My friend and I did not stop by the rental Center when we visited the Home Depot at 32 West 23rd Street (my store) several days ago.We had only.1 purpose to considered at Home Depot, and that was to secure a few different Lysol products for me and my 82 year old mother because accordingly to the Home Depots App, there would be cases and cases of different smell Lysol Disinfectant Spray. It also advertises they had plenty of Lysol Disinfectant Wipes in different sizes and packaging. Truth be told, there was not 1 item of Lysol product in the entire store, and that information came from the information counter.Sure enough, when my friend and I went to see if there could have been a mistake at the information counter, that really was no Lysol products at all.The day I went up to My Home Depot, it was 95 degrees, and we are still in the CoronaVirus Pandemic.I hope Home Depot will update their app to reflect what is really in stock at their stores. To be honest, I was quite angry having to make around trip to My Home Depot for NOTHING.
Great and friendly staff. Hi Odessa !
Heading down to rent a saw now. Guy was un believably rude on the phone. If this doesnt work out I will be furious.FOLLOW UP: When I got there, there was a different guy, named Andre C., and he could not have been nicer or more helpful. He had lots of good advice, explained the tool carefully, and made sure I had charged batteries. He even carried the heavy case to walked the door for me. What a difference.Find the right person when you visit. Some of the employees know a lot and really care. Some dont. Im changing this review from two stars to four after the second half of my experience.
A soul crushing big box store - really? It has a lot of everything you will need for your home. The staff is helpful but not knowledgeable. This store will rent tools. Not to mention that a lot of contractors buy their supplies in the city here. Pretty good prices. You should always check the internet for pricing and options.Note: the are dozens of tile and wood flooring showrooms in the neighborhood. There are also loads of decor and furniture stores nearby too.
Very helpful and knowledgeable.
Just got back from attempting to rent a wet saw. Called at 11 to see if it was there, took the train down, rented saw, cab back to house ($20) 1 hour messing with it. Tilesaw is broken. Water pump is shot. Cab back another 20 bucks. Tool rental guys attitude is crap. He has no suggestions. Maybe try another store...he guesses. Or we could buy a saw..but the general suggestion is its not his problem. We trust in your service and somehow it costs us money. We are out 40 bucks and still have not finished our project but have lost a day. Seriously we need to make ten cuts and recently spent thousands at Home Depot.
Easy pick up of many power tools. After 10 rentals you get express check through. Nostrand Home Depot has no rentals, 23rd St has rentals in Manhattan but sometimes its easier to pick up and drop off here in Brooklyn.
