A very beautiful and spacious location. The style is modern yet classic, sleek, and gives a sense of privacy. I like the red brick interior and the high ceiling. The basement is very cool. There are in total 4 floors - 2 for workout and basement are the locker rooms. Overall bigger and has more workout space than the SOHO/Wall St location. I went during off peak hour so it was really nice and empty.
Its a beautiful place. Typically Equinoxs upscale feel with wood, stone and iron.Situated on 4 floors with the locker facilities on the lower level, this place is fully handicapped accessible.Plenty of cardio and stretching less free weights and just okay machines.Conveniently located in NoHo this place is easily accessible by cat, bus, train or by walking.
Not very well maintained, the restrooms were not clean :(
This gym is great, not crowded at all these days given the ongoing situation
Young. Energetic. Clean. Spacious.
I had an amazing experience here. Im seriously contemplating a move to New York over the next few months, and was in town over the weekend and wanted to check out gyms. Equinox has dramatic and beautiful branding, that sticks out even in the bustle of NYC. Because I wasnt certain exactly when Id move, I offered to pay the day fee, and then I realized that at $50, it was a little steep compared to what Im used to paying. This is understandable, as they really want you to meet them and show you the space before giving you the green light to workout. If youre polite, friendly, and earnest, and dont just want a freebie, they will be super gracious and accommodating in turn. I met with Trevor James, who was very helpful, and personable. While youre meeting the staff, its good to pepper in information that lets them ascertain the level of your fitness knowledge so they can know how to give you suggestions. The facilities were high end and low key, which is REALLY tough to find in Philadelphia. Its a little pricier than other gyms, and there are a few things you get when you pay for luxury: Amazing comfy box jump platforms, solid weights (pro tip: The top floor has most of what you need if the main weight room is crowded), and staff that is friendly, and eager to help. As anyone who pays for luxury knows, a small part of the experience are the amenities. What youre really paying for is the service, courtesy, and your actions being interpreted in the best possible light.PS I had a couple of PRs here: Incline DB 95 x 9, and a 48 box jump! Thanks for a great visit guys!
Better than Wall St, better than SoHo, better than E. 54th Street, much better than Orchard Street. The manager here is fantastic.
If you consider signing up at Equinox, think again. Before you sign up they will treat you nicely, but later they will increase your membership fee without a notice and with no cancellation option. Membership fee is guaranteed to increase. They are a fraud. Stay away.
Dont join and cancel unless you want to be harassed by Justin for the rest of your life. For the past three years I receive almost monthly texts from him asking to rejoin. I have asked you all politely to take me off this list, explaining I live nowhere near an equinox now. Ive asked over 20 times- NOW TAKE ME OFF THIS DAMN TEXTING LIST!
Absolutely brilliant. The friendliest staff I have ever met, really great classes, a beautiful space with good equipment, super clean too. The nicest Equinox I have ever been to. HIGHLY recommended.
This is by all measures probably the best Equinox location. Its staff, equipment and services are top notch. The entire place including the locker room is spotless and management is on point.
Meh. This location isnt anything special. Sure its really beautiful aesthetically but thats about it. The layout of the actual workout space is really weird and feels compartmentalized. Not much equipment offered on the mat, either. Steam room smelled horrible and was out of eucalyptus spray. The layout of the locker room was also not my favorite because of the way the lockers are lined up really in an open forum unlike other locations where there are smaller pockets offering more privacy. You feel like you are in this wide open space and facing the mirror so whoever is doing their makeup just has a reflection behind them of a bunch of naked people. Awkward.
Every time I visit NY I check out a different Equinox and this is my favorite in Manhattan. The building is beautiful and it feels like youre working out in a museum. Great equipment and facilities and a nice staff
A hidden gem
My fave of all their locations. Take the Best Butt Ever class.
Great gym. Clean. Roomy. Well oiled equipment. Friendly staff. Class rooms are large and ventilated well.
Excellent gym just wish the layout wasnt as vertical.
Trainers are overpriced and will hog up to 5 pieces of equipment at a time and are unwilling to let you work in with them. No way is it worth the price and I’m glad I quit
Very open floor plan, beautiful new and clean.I really love the location
Of the 6 Ive been to in NYC, Bond St is definitely my favorite. I just wish they offered more classes.
Now my favorite Equinox. I mean, least favorite. Nobody come here.
Great facilities, but gets a bit crowded at times, especially in the steam room.
Felt warm welcomed in here
One of my favs
Such a nice Equinox location
