I’ve been getting laser hair removal at Bared Monkey for almost a year now, and my experience has been amazing. I started my laser journey almost 2 years ago with another very well known laser company and when I came to Bared Monkey I immediately noticed a huge from my first appointment. I had a consultation where the technician explained the different types of lasers they offer and the recommended sessions for each area. The machines at Bared Monkey are much stronger than the machines from the previous place I went to, and I noticed much faster results on each area. The facility is so clean, and the entire staff is very professional and friendly. They offer great package deals, and make scheduling appointments so easy. I’m Hispanic with a medium tan skin completion and dark/thick hair, and the lasers have worked amazing for me with no bad side effects. If you’re considering laser look no further than Bared Monkey, you won’t regret it!

This place is very clean and professional. It’s easy to schedule appointment although you have to do it via email or text, no calling but they answer really quickly. My technician is Ting and she does my laser very well and thoroughly. This isn’t my first time getting laser hair removal but at this place, the machine they use, I am seeing greater results and less hair. I will get more sessions from them in the future. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!I was hesitant about laser hair removal at first but all of the great reviews swayed me. I purchased 6 sessions through their Groupon and got all 6 sessions for around $135 - total! The staff was very friendly, professional, and organized. I chose to do my bikini line and I was in and out in 5 minutes! Note: at your first session the technician will go over all of the safety info. but the laser treatment itself only took 5 minutes. It was not painful at all, I would give it a 1.5 out of 5 for pain because you do feel a little pinch. You will wait 6 weeks between sessions. I’ve had 1 session and have already noticed a HUGE difference, there is hardly any hair growing back and I haven’t shaved since my first session 4 weeks ago. I 100% recommend coming here and taking the plunge on laser hair removal if you are contemplating it!

Ok so many of my friends had a Brazilian with Ella and all, ALL had seen barely any hair after 6 sessions. I’m here on my 15th session with Ting and I am certain i have freakin 15 more to go. I’m not sure what took me so long to write this review, but Bared Monkey is literally the best investment I’ve ever made. I believe I started going to them back in 2017 and every single time I go it really is a 5 star experience. Every single tech is helpful, knowledgeable and gentle. Everyone who works at the front desk is patient and understanding. They all go above and beyond. The prices are far better than most places and the laser hair treatment always leaves me feeling like a new person! Highly recommend Bared Monkey. I have been coming here for about 2 years and have been very happy with results! Results are awesome for all locations and I have remained hair free with just touchups needed from time to time. Just to clarify - it is Laser hair Reduction.. Not a complete removal.The place is clean and polite. They have a few rooms with different type of lasers, which means you get a specific machine that is good for you, your type of hair, skin color, and so on. It is not one fits all - which is amazing. Just as the lasers vary in its type, so does the pain. In the beginning I got the machine that was not that painful, but as I saw minimal results and notified the workers - I got a different machine that hurts a lot, but I definitely see better results. I bought a membership, I bought one package for x-large areas, and now am buying single sessions. The hair is reduced decently. Also, the less hair you have, the less it hurts; which means that with each session it hurts less and less. I do see the results, but 6 sessions is simply not enough for a guy. One things to mention is that if you are determined to reduce your hair - buy a membership to the spa: it costs, but depending on how many times you will go there - will save you money.

I went for my first laser appt yesterday. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The studio is very clean. They are also extremely affordable. I bought a package of 6 for my lower face, cheeks, and full legs. I will update this review as time progresses about the reduction of hair growth- so far so good!

I’ve been going here since January and this location is super clean and everyone is kind, respectful and friendly. So far I’ve seen LC and Kathy and both were very gentle and kind as worked on me. I got the Brazilian package from Groupon. Yet, their prices without the Groupon are reasonable.The machine they use is more high tech and upgraded than other locations I’ve visited. This is literally the best session I’ve experienced because the hair faintly grew back by the 4th session. I’m Black and I must say this is really the best option for me because they consider black and brown skin, not many locations understand that we need a higher grade when performing laser treatment.I would use this location for other body parts.I would recommend 8 to 10 sessions for lasting results.

Ella is good...but only if you are getting one or two areas of treatment. Anything more than two, she will not do properly and rush through it. I feel like i wasted my money with her. I thought she was good when i started a year ago with just two areas. As i added more, i Noticed she rushed and missed a lot of places to laser Even in the previous(beginning) Areas that she used to laser. For instance, my legs she used to laser well, then as i added more stuff, she missed a lot of places on my legs and did not laser there. New areas she did the same thing with. So, she is good for one or two areas, but don’t book more than that with her. I feel ashamed at my money wasted. The facility should tell her thank o take her time with the treatments. After all, we are paying you guys..its not a free treatment

Bought a Groupon for six sessions for my underarms and had my final session today. I am very satisfied with the service and results. I had a different technician each time and Kiki did my arms today. All of them are professional, friendly, and answers any questions you have. Im in and out of the place in 15 mins or less. Each time I go, the hairs grow less and thinner. I will probably need another two sessions since I have thick black hairs. Will definitely go here for other parts!

I have been coming here for about 3 years now. I have down full arms, Brazilian and full legs with them. If there were 10 stars, I would give it! I see Ella. She is my go to tech. She is amazing, detail oriented and extremely thorough. I would not see anyone else (The other techs are great too) but she is the only person I see. She makes you feel comfortable, explains everything and always checks in. The results have been amazing. I have had almost no hair grow back in all areas. I highly recommend them. Good service, attentive. I got a Groupon for underarm laser hair removal for a great price. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because one time I had to wait 20 min or so for my appointment because another patient answered to my name (?) – bit of a weird situation, seems they could have double checked. Otherwise it’s been positive.

I looked for several places to get my laser in the city and after a lot of research I selected bared monkey. The laser technology they use is great and painless. All the consultants are great too and make it a very comfortable experience. I have been going here since almost a year and I can definitely vouch for it. I had Elsie for my underarm laser hair removal. I came 15 minutes early and they said it was fine and got me in the room. Elsie was so sweet, informative, and understanding. She told me that it was smart for me to get the 6 treatment than 3 because not only does it reduce the chances of regrowth but if all my hair is gone by week 4, I can come by anytime to makeup the 2.Since it was my first time I thought the laser would hurt. She explained the process as she put the cooling gel on the area. When she was testing the laser she asked my if I felt something and I said no. She was honest and said that I would start feeling the laser heat up at some point but it would go away within a few seconds. I was glad she told me ahead of time because I had no idea what to expect. The whole process was peaceful and quick.After it ended she gave me a brochure on the after care. Most important thing was after two weeks, I had to gently exfoliate the area twice so it helps the shedding process. When I exfoliated, the hairs were coming out and I was really surprised that after one treatment, it was this effective ( I have dark hair with medium skin tone.)I recommend going here because they have great sales on groupon and their service is greatEdit:I finished my 6 sessions and like to say that all the technicians that work here have been very pleasant. Ella was my last technician and informed that if after these sessions the hair grow to an extent, you can get a touch up session.

No wait time, they thoroughly educate you on the treatment, inexpensive and super fast service! I was really nervous about it being painful but, it wasnt nearly as bad as u thought it would be. Excellent customer service, their services are very affordable and Ive had amazing results. I have thick, curly 4c African American hair and the treatment here was strong enough to get rid of at least 95% of it. I highly recommend them.

I have been here for laser hair removal for several months now. Kiki is the best technician. She is nice and operates very carefully, but quick at the same time. She explains well whenever i ask. I like Kiki because she seems that she cares about my skin condition and my desire the most.I had once with an older technician here, and I didn’t like her because she just talked about their packages when I asked about a machine, and her intention was only sales.

I went to have my armpit treated, I’m skin type III with dark black hair. The technician suggest me to buy the 6 session’s package instead of 8 session’s package because in my case, 6 sessions are quite enough for me to see the desired result and since they will provide 1 year follow up sessions so I don’t need to worry about it. I really appreciate their honesty and their professionalism. My treatments are fast and easy. I already see the remarkable difference after the 3 sessions. Highly recommended!!
