There is only one phone number to contact this company and their email address. If you have a billing situation, email is the only way to communicate. They do not respond. I made a booking and paid their quote. Unfortunately had to cancel due to emergency situation that required a special equipped ambulance service transfer to another hospital. The cancelled reservation was in plenty of time of the pickup date and I requested refund of the payment made. Unable to contact their billing department directly or speak with a representative that is from their billing department. The only person you get is the reservation personnel who only make the bookings if you call the number they provide. You make the booking based on what they offer, pay to confirm but watch out after that. Other reviews had issues with the transport itself, now I report refund practices from a billing department who only has a email address as a contact number... you be the judge.Update: called the number provided. Advised there is no phone support to the billing department only email in order to contact Jenny Still no refund or response to the email I sent to Jenny’s attention.

I needed to travel from Staten Island, NY to Woodbridge, NJ for my daughters baby shower. Driver Abdul was prompt, professional, friendly, and tremendously helpful. Im hoping to be done with the wheelchair soon, but if I need to travel in the meantime, I will definitely call NYC Wheelchair Transportation and request Abdul.

Dont normally write reviews but this service is too important to not let people know how unreliable they are. I booked a wheelchair equipped ambulette for my 96 year old father. They confirmed and sent several updates by text. When the car didnt show up the hospital I was informed very rudely that my reservation was not confirmed and that they would send a car when a driver was available and that they could not tell me when that would be. It took 2/12 hours with my father who had just gotten out of the hospital sitting and waiting for the car to finally show up. The next day there was no follow up or apology and I was charged the full amount. Several attempts to speak to customer service were ignored and then empty promises of someone caring to call me back. I urge you to find another service if you need reliability for wheelchair transportation. This is not the service to use. Very disappointing.

The wost service I have ever had to deal with. They are sharlatans that take advantage of people with disabilities. After they didnt show up to the appointment time ( confirmed and paid for), they called to say they need an extra $100 in order to show up. 45mins later they were still not there. This was for an airport drop off, and my parents almost missed their flight. I had to order an Uber and have the Uber driver lift my father into the car

I ordered a wheelchair accessible van to pick me up at 2pm. for a one way trip. they in turn charged me for a return ride that I did not order or authorize. When I called to clear this up and request a refund for the trip I did not order, Iand to push back the pick up time 1 hour to 3pm, i was told that it was no problem. I waited for them and called them at 3:25 pm to then be told that it was a mistake and that the website should of told me that they were in NY and that it was impossible and hard to get a van at this point. When Ipointed out that I had a confirmation number and why was I not told of this on the website or in my eaarlier phone call and why didnt they CALL me? ...the response was yea, whatever...but let me see what I can do... because I was pressed and needed the ride, Joseph acts as if he is doing me a favor and tries to get me a wheelchair accessible van- that just happened to be 15 minutes away, but it was going to cost me another 55.00. When I protested that it was their mistake not mines, he acts like he is doing me another favor by getting me a discount, which pretty much adds up to the intial roundtrip cost. I was extorted out of an additional $37.00 that felt very much like a switch and bait and that it took advantage of the disabled. I dont reccomend this place and intend to file a complaint.

WOW! I usually dont write reviews but I feel like this company is a life saver! I was in a complete panic, trying to find a service with accessible vehicles for my stepdad who just had surgery. Danielle was very calming and assured me that they could assist me with anything he might need including the 2 flights of stairs in our building!!!She was so patient and compassionate and sure enough, she had a vehicle there the next morning with 2 men to help my stepdad down the stairs and into the vehicle!! Our driver was extremely nice, the wheelchair was secure, and he drove very cautiously, as I was a bit afraid of a bumpy ride!Overall, this company is an absolute necessity and I wish everyone gave such great customer service!!Thank you Danielle and NYC Wheelchair!!!!

My experience with this company was a total nightmare. I had a wedding to attend on 10/11. I made my reservation for a Mercedes wheelchair van to pick me up at 1:30pm. Pick up comes on time but it’s a Toyota. Call the office to let them know the wrong van was sent but since it was here I would accept it since there wasn’t time to waste. As the driver is getting me into the van another van pulls up. This one is the Mercedes only it’s from a different transportation service. Seems that somehow my reservation got shared or stolen with another company. So now we are on our way to the reception and my phone is ringing like crazy and I am being harassed by this second company. The icing on the cake is that my credit card has been charged $2300. I have yet to receive a final bill outlining the hours and charges. I’ve been calling 2-3 times a day to speak with someone and no one will return my calls. Now it’s being turned over to my attorney. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I would not recommend them. Client information isn’t safe and they are very unprofessional. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I traveled with NYC Wheelchair transportation company, and I was very pleased with my entire experience. I booked a round trip vacation too Atlantic City for 4 days, my driver was very prompt and very accommodating to me & my handicapped husband.. I would definitely travel with this company again.

Although repeatedly having tried to contact NYC Wheelchair Transportation they remain unavailable via phone or email.After a cancellation of a booking, they still commenced with charging my credit card, and remain unavailable for any form of contact.Shameful. Especially in this industry.
