an appointment. I went online and filled out the “new patient” form to book and appointment. No response. Sent an email and they responded without answering any questions regarding actual appointment dates, or insurance/ service cost information.For an “urgent” care clinic there is no urgency in this service. Struggling with mental health and finally reaching out is hard enough for mental health resources to make it even harder.

I wish I could give no stars or negative. These people are the worst. The most unprofessional office I’ve ever dealt with. I had a session with one of their medical professionals virtually over the quarantine she prescribed me a medication for ADD and I specifically asked clear as day multiple times if it had certain side effects and was told no. Fast forward a week or two when I started to experience said side effects I called and asked to speak to her about my negative side effects they said she’d get in touch with me she never did called two days later and same thing finally after I kept calling constantly and wouldn’t let up she called and denied ever stating that it didn’t have those specific side effects. I told them to cancel any future appointments and I’ll figure something else out. Then I get a bill for a $400. My copay through my insurance is $15 visits. I call to speak to their billing department and it goes right to voicemail every time over the course of a few days. I left multiple messages and never got a call back. So I called the office number instead and they said that they would have someone from the billing department call me. I had to do that 3 times before and threaten to call the better business bureau to actually get someone on the phone to straighten it out. They then sent me a $30 bill one for my initial session and another one for the session when i called to complain about the side effects and discontinue going there. They charged me for that. Also my friends wife said that she had the same exact experience with them not billing through her insurance and her having to chase these people down to get it straightened out. Now I just got an email that I have an outstanding balance of $30 or so. I strongly urge you to not trust these people with your health, mental health, and well being. And your medical insurance information. I usually am way to busy to stop and write a review but I hope I can stop people or at least someone from having to deal with these people.

I just started this new location 2 weeks ago and twice I mention I can only do early morning. Seem like Im getting emails with 2 different times and have to call back to fix the time and causing emotional distress already looks like Im gonna have to find another place to go they dont do one on one session and I really need my counseling. Mr. Lackey is a cool person.

They dont reach out to you if you are unable to reach them for whatever circumstances youre facing. They dont check on you to see if youre okay and instead they stop prescribing you medication without notice. Isnt stopping a patients prescription drugs abruptly illegal with or without notice? Because Im pretty sure it is either way. Neglectful and irresponsible. And the level of bureaucracy just to get any answers doesnt help. If anything, they need to modify their name because the name is misleading if not dishonest. Its most definitely a corporate company than mindful urgent care.

Its so wonderful to be able to have virtual visits either at home or at your place of work - its super convenient! The patient experience team is so wonderful, kind and take their jobs seriously. The physicians are easy to talk to and are ready to work with you from the beginning. Im really happy to have found mindful urgent care.

I called for a family member in crisis... and was completely surprised how easy and FAST I was able to get an appointment with appropriate Doctor!!!! Not only was the crisis was adverted, but within a few short minutes “of accessing “ their needs . A plan was also created between patient and Doctor that was super convenient and that could be easily followed. Medication was discussed and prescribed!! All on a video chat! I believe that they take almost ALL insurance...... I just can’t believe how easy it was to do! When usually the 1st appointment is usually weeks out before being seen. Or the run around of not taking new patients and/or insurance!!!!! THANK YOU FOR STREAMLINING this process... especially if you/they may not be able to wait weeks to be seen!!!! The give a 10 out of 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Receptionist reached back out almost immediately to schedule the follow up for 2 weeks. I not only recommend but will be going out of my way to share this with anyone/everyone!!! THANK YOU 🙏

Dr Nick is great and I would absolutely come back to him if I ever needed to in the future. However, the practice itself needs to work on its communication methods with their patients. Multiple times I have reached out, whether it be in regards to poor side effects or scheduling conflicts and it is always been a displeasing process.

I’ve been going to Mindful Urgent Care close to three months now. I was struggling through these difficult times. After having a virtual meeting with Dr. Nick I’m feeling much better in life. Dr Nick has helped me out so much and very easy to talk to. Thanks a lot. Nick.

I had high hopes for a good session because my therapist had recommended mindful urgent care to me. The session was not good at all - I explained my past medical issues and symptoms and it was VERY clear that she had not listened to anything I had said whatsoever because her recommendations did not line up. Will not follow up for a second session and am not planning to even pick my prescriptions up.

The whole experience of Mindful Urgent Care is cold, corporate, and uncaring. Getting in contact with anyone at the practice as a current patient is extremely difficult, though they send out no less than 4 of the same text and two emails on the day of your appointment to remind you. Its incredibly frustrating how opposite from their name Mindful Urgent Care is. Ive gone to them for about a year and a few months and the only reason I stay is insurance/ difficulty finding anything else, which is the terrifying reality of healthcare in this country. I waited an hour and a half from my appointment time the other day, staring at myself on video chat, and when I called they told me my appointment was marked as rescheduled... they hadnt even responded to the emails I sent while waiting asking what was up. its very clear that Mindful Urgent Care doesnt care for its clients well being and is focussed more on being a business than having empathy or reliability. Shoutout to Fallon who at least stayed on the phone with me while I muffled tears after being stood up at my appointment, trying to find me a new one. Total radio silence from anyone else though, let alone a much needed apology. This is how Mindful Urgent Care treats you in times of need.

Mindful Urgent Care changed my life for the better. Thank you for helping me become more open to change. I am so grateful.

I had worked with Michael for a while and was sad to see him move on to new opportunities. He is excellent.Very professional practice. You can tell they are very thoughtful and intentional on who they hire and most importantly that culture of active caring they create in their office with their staff and clients. Are always on time with me. Many other practices could learn from watching how they practice and do business.

Great therapists, warm, kind and understanding. Their scheduling department is very accommodating.

My doctor is awesome she makes me feel so comfortable and I feel she really listens to me.

The worst mental health facility. They are not they for they’re patients. They just wanna schedule appts so u have to pay. If u call for questions they make u schedule appointments. Even when u call and u have an emergency. Need info about your meds anything at all. It’s all about billing. My Dr there is great. Unfortunately she works for a company that’s disgusting

By recommendation of my doc I made an appointment using Mindful Urgent Care. It was simple and I got an appointment in less than a week. My assigned doctor was cool too.

Glad I went. They really know what they are doing.

My doctor or PA is always professional. They take the time to really help me.

I had been seeing the same doctor for 10 years and he had no ideas on how to treat me when the medication I was on no longer worked. In just a few visits Nick has largely resolved my very severe depression by changing my medication.

This practice is lame. Neglects their patients.

Not only were they 40 minutes late, they had specifically confirmed that they prescribe my medication before the visit, then informed me that they don’t actually do so after charging me. I will be filing a chargeback and never coming here again. It’s also in a very public coworking space, which is very uncomfortable.
