My last visit was March 2020 at the W37 Street location. First time visit to E 44th Street. Further away from job but glad they were open and providing services. Felt safe for they are still taking temperatures and employees are wearing mask.

Definitely wont be seeing her again. To top it off, I paid for full laser face treatment and she felt that doing the forehead wasnt necessary.

Management is HORRIBLE cant get a return call or response. Moved out of state and now no one in the management team can respond back to how I can process a refund. Every time I call they dont answer or give me some excuse. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PUCHASE ANY PACKAGES UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU ARE STAYING IN THE LOCATION YOU PURCHASED.

Li was amazing from the first moment I met her in the reception area. She was so helpful and considerate of my comfort level during the entire experience. I was able to relax and really turn my mind off to enjoy the soft warm ambiance that Skin Spa provides. The best part about the massage was at the end Li went over the locations that had the most tension so I was aware and know where to focus on in my next massage to receive the best results. Li was a true professional but also so warm and friendly! I definitely plan to come back and see her for another massage at Skin Spa New York- Midtown.

Always a great experience and both massage therapists as well as the people manning the front desk are professional. They always ensure you feel comfortable and you are in control. Devin was great for my deep tissue massage. I had a lot of pain and he helped and even gave me good advice to lessen the pain day to day. It’s clean and always a pleasant experience.

Ever since my first visit from a Groupon I bought for my birthday, I have been coming here. Ive gotten facials, microdermbrasion and microneedling. Ive even purchased their face wash, and exfoliator that has lasted a very long time, as well as a jade roller. My skin has never looked this good at age 30. Highly recommend Kyedi! Johan is especially sweet at the front and helps you with any questions before or after your services. Im so glad I found a home for my skincare needs !!

Ive been coming to Skin Spa Midtown for a little over a year now. The massage services (Swedish & Deep Tissue) are absolutely amazing. Incredibly relaxing and the Massage Therapists really tailor their focus to exactly what you are looking for - whether it be relaxation or working out some extra tension in muscles. I always leave feeling refreshed and can not recommend this Spa more to anyone looking for services in Manhattan.

I’ve been getting facials for 10yrs and this was by far the worst with lazy esthetician’s and rude manger. I don’t recommend.

I have been having terrible shoulder and calf muscle pain from gym injuries and stress tension so I went in for a deep tissue massage. Ernesto really helped ease the pain. I was finally able to sleep solidly and continue my workouts. The front desk staff is lovely and very helpful. Ill definitely be back.

I found this place on Groupon and I bought a package of 3 choice of facials, microdermabrasions or power peels for 117$. When I booked my appointment I was asked my credit card info in case I wouldnt show up.The location in pretty convenient and easy to get to, its near Bryant Park. The place is nice and clean. Once arrived I waited few minutes and I was welcomed by my technician, Paulina. She was really nice and I enjoyed my facial with her, she was very accurate and made me feel at my ease. She has a soft touch..not only I enjoyed the facial, but also the small massage she gave on my shoulder/neck. I would ask for her if you come here for a facial.At the end of the facial I paid the taxes for the all package (8-7$) and left a tip. Ill try their other services next time and update my review, but for now...this place is a great deal :)

I have had massages only three places till date. This place has been the best experience. I do not recall who did my massages but the person was awesome. I told him about my right shoulder issue and he attended to to with care and right pressure. The pressure was about right for all the parts. He also made great small talk. I changed my job and apartment else I was very tempted to buy pacakage of massages for this location. I would recommend the place for massages.

I had the pleasure of having my first laser genesis treatment at Skin Spa Midtown with Kelly. From the moment I walked in, I got a great vibe from her. She was very warm, friendly and easy to talk to. She was very knowledgeable about the process and answered all of my questions. I felt completely at ease in her hands. I ended up buying a package of treatments and look forward to returning to Kelly for my future skin care needs.

I like this spa because they always find a way to squeeze me in even when it’s last minute. They usual have great packages - I bought a facial package of six visits for $300. I also like that it’s next to Grand Central Station.

Every time I call they are “fully booked”, regardless of the day or time. They make no effort to see if I would like to come in for another day or offer to call if someone cancels. They use to have a great esthetician named Anna but since she has left the service has not been the same. The other staff members put in little to no effort to show great customer service. In addition, the manager is extremely rude to the point that I don’t bother speaking with him. I use to come in every three weeks but now I would suggest anyone thinking of going to this location to go elsewhere.

I just finished a series of 6 sessions of the Forma Plus on my knees. Looking at my before/after photos I can definitely see a marked improvement in the skin tone. I Am so pleased with the result!

My friend had given me a gift certificate for my birthday to the spa. My experience was truly wonderful. Like a spa should, it had a calm and relaxing environment. I cannot remember her name, but the lady who did my peel was really sweet and pleasant to talk to. I definitely plan on going there again.

Called me a terrible client but swears he “takes his service very seriously.” I enjoyed coming to this location because it was very convenient for me. But I’m more than happy to “use my package at another location” as suggested by the staff there and you should too.

I purchased a discounted package for two 50 min massages. This is the first time I ever had a massage and Zena made me feel comfortable and well relaxed. I liked it so much I bought another package. Im not sure why everyone complains about the receptionist I never witnessed them being rude to anyone.

I come here for the Swedish massages and theyre always amazing. My therapist always asks particulars to make my experience unique and I really appreciate that. Everyone is very professional and it definitely feels like a well rounded experience.

This Thursday was my second 5 star experience at Skin Spa Midtown on East 44th St. I walked in and was blessed to be fit in for a facial cancellation. Soria was my esthetician and I am overjoyed about my treatment. My face was completely pampered and my mind was soothed. Her technique is amazing and I felt like we were old friends. She is an inspiration! I am already following her advice in other areas to further improve my skin and overall health. She listened to what I needed and helped guide me to the right mindset and results. I already do so much to help my skin but Sorias advice will help me take it to a higher level. She also recommended a new skin and sleep supplement duo that I am impressed with so far. She picked up on my trouble sleeping and made this suggestion to help. In just 3 days I am happy to report I have slept longer and better than most nights of my adult life. Imagine if that was the missing link for me. I had 6 laser treatments on my full legs with Silviya and she was absolutely wonderful! I have noticed tremendous results with a probable hair loss of about 70% of hair! Very disappointed!!1st off l was offered the wrong treatment which l paid for then was referred to the location in midtown.2nd the consultant recommend the wrong treatment again then another consultant came in and recommended fractora which ended up costing double however, l was happy to pay to get the results l was looking for.Finally on the day of the treatment numbing was not effective and everything was rushed as they were double booked and l feel like the treatment did not cover all the areas needed.

I had the deep-tissue massage and it was absolutely fantastic. The knots in my back were worked through and I felt very relaxed afterwards. The music is very calming and the oils used are soothing and relax your muscles. Definitely going back!

I have been a patron of Skin Spas services for the better part of 3 years and can only give them my highest and glowing praise. Since the begining, I have had various treatments by several of the well-trained and skilled staff members across a few Skin Spa locations. While every experence has been very positive, I most qualified to speak about their effectiveness and skill for Laser Hair Removal in Midtown. I find the Midtown Spa is worth traveling across the city to get there. The staff goes out of their way to help to make the zapps of the laser mundane, and shaving a thing of the past. I could call out my favorite laser technican, but its senseless- their roster is stacked with skilled people.

Terrible. Dont book with a voucher or prepay for an appointment. They will come up with every excuse to not let you book a time. At first their system was down and then they dont allow vouchers on weekends. Tried all scenarios. Nothing worked. Scheme artists at its finest. Dont recommend.

Found this spa on Groupon for a 50-minute Swedish massage. Jaime was my masseuse and he was wonderful! I get Swedish massages often, and I always opt for the lightest pressure, for a more relaxing experience rather than a hard pressure, full body work out. Almost every time I ask for light pressure, I am given medium/hard. Jaime actually understood what I meant by light pressure which was refreshing and exactly what I wanted out of the experience. Front desk is great, waiting room vibe is nice and modern, rooms are clean! Will 100% be going back. And the massage oil smells amazing, I went out and bought a bottle for myself right after. Thank you SkinSpa!

I was initially skeptical about LHR treatments being that I had a very bad reaction many years ago, but thanks to Kelly and the team at Skin Spa, all my fears have vanished and now I’m left with silky smooth, hair free legs and arms. Very happy with my experience here. I normally go to the Murray Hill location, which is also lovely, however they could not get me in for a late appointment this week. I️ was able to book last minute in this location and it ended up being even more convenient to get to from work! Yay! I️ tried Greta, she was wonderful, funny and informative and andrew was really helpful getting an appointment scheduled for me. I️ love my tech at Murray Hill but I️ will probably go between both locations now, dependent on availability.

I came here with my mom for their facial deal of $39. The spa is very clean and minimalist. My girl is Monica and she is very gentle and my treatment is painless and really relaxing. The only con is that the noise cancellation between walls are pretty bad so I could tell other peoples conversation.Other than that, I am very happy with the treatment and service. I am going to book another one soon!

Apparently now under new management who have changed all the pricing without any notice to long standing customers. Even if you booked your service under the old pricing structure. Its now a ripoff. Go see a dermo or plastic - they have better services. Youll go once for something these guys take 6 sessions to deliver.

I like all the Skin Spa locations. I really recommend their Sunless Spray Tans (the. best.), Microdermabrasion (I was hesitant but my esthetician told me it feels just like a cats tongue and it completely does! the results are incredible), laser hair removal (sessions are so quick, you can be in and out in 15 minutes!) and, of course, massages. The staff will really work with you with scheduling and have great deals!

I always participate in spa week in April and October. Its great to get spa deals for $50 especially for massages and facials. On this day, I went to Skin Spa. The location was big and spacious. There was plenty of refreshments at the entrance. I recieved a Himalayan Salt Hot Stone Massage by Li. It was phenomenal !!! The mood and atmosphere was perfect. The massage was great. At the end she stretch out my thigh muscles which was a great personal touch !!! :) Next, I was supposed to receive a oxytrio facial. In the past, my facials have lasted 50 minutes with the spa week treatment. This facial lasted 20 minutes. I was very disappointed that the service costed $50 for 20 minute service. The aesthetician was nice and personable but it just seem too quick for $50 and seemed like she wanted to go get her lunch. The check out service was abysmal. The guy was rude and didnt seem like he wanted to serve me at all and seem like he didnt know prices of treatments or barely wanted to provide me envelopes to tip the ladies. The whole check out process was annoying. Overall it wasnt the best spa week experience I had.
