I took the 7pm tour and the view was great. The city and all of its lights at night looked amazing. Nice ride while sitting back and enjoying a nice drink.
1st time. We had the perfect day of blue skies and sunshine. along with some of the most beautiful sights. We received a great history lesson as well from the conductor. Very enjoyable.
It was a lovely an hour and half for a cruise. We were able to take a picture of Liberty but not get off. It was a nice cruise around parts of New York. They due serve alcohol.
Very nice but you have to pick up good seat or youll have to stand up and lean over people to look at the view
My mother and I did this tour and enjoyed it very much 😀 Id do this again.
Great way to see some hotspots of New York. No busy streets and traffic to fight with.In a warm summer day can be a good way to cool down.Plan good your trip and select your time, a day pass allows multiple in & out entries.A all round trip can take 1 hour. With great views of Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan & statue of liberty.
This review pertains to Hudson River Park - one of NYCs hidden gems on 44th off the Westside Hwy. The views are absolutely spectacular, both of the city itself (you can go out on the pier and get great city views) and the sunsets over NJ are equally amazing. Lots of green space for picnics, trees for shade, kayaking for exercising and a cute and very friendly outdoor restaurant located right by the fountainThank you for helping me keep my sanity during covid !!!!!
My babies had fun with the water... love it...
Good place to travel around NY via river and lake. They have good price and various option to go around NYC. You also can use NYCityPass if you have one, but you have to pay topup like $5 to get a better trip, otherwise you can only get a short trip by circling Liberty Island. Another information, most of their trips are morning trip until early afternoon. They dont offer any trip after 3PM and evening trip (but I think they have midnight trip in the newyear eve.
This is a good alternative for any other transportation in Manhattan. The price is not to bad and you get some information during you’re trip in between the 4 stops. You can hop on hop off as many times as you want during the day, you only have to check the arrival/departure times. The boat has air-conditioning and passes the statue of liberty to let you make perfect pictures.
Great service, always on time.
When visiting New York again this will be our only mode of transportation as you can make the walk to the pier from our Manhattan hotel in about half an hour. To save some money I bought the tickets to the water taxi on Groupon and had no trouble redeeming them at the ticket window. Price is a slight high however if you stay on the ninth minute taxi you get a narrative tour.
Very nice experience! !!! I recommend
The water taxi is rad with 5 stops (midtown, battery park, wall street, south street sea port, + DUMBO) around the city and you can step on and off for an all day experience! Pictured are DUMBO and when the boat passes by Redhook on the circle back to midtown. *Travel tip: leave time for a nice walk on the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridge in Dumbo*
This trip worth it. Very convenient and covers all main land marks with option to disembark, walk around and reembark as much as you wish during the day.
Enjoyable sight seeing tour on a hot sunny day. Tour guide very knowledge. Would highly recommend. Also kid friendly
It’s a nice place to stay, nice area, the hotel have good rooms, good food and the prices are not too high
Good sights pf Manhattan and liberty statue
While I was in New York, I decided to take a boat tour. Im glad I picked the Beast. It was very fun. We got a little wet. But, that was just part of the fun.
Helpful people around. Made getting on the circle line sight seeing boat easy.
Got to see the Statue of Liberty 🗽
Fabulous relaxing informative tour of the island. Joe is a world of true knowledge. Worth doing the 2.5 hr best of NY
Great experince
Highly recommend this. A great way to see the city, including a brilliant view of the Statue of Liberty.
Great experience with hop on and off at key locations, very friendly staff and good narration, and no queues at each stop. Thanks!
Very Nice experience.
We rode the Beast!! Just amazing!!
Super efficient and on time! Our tour guide was soooooo knowledgeable. It made the tour worth every penny!
Really nice Tour!
Good for seeing the major tourist attractions by water taxi. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly.
Fun experience, we got off and walked the Brooklyn bridge and they were back to pick us up in an hour
Took the Circleline up to Bear Mountain. There were a ton of people and little organization. Plus, theres never a reason to charge $5 for water especially when you make me dump mine out before boarding. Still, great views and a fun trip.
Tour guy was so knowledgeable!!
Nice way to see the lower part of the city, and get you to a few of your destinations without having to walk. My ticket was included in my New York Pass, and was a great addition to the other attractions that I wanted to visit. This Taxi has 4 stops, and you have the option to hop on and off as you desire (within their time schedules) to reach your point of interest.
Great to explore NY. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
In love with new york!
Very difficult to find the water taxi station.
It was awesome experience using water taxi. Narrator was equipped with profound knowledge about visiting places came on the way. He described every thing in full detail. My journey was very much comfortable. There was space available to roam around and relax.During the trip music was played and snacks were offered. There were other tourists too from different places, so this taxi was the opportunity to do interaction with them and get to know about them.Amazing experience.
Two and a half hour tour did not disappoint
Not as good as a few years ago, plus the windows could have been cleaner, but still better than any other sightseeing cruises.
Nice boat ride
Worth it
Go there every weekend to relax and unwind my thoughts. Outside of the area where people lay out to catch sun, everyone else practices Social distancing.
Great tour, well guided, amazing views. We booked a corporate team outing here and had a private space with food and drink. The experience was great and feedback was exceptional! I didn’t try the food, but it looked somewhat basic, so maybe eat before you go!
Super lovely! Evening ride is gorgeous with all the lights. The commentator is superb! Very knowledgeable and even paced in delivery. Lots of safety precautions are taken. Staff are thorough in the checks and helpful. Must do while in NY
Sunset party cruise 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great experience,Perfect for photos
I recommend the service
Nice place
Most economical way of touring NYC. Took a whole day hop-on-off pass. Allowed us to to visit sites close to all the stops .... Battery Park, Wallstreet, Brooklyn Bridge, etc..owed us to save money on cab fare plus we were able to see a lot of sites in a short time. Not to forget the close trip to the Statue of Liberty. Did not get off at the island but got close enough to take some nice pictures.
Very cool !
Been on all the different boats the beast is great for a fun different ride but take the other boat for a slower scenic tour of NYC
We did the water taxi tour since it was included in the New York city pass & it did not disappoint. You can sit upstairs or down stairs on the boat. Amazing views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the closest views you can get of Liberty without stepping foot on the Island. If you want to get on and get off at different parts of the city and also get some fantastic opportunities for photos without standing in a huge long queue at battery park, then this is the boat for you.
Enjoyed a 2.5 hour river cruise taking in the sights of New York. Excellent commentary during the cruise. Excellent choice of drinks at the bar!Well worth doing if youre in NYC.
The route is well designed and you can have a good tour on Hudson River. But the punctuality is really bad
3rd time coming to NYC and taking the water taxi!! Best way to get around and the tour guides are informative as well as entertaining! Handicap accessible to boot!!
Great way to sightsee NYC, but getting around by boat. Unlimited on/off with a full day pass - but only 4 stops. Final leg takes you up close to the Statue of Liberty for a photo op. Very cool stop in Brooklyn where you can do some exploring. Some of the best views are from the boat looking at Manhattan from the river.
Look for the bright yellow water taxi! So amazing, great tour guide and it takes you to 4 locations; hop on hop off only goes to two. Definitely have a map, and your walking shoes because youre going to want to explore!
Hop on and off from Midtown to Brooklyn with the beautiful view from the Hudson River. Nothing say enjoying NY more than stopping at Dumbo to grab ice cream after strolling around Battery Park. Great service and the guide was very informative and funny. It worth the ride!
Very nice ride! Practical and really fun! Excellent hop on/off!
For the crowd that they have - they can easily have another two counters rather than having people wait on the long and tiresome queues. The boat cruise was fine but I wish the guy with the Mic on the ship talked less than he did. Sometimes, its so peaceful to be able to look into the lake and enjoy the view than having to listen to the forced humor in the background.
Employees are very helpful and friendly. Easy and cheap way to get from NY to Jersey. Beautiful views of the city. Will take this ride again.
Hope on and hope off ! Perfect for day trip !
Whenever I have friends or family that visit from another country or state this is one of the places to start. They get to so many beautiful things.
Very good
The hop on hop off feature is very good! Also the guide has excellent knowledge of New York and it’s landmarks! Staff are great and we never had any issue with getting on at stops as there is plenty of seating and space onboard.
I was around the area for a dog run. It was fun. I met lots of people and pets and my dog made lots of new friends. It’s definitely a tourist area so don’t go when it’s busy.
Easy to get to (via taxi but a reasonably straight forward walk back to Times Square). We did the 15:30 Circle Line cruise to see the sites and we were not disappointed. The crew were excellent and very descriptive in regards to all the views. Would highly recommend (Investigate NYC Pass or equivalent)
Nobody was attending the ticket booth at 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon, leaving us with no way to board the boat we watched come and go. Other than that the trip was great. Our captain was friendly and the ride was full of great views of the city.
Cool place to get a ride around the Hudson river and enjoy the breathtaking views of the NYC skyline.
Beautiful
