The technicians are incredibly knowledgeable and give you adequate information regarding preparation and aftercare. 3 weeks ago I came to this gem for my first session of Laser hair removal on my underarms. I was in and out in 15 minutes (a plus!). My technician Irina was very knowledgeable, sweet and efficient. The young lady Chelsea at the front desk was extremely helpful with getting me signed in on the ipad. Not only is this place clean, but everyone in it is lovely and kind. I already recommended this place to several friends. :)

I got my Brazilian, under arms, legs, etc. done here for a long time now I’m still their customer and will keep it that way they provide thoroughly hair removal sessions I’m impressed my hair didn’t grow anymore

Satori laser has changed my life! I began my laser hair removal journey back in 2016 with them and I’m happy I did. My target areas at the moment are my underarms, lower face and upper neck. I’m so glad that I don’t have to shave anymore since my hair is very thin and much less now. The only time I do is at my appointments and that’s because your skin must be shaved before the laser. Luckily my technician, Irina does it for me and she is great! I highly recommended her. Also, the staff at this location are super nice and have great customer service. I can’t wait to start lasering other areas soon.

Very clean and professional, everyone there has great manners. Upon arrival I was greeted with a warm smile and instructions from Destiny at the front desk. The consultation was very informative. Irina explained everything thoroughly and made sure there was a clear understanding. She was very patient as I asked all the questions I had. After that we started the upper lip treatment and it was quick and painless! She coached me through the whole thing and gave me aftercare instructions. My second treatment was done by Meghan and it was as simple and quick as the first treatment. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend this Satori location 100%, you won’t be disappointed!

My technician Irina was beyond amazing! She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and walked me through everything prior to and post treatment. I was nervous at first in terms of it being painful, but Irina reassured me that if you have waxed in the past the process won’t be that painful, she was so right! I did a Brazilian and underarm treatment and there were only about two times when it bothered me a little around sensitive areas but the rest of the process was painless. I am beyond happy that I chose this company. It’s in a great location and the facility is very clean and keeps up with COVID guidelines. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! Will be coming back for all my sessions and treating future areas here as well, 10/10!

I started session last year only underarms, after seen such amazing results I was like.. I better do my whole body! Then quarantine happened, after reopening I didn’t take the chance and bought sessions for all my body parts. Even though quarantine, summer sun tan happened and I wasn’t able to take sessions as needed, results were there! I bought a Groupon package for 3 sessions of laser. When it came to using my last session I had to reschedule because of being in the hospital and needed time forRecovery. Now that it is June and decided fo book my last session they suggested due to it being the warm months and get sun exposure even from walking they suggest coming back in September. I explained I am moving out of state. Upsetting I cannot use my last session and they couldn’t accommodate me for something else. Regardless if I bought a coupon I feel sometimes You should try to work with the customer in order to fulfill the needs. Could have offered a prorated refund or maybe one session on a similar area with no sun exposure. Anything would be nice. Satori Laser has been nothing but amazing! i have been going to them for a while now. Before I started going to them I have had issues with ingrown hairs constantly, but that has changed for the better since I started treatments. I also had huge fears trying it at first because of of the horror stories I’ve heard with laser and dark pigmented/ African American skin BUT everyone there assured me that the type of laser they have (I believe its YAG) is safe for my skin tone/type and I should not have any issues. So far skin has been smooth and soft, little to no hair growing back and absolutely no hyperpigmentation. Love them! I go to Marisa or Kate personally they are both amazing but everyone there is awesome!

Hands down, the place in the city to get laser hair removal. Not too expensive prices for New York, very clean and hygienic offices, and the staff is so welcoming and professional. I was also the one who after my experience in location and where to customer stood up for me in my defense based on them also seeing how much they were trying to bully me and bamboozle me I had told them before leaving that I don’t want any contact and that would be considered harassment. After that they continuously contacted me on a recorded line on my end and they kept trying to force I me too help them reverse their reaction that they had in store. I kept telling them to stop calling me and if they continue to call me that I would be taking further action against them. They still sent me an email after I terminated services with them and they continued to write this post despite me on five occasions saying I do not ever want to be contacted by them. They also are claiming that I did not wear a mask out of malicious intent. I actually had surgery on my nose and I had an infection and that was something in the prior two visits to them that I had said and they had no problemWith me not wearing a mask. In fact I had asked them and explain the situation and they were saying that I did not have to wear a mask for that reason. The only time they started enforcing a mask policy was when I had called them out on false advertisement as well as fraud as well as poor customer service. And at that point went to other customers came to my defense the girl picked up a box of masks and try to force me to wear a mask even though they had previously said that I don’t have to wear a mask. If you are being bamboozled and being treated Unprofessionally with poor customer service and really bad attitude you’re going to become frustrated you’re going to let the person know to try it and we navigate course and that’s what I did. I have no apologies for it. And it’s time that Citori laser actually take ownership and responsibility and accountability for their actions. For this reason I again strongly discourage anyone from purchasing services from Satori laser now or ever.I also think that based on the response that they give that when people come out and speak the truth about them in a desperate effort to maintain a five star or more than 4.8 star rating they try to really bully you and bamboozle you again into a corner so you can remove your reviews and they can make you look like the problem and they can make you look like you’re bullying them when in fact it’s the complete other way around. I highly recommend this Satori lazer location. Ive been going to Satori Lazer for a long time and I have never had a bad experience. As a transwoman services that involve someone else working on your body can feel very fraught and you never know how youll be treated, but everyone at Satori has always treated me with respect and understanding. Ive never been misgendered or anything like that.As for the hair removal, its about as painful as youd expect but the technicians always make you as comfortable as possible and they always prepare you for those areas that can be extra painful, like the upper lip. Ive been treated by a number of different technicians there, most often Samarra, they always pay close attention to what youre going for in terms of results and theyre all as fast as they are meticulous.When it comes to cost the prices are incredibly reasonable considering the high quality of care youll receive. Ideally you should purchase your treatments as packages of 3-6 treatments because its a better deal than doing a one off treatment and the way lazer hair removal works youll need to do about 6 treatments to really make the hair permanently gone. It may seem like a big cost upfront but if you compare it to other lazer hair removal places or against other forms of hair removal like electrolysis and game out the cost long term youll find you cant do better. Plus you get what you pay for and you dont want someone who doesnt know what theyre doing.The areas Ive been treating, beard and chest, are at the point now where they only need the occasional spot treatment and Im so happy with the results. I went from having to shave my chest and beard everyday, suffering through constant shaving irritation to only having to shave when Im about a week out from the next appointment and when I do shave its a hair here, a hair there, I could count them on one hand. Those areas were my greatest source of dysphoria and the work Satori has done has provided great relief.My advice to anyone starting lazer hair removal: Take some advil before your appointment, buy some aloe, and, most importantly, follow Satoris before/after care instructions to the letter.

I LOVE Satori Laser ! So far I have had 2 sessions done on my underarms, and 1 session on my upper lip. Being a Latina, my hair is VERY dark and thick. Looking into hair removal options I saw that Satori had great reviews. I tried it, and now I’m obsessed! Satori is by far very affordable compared to other places, yet they spare no expense to make sure that there lobby and private rooms are very clean and modern! Even the bathrooms are nice LOL. Not to mention there friendly and inviting staff. I left Satori with smooth skin and seen results fast! With consistent sessions you will be hairless in no time. Cant wait to finish up my sessions on my underarms, I have already seen a major difference. My hairs grow back very thin and very slow. I shave once MAYBE twice between the 6 week sessions! That’s a lot less than what I was doing before. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Satori since February of 2019. I started off with my underarms because I was really unhappy with how thick my hair was and the shadow I had even after shaving. I would say I started seeing a difference after the 3rd session. After A few months I decided to do my bikini area as well and the results were almost instant. I seen a few techs there and they were all very friendly and made my experiences enjoyable considering the circumstances. I also had the pleasure of meeting Michelle, the manager, who is the sweetest person ever. I had a concern about how my skin was reacting to the laser and she addressed everything, she even examined me herself and followed up with me to make sure everything was alright. I love this place and will continue to go back!!

I was nervous, but decided to try it out after a close friend singing the praises of lasering (and noting that Satori was her favorite / most professional of all the NYC laser places). She was right -- the facility is very clean, and everyone from reception to the technicians is very friendly. The technicians have great bedside manner, and always check to make sure you are doing okay during the (quick) procedure! The booking process is also very easy, and there are many times available. I initially signed up for one small area, but noticed results within 3 sessions!

I have had great experiences here every time. Their service is quick, clean and professional. The results have also been amazing as they use a high end laser unit. The staff that have helped me have always been friendly and informative with me. I find that they also work quickly yet effectively as to reduce the amount of time spent in pain! This is great. I do wish that they did email appointment reminders as I always lose track of my appointment. They do give you a call a day in advance .

I’ve been coming here for multiple months now and if you’re thinking about laser hair treatment here: do it. You won’t regret it. After 3/6 treatments, I actually don’t have to shave anymore.Big tip though: buy a numbing cream and apply it one hour before the session. This brought the pain WAY down for me. I actually didn’t feel much at my last bikini laser thanks to the numbing cream. Thank me later!

Came here one evening and got my laser done. Super fast in and out. Tech was lovely gentle and fast. Would return for laser hair removal. They do have other services as well.

I went to Satori for a year and was going for sessions for my neck, underarm and upper lip. I did 9 sessions for underarm arm and upper lip and at least 12 for my neck (it might have been 15). The moment I finished the sessions all the hair grew back. Its been two months now since my last session and its 100% fully grown hair. The staff was friendly, but that is not a good reason to come here. I went and discussed these results with another individual and was told all the settings they used on me were not correct, given my skin tone and hair type. If you go here, make sure to do your research and be aware if they are using the correct settings.

I had such a great experience with Satori Laser! I had laser treatments for my underarms and upper lip for a few sessions already. I saw a great difference even after the first session. The were really nice and was very understanding when I was running late for one of the session. I didnt have to reschedule. This company refused to perform hair removal services on me. I have had successful sessions elsewhere and chose this location after moving. I knew which settings would result in effective hair removal on my body and shared this with them. They wanted to use the lowest possible settings EVERY time, resulting in ineffective hair removal and a waste of time, discomfort, and money. I would not choose this company as they are not experienced enough to tailor their client settings to the clients needs, especially those of color.

I absolutely love it here! The staff here are very friendly. The process here is quick and easy, I am out of here in less than 10 minutes. My hair literally does not grow back until a month and a half, (but remember everyone is different!). Melissa is the one who does my treatment and I always enjoy her vibes. Extremely pleased with my visits to Satori and would give them a 6-star rating if possible! I was very skeptical about laser treatments prior to coming to Satori (either concerned about being burned or just lack of results) but they have by far exceeded my expectations. The place itself is very clean and professional. The staff is helpful and the three technicians I have worked with were extremely informative.I purchased a package of underarm treatments and a package of Brazilian treatments. I saw results from my underarm treatment after my first appointment and have only had to have a few follow up sessions to maintain my results. The Brazilian took a few more treatments to see full results, however this was to be expected as hair removal in that area is harder. I am very fair skinned and have dark hair, so Satori has been LIFE CHANGING!

I started laser hair removal around the summer. The staff is friendly and they know what they are doing and talking about. I did read a review about a customer who said they told her to buy a full body package for x amount of money I can sincerely say that they do not! try to force you to buy any packages they will inform you that they have them but wont try to push you to buy anything and they do not sell full body packages. They often have specials like underarm and chin or something like that but for the most part it is by section. I cannot say that it does not hurt because I have a very high pain tolerance it does feel like a rubber band snapping your skin though. I have noticed remarkable results on my first package, the hair has grown in thinner and slower and I know the hair will eventually stop growing. However, you do have to get touch-ups after the growth has stopped I have not asked how often or when you should start though. If you are looking into Laser Hair Removal this is a good place to start, I love when the hair starts falling out because it means it is working. The people who work here are extremely friendly! Its never been a long wait time for me and the session is usually pretty quick. Theyre great about answering any questions you may have during your consultation session and the following sessions after that. Theyre also pretty good about reminding you about your upcoming appointments via phone or text. I would highly recommend this place to anyone whos sick of waxing. The results are pretty fantastic, although you may have to wait a few sessions before seeing significant results

Satori Laser is the TRUTH. Being that I have pcos its been a nightmare living with hairy problem areas. NOT ANYMORE! After 2 treatments at Satori Laser my face feels flawless. Couldnt be happier with my experience at Satori. I bought a Groupon for 6 sessions for a small area after spending some time deciding whether this was a good method for me. I am so glad that I did!Satori makes the process quite seamless, always asking questions prior to each session. I began in the summer so I still had a bit of a leftover tan, but they were careful to avoid those areas until it was completely safe. They explained to me during each visit how the hair growth may change, lessen, differ over time. I really felt secure in what they were doing and the results couldnt be better.The combination of reasonable price point, friendly staff and superb results definitely give me reason to return for another area.

I’ve done four underarm sessions here so far and the results are what I had hoped for! I have very few hairs growing now and the ones that do grow back are much lighter.I’ve had laser done elsewhere before, and what’s different about Satori is that their laser doesn’t require them touching the equipment to your skin, which makes it more hygienic.I believe they use the YAG laser, which works well for most skin types, including darker skin.Very clean place, quick service, speedy process

Love Satori laser! I have been coming here for a few years and had my bikini line done as well as my upper lip. They are always professional, efficient, and fast. The location is easy to get to by Union Square and is clean. The girls behind the front desk and the laser technicians are super nice and are very helpful with any questions you may have. Sometimes I have a different technician depending on the day and time I make my appointment for but it doesnt really matter - they are all great. They also always run promos so you get a deal!

Great Result! Great value! Recommended to a couple of my friends already. I just finished my 6 sessions package on full legs. Only a minimal amount of hair growing after 2 sessions for me. Their prices are fair compared to other chain brand or small clinnic. The machines are new, so pain level is very acceptable. The session is quick, usually done in less than 30 mins. I am planning to go back for some other areas!

My laser hair experience was so much better than expected! The staff was patient, answered all my questions and my treatment had minimal pain. If anything it’s a walk in the park compared to a wax. I would highly recommend!
