Great service quick washers and the dryer is hot and quick. Cost was a bit high I thought but we are in NYC! Washer was $6.00, dryer was. 25 and I used 1.00. Would recommend this place. I had someone with me that spoke Malay so he spoke to the owner! They loved speaking her language!!

Been coming here for a few months and it gets the job done. $4.50 for a small load, $7 for a large and 5 minutes per quarter drying is a little more than I paid in my old neighborhood but not egregious. My only suggestion/complaint is that its still just quarters and cash. My old laundromat used a reloadable card and that was much more convenient.Only had a couple times when it was so crowded I had to wait and the staff have always been helpful when I needed them.

I arrived at 8:30pm to wash my clothes, I got the wash in and put my clothes in the dryer at the exact time they finished. When I went back to pick my clothes up at 10pm aka the exact time I had set, they had CLOSED??? I can’t believe it, no warning that they were closing before the posted time. Now I have to wait till the morning to get my clothes that will definitely be wrinkled. Never using this place again, absolutely ridiculous.

Raised laundry prices recently ($4 wash to $4.50) and they have the world’s smallest washer loads to make you do multiple loads when it doesn’t need to be multiple.Wouldn’t recommend at all unless convenience is the only think you are looking for.

Whenever I go to this laundromat, during the afternoon times, there are always machines available and I always get in and out quickly. The reason for the 4 stars is the price, they charge 4.50 for the small washing machines and 7.00 for the larger ones and Ive seen prices elsewhere that were lower than that.

Clean bright spacious renovated place. New machines. Use quarters which you can exchange with dollar bills. * Machine covers where detergent goes are ***ALL MOLDY***. All laundromats have this problem. Please~ each person should remind the workers there to clean the underside of the covers weekly. They are all moldy. Defeats the purposes of washing your clothes when you are adding molds to your clients. I give a 5 star review because it is otherwise great place.

This would be the last visit. Today I had a very uncomfortable experience. The woman working here was folding her clothes. I asked to change the money as usual. She acted rudely, throwing money and an offended look as if she had interrupted her. And after changing the money, she threw the trash in the trash bin and acted radically. I feel very bad. I dont want to use this place again and will never come back.

The prices are fine and it’s clean but the workers are very rude. The temperature and ventilation is also ridiculous, I guess they don’t want people waiting around.

Never been treated so badly by lady employee that works there, totally disrespectful and rude. I ve been a regular customer for years and specified I wanted my laundry to be washed hot wash and add bleach with the whites, she always looks at me with nasty eyes and is dealing with anger issues. Some friends of mine had a similar issue with her. She is the only one there besides the manageress who is always very nice.May I add that she never seems to ever wash her hands or put hand sanitizer and always seems to be scratching her hair and is not very clean at all, considering the fact there is COVID-19 she doesn’t care! Shame on New Absolute Laundromat to employ the horrible woman. Avoid absolutely this place!! Will never return again

Wash $ 4 for each cycle up to 10 kgs, and dryer $ 0.25 for each 5 minutes.Detergent could be bought here for $ 2.50, could be used for 3-6 times.Open until 11.00 pm, very helpful for tourist stayed in hotels around this location.

I loved this Laundromat, clean, nice and helpful personal. Machines are pretty clean and new as well. You can wash a cycle for $4 or $6 per load. Two kind of machines there, and you can dry your clothes for $0.25 for 5 minutes

As an Austrian tourist, it was my first coin wash ever! Stuff was very friendly and helpful! Clean environment, fair pricing and enough sitting oportunities!

I dropped off three silk blouses to be dry cleaned. Two came back a disgusting shade of yellow-beige, and one of the employees spent twenty minutes demeaning me and telling me the shirts were dropped off that color. Horrific customer service and poor dry cleaning too.

Clean place. Both machines and mobiliary. Personnel not very warm but collaborative. Bathroom and soap/detergent dispenser were out-of-order by the time I was there. Wash cycle is $4; dryer is $0,25 per 6 min cycle. For a true laundromat it should run 24/7 but thats not a real issue. Gonna keep coming.

I was in nyc for 9 weeks for work, and after I found this place, I had the sweetest lady, named YUKY, do my laundry every week, sometimes twice a week until I left. I even went out of my way to drop it off to her. She does a great job, folding, and it is fast service! I was so happy not having to do my own laundry! Its a clean, spacious laundry mat is you do self service. A+

I stopped by while they said they were open and they were closed. Ill try back tomorrow after my shift to see if he can express my laundry again. Maybe he can. Maybe I can leave a good tip.

We just had the worst experience ever doing laundry here.Our blanket & towels in dryer#2 were stolen on Sep 3 around 3:30pm. We tried to talk to the staff, but they did not want to take responsibility. Then I said, Could you please give us the owners phone number? We would like to talk to the owner. Staff#1 said, we dont have owners. Staff#2 said,The owners are a man & a woman. We are related to the owners. Huh? How could you not have the owners phone number if you are related to the owner?My husband & I were really confused. I said, Clearly you dont want to help us. We will have to file a police report for this incident. Then the staff tried to persuade us not to go to the police by keep telling us this is not the first time it happened to them & other customers in the laundromat. If this is not the first time, would it be a regular pattern of stealing in this laundromat?At the end, my husband & I went to Precinct 17 to file for Petit Larceny. It happened to us. We dont want it to happen to anyone else.

They don’t let you dry clothes, you have to bring a load to wash AND dry. Makes zero sense, totally losing money because of that absurd rule.

As a tourist I have never had to use a laundromat before. Asking for a little bit of help seemed to offend the guy working here and just left me to figure it out on my own. Its a very convenient place but the staff were pretty rude. If you know what youre doing than Id recommend.

Plenty of a space with easy to use washers and dryers, even for a tourist like myself who had never been to a laundromat. The staff helped us with what we needed, but I wouldnt exactly say they were friendly, although I dont know if you can reasonably expect to be helped with a big smile at a place like this. Also they do your laundry for you for a reasonable price, but I personally didnt use that service.

Dry cleaning took a week longer than expected to get done and was lost at one point before I could finally get it back. Communication was not great and the laundromat did not answer the phone certain days. I won’t be returning and wish you the best of luck if you do, because you’ll need it

Brilliant! Were in NYC for three days and needed our clothes laundered. Free pick up and delivery from our hotel which is just a few blocks away means that we didnt have to sacrifice precious time sight seeing. Excellent service at very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I went to this laundromat faithfully almost every weekend. I put my money in old mans machine by accident. Instead of using the change they have to turn my machine on the old lady refused and wouldn’t allow me to speak to the owner. Never using this laundromat again after this. Anywhere else would have helped me. I basically paid 16$ for one load of laundry!

Do not go here for wash and fold!As a laundry service it was fine for a few time until I brought a load of laundry here and one of my nice shirts came back with a conspicuous rip on the front. Ive attempted to get a reimbursement for the shirt through calling management and going to the store to ask for the manager. At least twice they asked me for my number to call me back, and not once did I ever receive a call from the manager to discuss this.Additionally, they have told me multiple times when the manager will be present at the laundromat, and Ive been back there 3 times in the past 2 weeks during those hours. All of those times Ive received exactly the same response, which is usually the manager is here during these hours, but this time hes not. The only discussion Ive been able to have with the business is with an employee who claimed all of my clothes in the load would have a similar rip if their washers/driers caused it. They gave me absolutely no reason to expect any reimbursement or that theyd get in touch with me about this.Not to mention, I also had a pair of jeans shrink in the same load but didnt even get a chance to discuss that because I was too busy trying to get a refund for the rip.If any of your clothes shrink or get damaged while using their wash and fold service, dont expect to hear anything from them. Some of the worst customer service Ive ever dealt with from any business.

We arrived with a weeks worth of washing today and we are flying off tomorrow. wed gone into 4 other places before we found this one all told us same day service was not available and they didnt opening Sundays.We then found New Absolute Laundromat and we were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. We dropped our clothes off around 10:30am and we availed of their wash and fold service. It was advised that the clothes would be ready anytime after 5pm (they open to 11pm which is later than most others) we came back around 7pm the same guy not only greeted us with the same friendly nature but actually remembered us tooClothes were perfect dry, clean and smelling great and they were folded so well we could just stick them straight in our caseVery happy with the service and would recommend it to anyone !

A lot of washers and dryers, they have a money changer.They have a really nice girl worker, a great location, you can do laundry your self or leave it to them and they will do it for you.Bring your own Washing Powder because their machine is broken.

Just what you need when traveling lots of machines $3.25 per wash clean nice area. You can buy detergent, softeners etc for 75cents a packet which is suitable for one load. The dryers are large and cost 25 cents per load. All machines use quarters but there is also a change machine if you dont have enough coins. You can also drop your stuff and have it done for you if you want but not sure on the price of that service...we did our own.

Its a nice place. People are friendly. Laundry is fairly cheap, and there are many shops you can walk to to spend your time waiting.

Definitely recommend this establishment. All items neatly folded and vacuum packed after service wash. Could it be more convenient? Contrast with $3 to clean 1 pair of socks at the hotel. Two weeks travelling wash done for $15.

For other travelers not familiar with doing self service coin laundry in NYC - this place is perfect. Bring $1, $5 or $10 notes and theres a machine to exchange them for quarters. Its $4 for a wash and 25c for 6 minutes drying. Thats reasonable, cheap even. You can buy detergent, softener and tumble drying sheets for 75c per load. You can also buy 75c laundry bags for the walk back to your accommodation. Its open until 11pm, but you need to get your last wash on by 9.30pm. Staff were friendly when I was there March 2017

The hardest working laundry mat in NYC. Great hours (7-11!) for people with less time on their hands and the family is great once they get to know you!

I walked to deliver my laundry in the morning and was told that the laundry would be ready same day in the evening. Cool! Plus, I was worried that my laundry would get misplaced, so I offered to count the items. The staff assured me that each bag of laundry sent would be placed into a washing machine. So no lost items. Best part is there is free deliver within New York.

Love this laundromat!I have been coming to this laundromat for 4 months and have had very good experiences.They just recently raised their prices, but its not crazy. They have standard size machines that cost $4, large machines are $6, and they have 2 huge machines that cost $8.Dryers are 25 cents for 6 minutes.They also offer dry cleaning - its not done in house and I wouldnt recommend it. I had 4 items done there and they werent very well done.They do sell detergent, bleach, softener, etc for a very reasonable price. From their vending machine, 1 load of Tide powder is only 75 cents.The place can sometimes get packed, but even on weekends, you can always find available washers and dryers.They do not allow you to solely use the dryer- you must also use the washer.They also offer to do your laundry for you - 95 cents a pound.Quarters only - they have a machine that accepts up to $10. If you have a $20, just ask the cashier to give you 2 tens.Last wash is at 9:30 but they are open until 11pm.The reason I am giving them 5 stars, instead of 4, is because I once left 2 garment bags full of items I dont dry in one of their baskets. The next time I came, they found me and asked if they were mine. I was so happy! Most places would throw the items away, but they remembered and kept my items.

Owners have issue with keeping laundry mat at a comfortable temperature. Unsure if it’s stinginess or incompetence.

Be careful on this laundry.I put coins to dry my laundry, after that they told me that they do not allow dryer use only.They didnt give me back the coins even though they did not stop me, saying they are not allowed to give back the refund.Zero service mind.

Great service: 10lb of clothes washed, dried and folded in few hours for 12$. People ready to explain how it works : we went there to wash some clothes during our holidays.

Told us theyd do our washing and it would be ready to pick up at 6.30pm, came back at 6.30 on the dot and theyd closed already. To add insult to injury it was a public holiday the following day, dont believe a word they say.
