So wow!!! Was looking for a less crowded laundromat on a late Sunday and this came up on Google. Um... If you want your clothes coming out smelling with mildew then come here to wash your clothes. At $3.00 a load for the small washer I expect a little better wash then I got. The dryers are. 25 for 6 minutes but when I tried to stop the dryer and take out my shirts, it just kept spinning around and around. So the machines are dirty, oh and half of them have out of order signs. Never seen so many signs. They get one star for not being crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Now I know why.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Set an alarm to come back and get my stuff. Came in 1 minute after and the employee had already taken my stuff out of the dryer and threw it in a cart. Maybe you wouldn’t run out of washers and dryers if 60% of them didn’t have an out of order sign. Absolutely awful. The employees are rude as well.
All I do is pick up the phone in the morning before I leave for work and call Sy. That same evening, without fail, my laundry is delivered, perfectly washed and folded neatly. Ive been using EastSide since I moved to the neighborhood almost 2 years ago and they have NEVER lost anything! The service is prompt, friendly and excellent. I would highly recommend this laundromat.
Im not sure why I did not receive the same treatment as previous reviewers, but I recently moved into the neighborhood and upon my first visit (which is sure to be my last) I felt nothing but a hostile atmosphere in the air, which was provided by a man I assume was the owner. Between no spoken dialogue and more than a handful of very nasty glares, I felt as if I was doing something wrong simply by having a physical presence in his store. Laundry sucks enough, this isnt the environment you want to add on top. Regardless of if it is clean and slightly less expensive than other ones in the area, Ill happily pay the difference. Definitely NOT recommended.
Hi guys! Let me tell you what just happened to me. I went to this laundromat to ask how much they charge perLB and also to inform them that a dog had used the bathroom in front of his store. don’t you know he does act like he didn’t work there and then another customer came in waiting so he took the customer and he looked at me and he said there’s no bathroom no bathroom and I looked at him and I said I don’t even come here for a restroom. He rolledhis eyes and walked away for me..... I never experienced anything like that in my life!
THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!I would give 0 stars if I could.Rude people, overpriced service, clothes come back dirty and smelling. No understanding of what customer service is. No proper English speaking assistants. There is a place just two blocks away offering free pickup/delivery service and charging you only $1/pound, people there are nice and accommodating. I switched.
The people working here are extremely rude and difficult to communicate with. In addition, they never seem to actually be accepting dry cleaning drop offs. I dont even know if they are still doing dry cleaning at all.
WORST PEOPLE, NO SERVICE, RUDE, DIRTY PLACE,DO NOT GO THERE
Really dirty, old machines that smell of mold, and really expensive.
Worker took my number and tezted me on my private cell. If you are a female stay away.
Very clean, friendly atmosphere and excellent on-time service.Thank you
Over priced, ancient machines, “cash only” business which means you must use coins for all transactions, early closing hours, and driers ineffective. Avoid!
Very nice Asian lady at the counter gave me change to use the machines. The place is very clean and there are lots of machines to use.
#1 service
