Im not sure this company is still in business. I attempted to file a complaint with the NY CPS after they charged me over $1k (without authorization or notice) for a ride I didnt receive, and NY CPS notified me that their address wasnt valid and the email is broken.This is probably for the best, as their customer service is atrocious. I attempted to book their services for an agreed-upon price, and then the day before the service they charged me an extra 40% without letting me know - I only found out when I checked my credit card statement. I then spoke to the dispatcher who was actually supplying the ride and he told me that there was a $300 mark-up on the rider that this company was taking for absolutely no reason.Bottom line - took over $1k from me, I spent 6 weeks trying to get the money back, and even the New York Consumer Protection Service cant get hold of them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A company where you feel that you are treated like an individual--I use them for getting my father to appointments and recently, for myself (for extra safety from COVID). Friendly and incredibly helpful, if the phone wasnt answered immediately, I received a call back in under a minute. Would that all service-based companies treated customers this way. Drivers are all professional. They also send texts on the hr, half hour and when you car is in route, all very helpful. I highly recommend them!

I am so pleased with the service!!! The driver was punctual and helped take my dad in his wheelchair up and down the steps of the building! The van was immaculate and there was a plastic divider to keep all of us Covid safe!! I will definitely use them again!

My 89 year old handicapped father recently had surgery and had a follow up appointment with his Dr last week that was somehow overlooked.I was panicking so I called NYC Wheelchair and it was the best decision I ever made! Not only was Danielle incredibly sweet, patient, and understanding, she had a driver on the way in less than 10 minutes!Needless to say, we made the appointment, with time to spare, all thanks to NYC Wheelchair!! When he was done, we just had to call the number back and they sent our driver right away! It was so simple and stress free!Both myself and my father were absolutely amazed with the impeccable customer service, the speed at which they came to the rescue, the friendliness and compassion of the staff, and a pleasant experience overall!We highly recommend this company and now my father will not ride with anyone else 😊Thank you so much to Danielle, Joseph and everyone at NYC Wheelchair! You guys are life savers!!

My grandma just took you guys a few days back and she lifes in Manhattan. I live in Florida and she needed help getting to the grocery store. She has a hard time getting around since she been in a wheelchair since she got in an accident a few months back.. She called me and asked if I can help and I found you guys. She told me after you picked her up and dropped her off with her groceries that everything went great and she will def. Contact you guys again. I visit new York City with family, we used this company for entire week, every day we got different car and driver, they treat us very nice, all car new and drivers very nice.

Great experience today transporting my 90 year old mother throughout NYC. Came on time. Clean van. Kind and courteous driver who drove very carefully.

First, it is the first time that I write a review about a service.I used the service today, 4/18/19. The following occurred: Ron was very pleasant during the reservation process to get a car on east 83rd street, close to 5th Ave. To take my husband (ina shell chair) to the hospital.1) the driver was late and I called to find out why. I was told that the driver was stuck in traffic at 77th street and Madison Ave. REASONABLE— but when we got the car, the driver told us he was coming from 100th street on the west side.2) The driver’s name was Mohamed. He was Chinese, his name was Gungwi.3) The driver was not given our address but was told to go to the corner of 83rd street and 5th Avenue. We were waiting for him, he for us, and it’s only after a couple of calls that we found him. He was parked on 5th Avenue, holding up traffic in a dangerous spot that complicated our loading the wheel chair.5) I asked the driver why he hadn’t called us. He had been given a wrong number that bore no ressemblance to mine.6) The price I was quoted and confirmed failed to incude a &9.80 surcharge.What else could have gone wrong? It was an extraordinarily poorly managed arrangement, and dishonest to boot.I cannot say how awful it all was.
